We just decided on our wedding date on 6/23/12!!! Do I need to do save the dates? Most guests live less than 1 hour away from our location. A few guests will be traveling about 3 hours. We are trying to do this as cheap as possible! thanks ladies!!

I was put on birth control for endometriosis in October. My LMP was 10/11/11 and with the pills i`m supposed to get a period 4 times a year. I got my period last Saturday 12/17 and it`s still going strong! My periods typically last 4-6 days and this is day 10 and no sign of slowing down, actually pretty heavy. A super tampon gets full in about 3-4 hours. Is this normal????

Family gift ideas??? My mom is purchasing each of her 3 kids a family gift for her children, the spouse and kids. She is planning to spend $200 per family: she is getting my sister`s family a camcorder, my brother`s family a wii and games. I have no idea what to tell her what our family wants!! Our kids are 1 and 3 and I would like to chose something we would all use. We already have cameras, camcorders, and a wii. I can`t think of anything else. Help please!! We are planning on getting married next year in September or October. I want to pick a theme for the wedding to make decorations/center pieces and all. strange dreams...I had a dream that I got a female co-worker of mine pregnant (yes, I am a woman). It my dream I was really confused as to how it happened but I knew I got her pregnant. My 18 month old son has a pretty good size (size of a dime) blister on his tongue and has another very tiny one. I saw it this morning and i`m wondering where it could have came from. He didn`t get hurt or anything-Could it be hand, foot, and mouth disease?? He isn`t drinking much, but otherwise is acting normal. If not, what else could have caused it?? thanks

Mosquito bite question- My almost 3 year old daughter came home with 19 mosquito bites on one leg yesterday! SHe had more on her other leg and and arms. I send in bug spray and the daycare woman claims she put the spary on ( I know she isn`t.) We are changing daycares, so my kids last day will be this friday. THe bites from yesterday are still swollen and bright red and very itchy. She is allergic to them. Should I take her to the doctors due to her getting so many in one 1-2 hour time frame? She isn`t acting sick but the bug bites are warm to touch?? I`ve been putting the itch relief stuff on her or giving her benadryl to help. After the stuff wears off, it`s very itchy all over again. thanks ladies :)

If you have a little girl particularly with curly hair how old was she when she got her first haircut?? We are in the process of potty training our daughter! SHe is 2.5 and doing so well, we just really started a few weeks ago. At home she is only in panties and at daycare in a pull up. Every day this week she has come home in the same pull-up she went in. At night we are doing diapers for obvious reasons. She has not pooped in the potty and I know that will come in time. My question is, when should I start sending her to daycare in panties vs. a pull-up? I`m not a huge fan of them and they are more expensive then diapers. THanks

My sister is pregnant with her first child and thinking of baby names, they don`t know the sex yet. One of her top baby names for a boy is Avery. My fiance and I had a son a year ago and we were all set with the name Avery but when he came out we felt like he didn`t look like an Avery and decided to name him Alex. Since his birth and even now, I debate back and forth on whether my son should be an Alex or Avery. I am sort of offended my sister would try to take this name. My sister aren`t the best of sisters. Am I crazy with my thought by being offended/upset about this. I feel like she stole the name, oh and she knows that I still go back and forth about my sons name.

I am EBF my son, he is 12 weeks old. He sleeps through the night for about 8-9 hours. I am on the mini pill. After I stopped bleeding iniatially after giving birth, I had what I thought was a period around 6-7 weeks post partum. It was fairly light and lasted aobut 3 days. I haven`t had a period since and it`s been about 5 weeks. I am a little worried that I could be pregnant. Please help. With my daughter I got my period back when she was 4 months and had it back every month after that.

If you have too many BH contractions will that make you go into labor sooner than if you didn`t have lots of them. Sorry if this is tmi: I have a yeast infection from antiobiotics I am on for a respiratory infection. I am now on meds for the yeast infection but it`s not feeling better at all, i`ve taken the 2nd dose of a 3 day treatment. 2 questions: Can I do anything else to ease the discomfort (I can`t have yogurt, it makes me sick) and if I continue to take my antiobiotics will it make the yeast infection stay longer even with the meds??

Questioning about daycare: transitioning my daughter from the infant to toddler room. details inside, thanks.

My daughter is almost 13 months and in the infant room at her daycare. She will transition to the toddler room within the next few months. They do a slow transition when the child is ready to get them used to the new kids and teachers. I am due in march, my dd will be about 16 months old.. I will keep her home with me for 3 months while i'm out on maternity leave. My question/concern is should I have them delay transitioning her to the toddler room because I don't want her to become stressed before the new baby arrives (but it would be nice for her to go back into the toddler room and have it be familiar to her afterwards) or should I have them transition her before I go out on maternity leave so when she goes back it will be less difficult because she will not be in a new place. Any comments or a new way to look at things are greatly appreciated. I know when she goes back to daycare after the baby is born, she will definitely go directly in the toddler room, so they won't have a chance to be together.

