Other-poll poll Not related to babies or pregnancy at all. I really would appreciate some help with this though! I just finally got a laptop for my home (gave my dad my desktop because he loves going on the computer). I am almost 36 weeks pregnant and bored, sitting home all the time and want to get internet set up ASAP! I also need to get home phone set up. My questions are 1 - what do you use for internet/home phone and what is good/bad about it? 2-is it smarter to just go with a package from the same company instead of getting them from separate companies? I really dont want to get dial-up because it is so so slow, but I also cant spend a fortune on high speed. Im looking for the lowest price on high speed internet and the home phone i am basically just getting to use the internet, so i dont need anything besides basic home phone service. Also, i looked around online and talked to a few people and everyone is saying Comcast is best. However, when I looked online it said $52 a month for basic phone and the high speed internet (not the fastest high speed but not dial-up). Well, I called today and the lady tells me no, that is the equivalent of dial-up, for the real high speed(still not the `turbo` speed but it is high speed) and basic phone is going to cost you about $110 a month! How can it be $60 more for high speed? I thought high speed was only like $30 a month. Im lost on what the most affordable yet reliable service is, so if any of you ladies could help I would greatly appreciate it :) !

Pregnancy-poll poll I got the Dr. Brown`s Microwave Sterilizer at my baby shower. It says on the box `fits most brands`. I have all Playtex VentAire bottles. It doesn`t actually list what brands it works with. Do you know if I can use the Playtex VentAire Advanced bottles?
(Pregnancy-poll poll by blondiex2, 867 days ago)

Pregnancy-poll poll Ok, even with everybody reassuring me, is it REALLY totally normal to feel as if my baby is just going to fall out at any moment? I am almost 30 weeks the last few days it literally feels like a bowling ball is going to fall out. I can even feel my son pushing from both ends - hes shoving his feet into my ribs to help him push against my cervix. Even now as I am writing this I will suddenly have him push against my cervix and it feels like a foot is going to come out. Even stranger, when he pushes against my cervix (and I guess my bladder too at the same time but I just can`t tell) it suddenly feels like I am going to pee myself. I remember saying in my second trimester that as OFTEN as I have to pee, that I didnt think I wouldn`t have problems holding it. If I only knew! I really don`t think I am going to make it the whole nine months without `leaking` once, as it already feels like the urge to pee comes on sooo strong. Do you ladies remember it being just like this, and is it normal for me at almost 30 weeks to be feeling it already? I`m not sure if it makes a difference, but he is measuring two weeks ahead so maybe with him being so big it would explain it?
(Pregnancy-poll poll by blondiex2, 900 days ago)
Yes, its normal - and just wait to see how well you hold it in another 8 weeks ;)36

Name-poll poll I am 28 weeks and 2 days today. It seems like the minute I hit seventh months, my third trimester, that its been rougher. I am especially worried tonight though. I`m having quite a lot of braxton hicks, and I`m feeling a lot of pressure. I`m thinking that the pressure is because the baby is already head down, and that its normal. My question is, is it a concern to have this many contractions (about 4 in one hour) if they arent strong at all? They feel the same as they usually do, not painful, but its accompanied by the pressure. My doctor also only measures my belly, she never does a pelvic so I`m worried that if I am starting to dialate early that she wouldnt have even been aware of it at my doctors appointment yesterday since she doesnt check. If you could please leave comments on 1)whether or not you think this is of concern and 2)if you also started feeling irregular, but often BH in your third trimester but later on you knew when it was the REAL thing. Im waiting for my doctor to call me back so if you mommies could help i would really appreciate it!

Go to the hospital if you are having that many contractions, dont keep waiting for your doctor to call you back4

Neither - doesnt sound like its nothing to worry about, but also not an emergency yet. drink water and lay down and dont stress out and if that doesnt help THEN go to hospital14

Baby-poll poll If you already have a boy, did you circumcise your son? And if you do not already have a son, do you know if you will or will not circumcise your son? I thought that it was extremely common in the U.S., but I`ve been reading up on it and it says only about 50% of boys get circumcised now (compared to say 20 or 30 years ago). And if you did or didn`t, what were the reasons you chose to do it or not do it? I`m 26 weeks pregnant with a boy, and I`m still not sure on what is the best decision. I know it varies from family to family on what is best for US, but I`d just like to get your advice anyway! :)

Pregnancy-poll poll For ALL Moms: How far along were you when your belly button popped out? Did it ever pop out? Also, do you remember how many weeks were in between your belly button coming out to be even with the rest of your belly (not an innie anymore but not popping out) and when it finally popped out? I`m almost 25 weeks and mine is absolutely not an innie anymore, but it hasnt popped out yet.
(Pregnancy-poll poll by blondiex2, 933 days ago)
Mine became "not an innie" but not yet popped out, and then later on popped out. (will comment to say how much later on)4

Pregnancy-poll poll Okay, anybody else have maternity clothes issues? I went to a few different stores to look just for pants, because I`m 24 weeks and fit into a lot of my loose fitting summer tank tops very easily. Anyway, I tried on a size two and it was nice because they weren`t tight on my belly, but.. they were HUGE on my legs. I mean, they were supposed to be capris and they were down to my ankles (and I have really long legs) and they were so loose! I`m not even super tiny, I`m about 5`5 and 130 lbs! I don`t even do make-up that often anymore now that I`m pregnant, but I`d still like to look decent. Where can I find some actual cute, normal fitting maternity clothes?

Pregnancy-poll poll For mommies-to-be at 20 weeks or more, mommies who remember being 20 weeks, or anyone who just started feeling kicking in the last two weeks. I am 20 weeks and 6 days, and started feeling kicking about 12 days ago. The baby kicks so hard sometimes my belly sticks out very far. Then, the next day I will only feel small flutters all day. Does the kicking vary (how much and how strong) for all of you mommies that just started feeling it too?
(Pregnancy-poll poll by blondiex2, 960 days ago)
Yes. It varies and I think it is all okay and as long as you are still feeling it, then just enjoy it!51

It's normal to feel stronger sometimes than others, but not normal to feel less kicking some days than others.2
