There is a supposed homeless guy that always has a sign on the offramp @ 58 and morning dr. I get off the freeway to see a bag left with various snacks that people have given throughout the day! Laptops: When buying one what do I look for/at? It will be used approximatly 2-4 hours a day, web surfing, will need to hold 100`s of photos, some music from I-Tunes, and I believe that is it.

My son (11 months) has an undescended testicle and found that he has a hernia (on or around the testicle--not sure). Do you know if this is painful to the baby? My son is such an happy baby, not sure if this the cause of it or because of teething.

My son is 6 months and his naps are still all over the place. 30 minute naps no longer suffice him but he still wakes after 30. He is so cranky and I know this is one of the reasons why (other reason..he`s cutting 3 teeth). So i`ve asked this question before but he was a bit younger...how do you suggest me to get him back to sleep. I don`t rock him, pat him, walk with him in order for him to nap. I kiss him on his forehead and lay him down and off to dream land he goes. ANY suggestions would be great. Thanks my lovelys.

Teething:: Did your baby turn into a totally different baby (for the worse) when teething? My son did fine with bottom two, now he`s getting the two teeth next to the top front. (Upper lateral incisors)(sp?). Im not sure if this is his personality (extremely fussy, not happy with even being held) or the eye teeth coming in are making him act this way. What was yours and babies experience with teething, especially with upper lateral incisors.

Im part hispanic and im married to a hipanic. I have tried and tried to make refried beans and not once have they came out tasting like my mother in laws, I swear I do exaxctly as she does. Im thinking im not cooking the beans correctly...I don`t know really. So I want my beans to taste like the best you`ve ever eaten. Don`t be greedy and tell me the `secret` lol. Im just embarassed because they are so awful and my girls are so bummed when its time to eat them =S. I`ve found many reciepes for refried beans calling for all kinds of whacked out ingredients, including canned whole pinto beans...what the hell...thats not authentic. Please share, im hungry lol.

I`m considering hiring someone to come watch my son in the evening time every now and again so that me and hubby can get out. I so need a break from my 3 month old. My almost three month old only takes 30-45 minute naps through out the day and sleeps 11.5 hours at night. A book im reading says at his age he should be sleeping 10 hours at night and five hours through out the day spread out in three naps. He is getting his full 15 hours of sleep like the book suggest. Do you think I should wake him at 10 hours of sleep in hopes that he will nap longer. He is soooo cranky during the day and im pretty sure its because his naps are so short....I believe he needs more daytime sleep. What`s your opionion or experience in this.

My son is 8 weeks old. At his 2 month check-up I voiced my concern about him being super gassy at night, which she said was normal. I was unable to explain myself completly as I felt like she was rushing me through what I was saying. I was trying to tell her that he passes gas at the same time everynight and is very loud and forceful. Do you think this is normal? I was thinking about switching him to Gentlease formula from Enfamil with Lipil. What`s your thoughts on it?

I`m in a rut....I have 7.5 week old that I am trying to break from the pacifier. I`ve read in one of my books it is suggested that you should do away with the paci so that you don`t have to get up in the middle of the night or during naps to put it back in the babies mouth if it was to fall out. I have found this to be so on occasion. I must ad that he hasn`t depended on this paci until recently. So far my plan to break him has been rough he had one nap with out it but no luck with the other. What would you do in my situation? Please tell me your experience. Thanks in advance.

I as well have a baby that refuses to sleep during the day so in turn this makes him extremely fussy. He will fall asleep in our arms but as soon as we put him down he`s bright eyed bushy tailed--doesn`t scream just wakes up. My son is only 3 weeks. Im not sure what is going on. I know he should be sleeping MOST of his day. So any recommendations? My mom said to just let him cry....doesn`t seem right to me! Along with this I have been battling major baby blues so this is definatly putting me over the edge.
