My 5 week old will only sleep for about an hour and a half then wake up screaming hungry and eats for about an hour. I`m thinking about supplementing with formula but I don`t want to stop breastfeeding. Has anyone else had this problem, is it normal for hum to be that hungry? Will formula help?

For breastfeeding mothers: My 3 week old has been staying on my breast until he falls asleep so I pick him up to burp him and he screams because he`s still hungry so I feed him again and that goes on for about 2-3 HOURS. Is this normal? It`s really frusterating and he hurts me when he starts falling asleep because he pulls at my nipple. Please help!!

For breastfeeding mothers: I have been breastfeeding for about 2 weeks now and my nipples are in a lot of pain. It feels like they`re raw and on fire when he`s not eating and itchy when he`s eating. Is this normal? If so, does it go away???
