My baby got a bunch of beany babies at my shower. I want him to be able to play with them, but the giver said not to take the tags off because they`d lose their $ value. I am not really a collector of these sorts of things, are beanie babies still a collector`s item? Or is it a bunch of hype? They are so cute, I want to cut the tags off so my little guy can enjoy them.