I am 22wks pregnant and can`t drink milk or have hardly any dairy. I get super bad cramps for hours and then have huge #2. Not too concerned about me, i am drinking lactaid now and i`m fine, just curious about the baby growing inside me. Does this mean that he will have problems digesting milk and my breastmilk after he is born? I`m really nervous he will have problems with this, Ididn`t have lactose problems when I was pregnant with my daughter.

Does anyone else feel like this? I have an 11 month old daughter who I adore so much. I was on the mini pill and got prego when she was 7 months old, so I am 18 weeks now. I can feel the baby move around a bit! I don`t feel like i`m connected to the baby or this pregnancy at all. I was totally different with my dd, i was excited at every move and day (she was planned). Have you heard of a memory foam mattress topper for your baby`s crib??? A friend of mine is convinced they make them, not just the plain old mattress pad to stop pee from getting to the mattress but to add added comfort, she says it`s an inch thick. I`ve never heard of such a thing and would think it`s pretty risky for sids and such.

My daughter is 10 months and is 21lbs 6 oz. she is still in her infant carseat. The weight limits on the seat is 22lbs. I have one convertable seat to go in my car that can be rear facing until she is 30lbs. We also have another carseat that can only go forward and starts at 20 lbs. I am going to put the convertable seat in my car, should i let her stay in her infant carseat in dh`s car or just have her switch to forward facing. The laws here is she has to be rear facing until a year and 20 lbs. I don`t want to jeopardize her safety either way. Any suggestions

Is it okay to have our dd first b-day party at a restuarant and have our guests pay for themselves. It`s probably about 30 people coming, all family except about 5 of them who are my friends. I made a poll early today about weaning my 10 month old daughter. She already has 3 bottles a day and the 4th time she eats ( the morning feed) she is still nursing. On Sunday I didn`t feed her from me in the am and my breasts got sooo engorged throughout the day and night. I was nearly in tears. I thought that since my body was only making enough milk for one feeding a day it wouldn`t be a big deal to drop it. My question is how can I make this pain more bearable?? If my breasts get engorged and I pump or express the milk out wouldn`t that tell my breasts to keep making milk??

I am weaning my daughter from breast to bottle, she is 10 months old and I am prego and extremely exhausted. I dropped all her feedings to bottles except the first morning feed. I didn`t breastfeed her yesterday morning and my breasts got so engorged i was nearly in tears. Is it supposed to hurt this bad and is there anyway to ease the pain. If the milk is ready to come out what will happen if I don`t feed her anymore, will they go down?? I am really confused, when I dropped the other feedings, I just felt a little bit more full than normal so I didn`t expect the engorgement again. Please help!

Double stroller time! When my baby is born my daughter will be 16 months old. I am looking at tandem strollers and don`t know which ones are better. I am looking at the front back strollers and the side by side. I am also looking at the double sit and stand. Any suggestions or ideas on how to narrow my search. I don`t want something too heavy or big because i`m not a big person and i don`t want something designed for tall people because i`m only 5 foot. Please I need some help!

For mommies with more than one child, if you had both genders did your face break out/ or not break out differently with the different gender. I have a daughter already and my face didn`t break out at all and right now I can`t do anything to stop it from breaking out.

My daughter is 9 months old and I am going to mix my frozen breastmilk with formula because I am weaning her and I want her to get my breastmilk as long as possible. If you were pregnant with your 2nd child and you make too much money for subsidized daycare but when the second child comes you will qualify, would you accept a job where you would make more money than to qualify for the daycare? It would be nice to get more money now but the difference isn`t greateer than what the cost of daycare would be for 2 babies in day care. They will be 16 months apart and I NEED to work.

A friend of mine had her baby 2 weeks ago and is doing it solo. Baby`s dad doesn`t want anything to do with her and my friend`s family is completely crazy. She is considering giving the baby up for adoption and I think that might be the best choice just by knowing her general unstability. She won`t get over the loser dad and is having a tough time. After you started feeding solids, how long did it take your lo to get used to it? We just started 9 days ago, she is almost 6 months and hates it so far. We have only tired rice ceral and squash, she does better with the squash but doesn`t open her mouth and turns away. Yesterday she just cried in her highchair. My best friend just found out that her boyfriend of 1 1/2 years `cheated` on her last summer. A friend of her`s that knows both of them and said he slept with this girl last year summer when he was working at a summer camp. My friend asked her boyfriend and he denies that they had sex but says `they kissed and touched.` My friend is just believing what he is saying and letting it pass. Of course I`m going to tell her my opinion on the matter but I wanted to see what you all would do if you were her.
