I think with all the posting issues IAP needs to appoint someone to verify all pictures, polls, questions, etc that are posted by new members. Sure, it`ll probably make things slower, but something needs to be done! Many websites have this installed and IAP needs it as well. Members that have been on the site for a certain time can be exempt, but if you are a new member, posts should be monitored. I`m going to copy this suggestoin to Laura and if you agree you should too!! :)

My DD will be 3 in Feb and she is still in diapers and still has a soother. A little background; Brooklyn is a *very* strong-willed child, very dramatic, very loud. I feel like we`re constantly disciplining her because she`s just so into everything, I often try to pick my battles. I was talking with my neighbor today who has two grown children, she said I should just take the soother away (she is VERY attached to it) and just not make diapers an option (she`s gone on the potty and the big toilet many times but lately she just cries that she wants a diaper). Am I being too soft? I never wanted to make potty training a `negative` experience, but now that she`s almost 3, should I basically force her to potty train? And force her to give up the soother? (NOT at the same time, obviously, lol!)

I bathe my 2 DDs at the same time, when my 15month old is done I take her out and dry her off, put her diaper on, get her dressed. would you take your LO to the dr? DD had a 101F fever Tues evening, seemed okay but just tired, the night was alright after we gave her some ibuprofen. Wed she went to daycare (no fever) but she had a red rash, like a ring around her mouth, it was still there when she came home from daycare. Last night she was a little extra whiney but went to bed alright but had a slight complaint about her hand having an `owie`, couldn`t see anything wrong with it though. Through the night she woke up and came into our bed and complained almost all night about her hands and feet, she was itching them and I had to keep rubbing them, finally she fell asleep for good. I went to work before anyone got up so I`m not sure how she`s doing this morning. Does this sound like hand, foot and mouth? She had HFM last summer but had visible sores in her mouth, I also remember the Dr didn`t give her any medications.. Does this sound serious enough to go through the trouble of taking her in to the Dr or is it okay to wait a few days and see if it clears up on it`s own? (I live outside the city and it`s a pain to take her to her ped) She`ll be 3 in Feb by the way...

When would you start TTC? We`re thinking about trying for a 3rd, born late fall next year but def not in Aug (too many Aug babies in our family!) Conceiving in Nov would give us an Aug baby. Canadians: I just found out that only certain provinces have a law that babies under 1 are required to be rear facing! I thought that was the law across Canada! Pink Eye: There was a comment made in a previous poll about pink eye, that a mother would be furious if her child contracted pink eye from another child who was out when they were contagious. Many other responses were similar to this and I have to say I`m surprised. To my, pink eye is not a big deal, if my kids are going to catch something I`d rather it be pink eye over something worse...How do you feel? Do you think women today are a little *too* outspoken? I mean to the point of being in your face and rude? I`m specifying women because it doesn`t seem men have changed in this regard. In `real life` and on here I`m seeing more and more women `speaking their mind` to the point of being abrasive but thinking they`re in the right because they`re speaking up for themselves and that`s all that matters.....
