sonic doesnt carry the chicken stip basket combo anymore! how do you feel about this? lol, i found this out yesterday and dont eat fast food often but when i do its always a chicken strip basket. sonic and DQ do them here but DQ is much farther from me. i`m super upset.. they dont even offer the country gravy as a dipping option.

when travelling with your pet(s) fo you drug them with benadryl? i`ve never done this but am considering it as i`ll be driving 10-12 hours with my 32 month old and 3 month mastiff puppy. i`m 32 weeks pregnant so my patience tolerance is low and jyst trying to make this trip as easy and quick as possible. the dog does ok in the car for the most part but heatd you could give benadryl to animals when travelling. he`s about 20 lbs now and i plan on calling the vet tomorrow but just wanted to see what others thoughts/experiences wrte. thanks.

Does anyone know if the Munchkin Silicone Bottle Sleeves (4 oz and 8 oz) fit the Dr.Brown`s glass bottles? Lately my 2.5 year old has become VERY clingy. I`m 6 months pregnant so that could be why but also just a stage he`s going through I`m sure. I work full time so when I come home and try to cook dinner he`s wrapped around my leg or pushes me away from whatever I`m doing. I know he needs my attention and I need some fresh ideas in including him in my activies so I can get regular chores done and give him the attention he needs. He`s also yelling NO to everything I ask him to do even if he wants to do the task.. any ideas?

At what age do you move a toddler into a booster seat? I`m shopping for a new infant seat for our next baby but my son is 2.5 years old and weighs 33-ish lbs right now. Been looking at the Eddie Bauer Deluxe High Back Booster Car Seat which is a 5 point harness until 40 lbs and then you can switch it to a seatbelt strap booster until 100 lbs. Is there an age requirement though like when you move an infant to a convertable seat?

Does your milk come in sooner the 2nd time around? My son was over 9lbs and my milk took 6 days to come in.. I had to supplement with formula after breastfeeding on each side first. I`m just wondering if my milk will likely come in sooner this time or not.

Do you think a double stroller is neccessary for a nearly 3 year old and newborn? I honestly don`t use my single stroller very often but maybe that`s due to the fact I have 2 free hands to hold my sons hand and can chase him if he runs away. He doesn`t nap on the go either. I can`t decide if I want a double stroller or just use my ergo carrier with the infant and umbrella stroller for the toddler if needed.. suggestions please.

For mama`s with 18 month olds + I just want to throw this out there... for a christmas gift idea (especially those with boys)... we got my son a balance bike (aka a running bike) last April and it`s been the best thing we ever got for him. He `rides` it everyday and we`re actually getting him a new one for christmas because there is no tread left on his tires and I accidently broke the seat permantly while helping him do `tricks` lol.. He thinks he`s riding a real big kid bike when he`s on this thing and supposedly it`s suppose to help kids transition to regular pedal bikes and skip the training wheels.. Just an idea for those who might be stuck on ideas for their little ones. The 10` wee-ride was the perfect size for my son at 18m-2 but we`re upgrading to a 12` Strider for him now. He stays in the 90 % in growth.

anybody ever taken baby asprin during pregnancy to prevent blood clots? I just found out I`m pregnant yesterday (4 weeks exactly) and I`ve had 2 miscarriage and 1 healthy pregnancy in between the two miscarriages. I have a feeling I lost those pregnancies due to clots. I don`t bruise easy, my uncle was recently hospitalized for a major clotting disorder, and strokes run in the family, and something that really stands out to me is the fact that while I was getting blood drawn after my last miscarriage the tech had a hard time getting me to bleed out enough for 4 vials.. so it`s a constant worry I have and I`d like to doing anything safe to prevent another mc. I have a doctors appointment next friday but military care is definitely not the best and sometimes I`m usually better off making my own calls... I already know my Dr is going to say no so I`ve been reading up on natural anti-coagulants in foods and will try that in the meantime. Just want to see if there is anyone out there with a similar story or have taken baby aspirin throughout pregnancy and why. Thanks

