i am 27 weeks and was in a minor car accident on monday. had doc appt tues and heartbeat was ok but i havent really been feeling much movement since then. ive been told maybe i should go to the hospital to be monitored. my question is, if i decide to do this would i go to the ER or labor and delivery?

so my husband became an american citizen at 3 years old. he was just told today that as a naturalized citizen he had to carry his passport with him at all times (even in the us) is this true? he`s lived here his whole life and never once been asked to show a passport unless entering or exiting the country.

my first 3 pregnancies (boy, girl, boy) were very, very similar...the only difference i can recall is that for some reason i noticed my stomach got hairier with my boys. this pregnancy is COMPLETELY different from any of my other ones, so i have nothing to make a gender guess on except that my stomach isnt hairy. you ladies wanna comment on my crazy observations

so my hubby was asking me questions about the placenta and umbilical cord, he asked me a question i had never thought of before: does the placenta have the mom`s blood type or the baby`s blood type? what about the cord? i told him that i assume the placenta is the mothers blood type and the cord is the baby`s...anybody know?

i am only 10 weeks and i have been having really consistant cramping in my lower abdomen all day but no bleeding. i know it is normal to have `growing pains` as the uterus stretches but this is my 4th baby and i dont remember them lasting this long or being this constant. its just a little un-nerving since i havent experienced this with the others. should i be worried?

i never had a c- section so maybe im being unsympathetic but what do you guys think: my friend tried for a vaginal birth after 2 c-sections. it was unsuccessful and her uterus ended up rupturing. i planned 3 weeks of meals for her so that she would be able to worry about getting better and taking care of her girls and what not. it turns out she had asked another one of our friends to plan 6 weeks (yes 6!) of all day child care for her 4 and 2 year old, house cleaning and errand running. now like i said, ive never had to recover from a csection but it seems like other people are able to take care of thier own kids after they have them.

i got the flu yesterday, high fever throwing up body aches etc. i have a 3 year old and 20 mo. old and a 4 week old who i am nursing. my question is should i stay away from the baby so he doesnt get sick too or does nursing him make him less likely to get sick?

I am wondering what you all think of my plan to inducel. my husband will be working out of the country when i am due so i was hoping to get induced 2 weeks early (both my other children were born at38 weeks) so that my husband could be there for the birth and a week afterwards before going back. what do yu think?

good idea! dad needs to be there and you need help with 3 kids under 3	43		57%

my sister in law is 7 months pregnant and so huge she cant even get out of bed by herself. she is only 4.5 ft tall so it makes a difference as to how she carries but still i think that her skin may rip open. seriously! has anyone else needed help up or actually had their skin start to tear? ive heard stretch marks can rip.

I am thinking of getting a 4d ultrasound so that my hubby can have a picture of the baby while he is working 3000 miles away for 6 months, however the u/s would be pretty early probably about 16 17 weeks.do you think that would be a waste of money cuz it would just look like a blob?
