I am 41 weeks today and I had a question for the ladies that have been induced. I am suppose to get induced in 2 days and I would like to know a few things about it. This will be my second baby and I went natural with her. I heardwhen you get induced the contractions are worst. Is that true? I also heard there is a greater risk of c-section. Is that true also? That is the last thing I want.

I am 40 weeks pregnant. I was debating on trying castor oil. Does it really work? Let me know if it worked for you. How much did you take and how long did it take to go into labour. I am 2 cm and 40% effaced. The baby`s head is at -2 station.

I am almost 2 cm dialated, 40% effaced and -2 station. A couple of days ago I was getting contractions 2-15 min apart and then the next day they were 2-5 min apart for 5 hours. I went to the hospital and they said they weren`t strong enough yet. Then the contractions slowed right down for a couple of days. But now they are starting back up but irregular along with severe pressure. The pressure comes and goes but it is so bad that it hurts to walk through them. I am also getting back pain that comes and goes. Has anyone been through this? and if so how long did it last before labour?

I am due in 2 days and I am 2cm and 75% effaced. I have been having contractions on and off for a few days now. They were down to 2-5 min apart for 2 hours and then stopped. I was just wondering if sex actually works or not. Let me know if it worked for you or not. and how long after sex did you go into labour?

I am 39 weeks pregnant and I have been getting contractions for 2 days now. The first day they were 2-15min apart all day and the second day (today) they were 2-5 min apart. I went into the hospital today and they said the contractons weren`t strong enough yet. They checked me and I am 2 cm and 75% effaced. For the last couple of hours the contractions slowed right down. And now they are starting back up and I am getting back pain and pressure with them. Has anyone been through this? How much longer do you think I have?

I am 39 weeks and I started contractions last night. They were 2-15min apart from 10pm-2:30am.I had them through the night and I am still getting them today. They are ranging from 2-10 min today. Some contractions are stronger then others. I can still talk and walk through them. I was 1cm dialated 2 weeks ago. Has anyone else been through this? and if so how long after going through this did you have your baby?

I am 39 weeks and the doctor told me I was 1cm dialated a week ago. My contractions are getting stronger but the are still all over the place. I am pretty sure I have lost my plug. Last night When I got up from sitting, I couldn`t walk because of the pressure down there. I was in alot of pain. Also 2 days ago I had discharge like mucus and there was a tinge of blood in it. Are these signs of early labour?

I am 38 weeks pregnant and for the past couple of hours I have been feeling this horrible pain off and on. It feels like the baby is pushing down. I feel this pain everytime the baby moves, and it really hurts. What could this be?

I am 38 weeks pregnant and I went in for an ultrasound and they said my baby weighs 5lbs 10 ounces. I was a little worried while I was in for the ultrasound because the technician was watching my baby`s breathing for 10 min. He said he was watching for her diaphram to expand (pratice breathing). It didn`t happen in that 10 min so He sent me for a 5 min walk. He said it only happens ounce in a while (when the baby is active). So I went for a walk and came back and he still didn`t see it. So I don`t really understand what he was looking for. If anyone knows what he was talking about, please let me know. I don`t know if there is something wrong or not.

I am 38 weeks pregnant and I went to the doctors yesterday and he said that I am 1 cm dialated and 0% effaced. I was in bed last night and feeling really ill. I felt hot and also I felt like vomiting. I woke up and went to the bathroom and I had major diareha (sorry TMI) How long after you get diareha did you go into labour? I was wondering because my husband has to leave tommorrow for 2 days and I really don`t want to have this baby while he is gone.

I am 37 weeks tommorrow and I have been getting thick yellow discharge for about 3 weeks now. It looks like stringy snot. The other day I had sex and then the next day the discharge turned to brown and it was stingy and like snot. My doctor said that my cervix is soft a week ago. So I was wondering what this is?

I am 33 weeks pregnant and my doctor said that I have dropped. I was also in the hospital last night because my contractions were 3 min apart for about 6 hours. Then they calmed down after that , and I was sent home on bed rest. Now my question is, after you drop how long do you have until the baby is born?

I am 33 weeks today and last night I was in so much pain.I was having alot of pelvic and hip pain. I was having 4-6 contractions an hour for a couple of hours. I had a lower back pain. It really hurt to walk or move. This morning I am still a tiny bit sore and have irregular contractions with a lower backache. So today I am not too bad. Is this normal? Does anyone else have this?

I am almost 33 weeks pregnant and I am a little worried because I am having signs of preterm labour. If I go into labour before 37 weeks I have to get transported by helicopter to Edmonton. I am really worried because I have a 4 year old daughter and a husband and I don`t know if they will allow them on the helicopter. It is a 5 hour drive. So I am worried because I might have to be alone during delivery. Does anyone else have to be transported somewhere if you go into labour before 37 weeks?

I am 32 weeks pregnant and I have been getting this shooting pain in the pelvic area. The pain is deep inside (where the cervix is) This pain only lasts about 10 seconds. Some days I get them lots and other days I don`t get them at all. Has anyone else experienced this? What could it be?

Tommorow I will be 20 weeeks and I have been spotting for pretty much the whole 20 weeks. First it was brown then it was pink and now it is yellow. I had 2 ultrasounds and everything looks good. I have to wear a panty liner everyday because of this. So has anyone else been through this before?
