A 3 year old shot himself in the head near me, it was ruled accidental but what do you think should happen to the parents? The father is a cop and the mother is a former marine who had planned on reenlisting after college as a officer. This is not ment to upset any friends of the family that are on here, I think the media is being to harsh on them actually, I`m just wondering what people think about the issue of children dying as a result of a parent`s `carelessness`.

What do you use to wash your counters? I`ve been using these professional cloths my FIL gave us from his work but we`re running low. I think it`s disgusting to use rags or sponges, what else is out there?

Do you think the environment a child is raised in leads them to making bad choices? One of my friends started sleeping around when she was 13 and got in trouble with the law a lot, she blames it on being raised in a rough environment, but I was raised that way too and I never got into trouble.

Not baby related, but does anyone know if the BBB (business bureau) really does anything if you file a report with them? I bought something and just found out they rip people off by taking the money for the items, actually using the shipping charges to pay for `shipping` and give you a legit tracking number with USPS then never ship it out and keep the money from the items. I just don`t want to waste my time filing a report if they won`t do anything anyways.

Not baby related, and kinda dumb question...but can you train your eyes to have better eye sight? Normally if I don`t wear my glasses or contacts I`m literally blind, but since I had my baby I noticed my eye sight isn`t as bad and I can actually read whats on the computer screen and whatnot. If I keep my glasses off will my eye sight adjust to the point where I won`t need them?

I bought Gerber apple juice for my LO, do I have to water it down? On the website it said start at 6 months with 2 oz per day and work your way up but it said nothing about watering it down or not.

Last week a girl from my hometown was kidnapped, and so far no one has come forward to say they have a missing child or anything like that, so they only know what the girl was wearing and what the men (none of them we`re the girls father and there was 3 of them) looked like that kidnapped her based off witnesses descriptions. When/If the men who took her are found and the parents are also found out, do you think they should get the same sentance as the kidnappers?

How much should I ask for this breast pump? It`s the Medela pump in style advance, it`s $280 at Target. I only time I really used it for the week my LO was in the NICU. I wasn`t going tto include the shields, tubes or bottles for health reasons but I`m including the cooler, ice pack, wall charger and travel battery charger. My husband said ask $150 but I wasn`t sure.

My milk came back in, I haven`t breastfed in 2-3 months so don`t know how that happened. If I pump will it get rid of the milk that is in there without bringing back a full supply? BFing again is out of the question, my LO won`t take to it.

Has anyone else gotten REALLY hungry a few months after your LO was born? I know for a fact I`m not pregnant, my SIL had a thyroid issue after my neice was born and ate alot too, is that probably what I have? Like I eat a meal and a hour later I`m starving, which is wierd since I only eat 1 or 2 meals a day and I`m fine.

What can I do about diapers that leak at night? My LO sleeps through the night and I don`t want to wake her up half way through to change her diaper. I`ve thought about doubling up diapers but that`d be too uncomfortable for her. I used Pampers Swaddlers by the way.