My husband is preparing for his 4th deployment this next summer. He works ALOT lately and spends about 2 nights a week overnight in the woods training and works an easy 12-14 hour day the rest of the week. Since I only see him when he`s asleep mostly I`ve gotten stuck in my own daily routine. The fact that he`s deploying soon is starting to set in and he expressed to me tonight that he wants us to make the most of it. My question is... what can we do together in the evenings after baby is in bed to spend more time with each other with the tv OFF? We need interaction besides sex.. I was thinking about buying some board games tomorrow but I`m open to other suggestions. Thanks!

Not baby related: My husband`s older sister whom he`s really close to has been in prison for 7 years and she gets out this Tuesday. I`ve never met her but we`ve written letters a few times and DH is very excited to see her again. My question is... if you were 29 years old and had been isolated like that for 7 years... what are some things that would like to have at home. Has hollywood ruined the name Damian? My husband and I have had our boy name picked out for a long time and I`m 6 weeks pregnant now so I don`t know what we`re having but we`ve chosen Damian Alec for a boy. It seems like alot of people associate with the movie `The Omen` and think it means `son of devil` which is not true. Every name book/website I`ve seen showed the meaning is `Calm, Tame`... Have any of you gone straight to a convertable carseat rather than an infant carseat from birth? I`m pregnant with #2 and with my son we put him in a convertable carseat at 3 months because he screamed bloody murder in the infant one.. he may have been too big.. (he was 9,1 at birth.. 15 by 2 months).. I`m thinking of just bypassing the infant seat this time because it was a waste of money last time and using my Ergo carrier for errands, etc. What do you think? With two it`ll be different.. do you think the infant seat is necessary?

What other brand of shoes are good for beginner walkers. The only brand I can think of is ROBEEZ but I`ve heard some others.. I just can`t think of the names right now. Have you ever stopped your DH/SO while you were having sex and said you just weren`t feeling it? I`ve been doing this lately or I just can`t get in the mood.. I seriously dont know whats wrong with me. It`s driving my DH mad (I don`t blame the poor guy).. I`m 7 months PP and quit breastfeeding last month. I have NO desire for sex.. just cuddles. My son is 7 months and I use Dr.Brown bottles. I`m getting really tired of cleaning all the tiny pieces and am thinking of switching to the Playtex drop-ins for convenience and also because my son likes to sit up more when he takes his bottle and I figure the drop-ins are easier to drink from in an upright postion. Is it worth the money to switch bottles this late in the game?

How many cubes does the average ice cube tray hold? I ask because I`m making my own baby food and the trays I bought hold 14 single cubes. They seem smaller than normal to me. Thanks

My son is 5 months old and sleeps soooo much. I`ve posted polls on here asking if you wake your baby up from his nap because if I don`t he will sleep all day. He sleeps 11-12 hours at night and 5 hours divided into 3 naps during the day. Seems like alot.. what do you think?

My husband comes home from a 12 month deployment from Afghanistan next month. Our son will be 6 months old. What are some good Welcome Home ideas? So far, I`ve gotten his cell phone upgraded, his favorite beer/alcohol waiting for him, plan on making a cake and having flowers and cookie bouquet at home, and maybe having a cute onesie made for our son.. not sure what it should say..? Any other ideas would be great!! Thanks

My husband is deployed and won`t see his son until he is 6 months old. He`s now 3 months old and doesn`t let anyone but me put him down for naps or hold him too long. Is this just a stage? I`m a litte worried my husband won`t be able to jump right in and start taking over some baby duties.

For all the breastfeeding moms: Do you feel empty at the last feeding? I feel I have a good supply throughout the day but my son doesnt seem satisfied at the last one.. I dont want to supplement with formula and already take Fenugreek and Mothers milk tea. What can I do to be sure I have enough for that last feeding?
