The dishes are still in the sink. Dirty laundry is piled high. Somehow the entire day, seemed to just fly by. I made a `to-do` list. I meant to follow through. But there were other tasks, that needed attention too. Like cheering on my daughter, as she took first steps into my arms, making sure she stayed safe, from all potential harms. Cuddling on the couch, and reading a favorite story. Helping her explore the world, and marvel at all its glory. So the chores will have to wait. they aren`t that important anyway. Alright. I gave birth and the labor was the best expierience. Afterwards however was awful. If you were wrongfully accused of testing postive for PCP and even after it came back as an error on the hospitals behalf and then DYFS (child protective services) has to investigate you, go to your house, get background checks on your parents because the hospital reported you to them (like I said even though you, the baby and your urine sampe were actually negative for drugs) along side with your child being in the Intensive Care Unit.... WHAT WOULD YOU DO?!?

so I was watching wifeswap the other day. There was a family that was on a strictley raw meat diet (chicken and beef i didnt see pork... and also aged raw meat) and also never cleans there house (only with vinegar) because they said that all of the bacteria was good for them. Have you heard of this type of lifestyle? What is your take on it? Also comment if you saw the show.

i am 6 days away from my due date, yesterday i had some abdominal pain/cramping that went away. Today I feel as thought I am coming down with a cold (slight sore throat and runny nose) did any of you have a cold before labor? Could it be a sign it is near or just coincidence?

My SO has a son in which he has joint custody of. His son lives with his mother. He is 13 and says his mom is going to take him this weekend to get snakebites (a piercing on each side of the bottom lip)... Can she do this without his fathers permission? How would you feel in this scenerio?

i am 31 weeks preggo. Im having discomfort at the top of my belly, the only thing i can compare it to is mild cramps. Did anyone else have this? I don`t think its contractions because i thought you felt them in your lower abdomen.. but i have no idea never had a contraction.. I do have a doc appointment tomorrow.. what do you think?

Alright I need to rephrase this poll. what happens if you are on unemployment (not working) and to collect you must be willing and able to work. This is just something i was wondering. What happens if say another child seriously injures your child, not neccessarily on porpuse though. IE: child throws something at your child and his in face. You feel your child need to go to the ER. Do you pay the bill? Do the parents of the child who injured your child pay the bill? Whats your take?

My friend who is 8 months preggo has really horrible back pain, to the point where she can hardley walk. Her doctor prescribed her Percoset to take for this. I was under the impression that any narcotic during pregnancy is a big no no.. but i looked it up online and a lot of pregnant women are given this for back pain, kidney stones and such.. do you have any expierience or info on this?

Before you had your baby did you have a terrible nightmare involving your newborn? mine was I was feeding my baby and i looked down and the bottle had fallen apart in her mouth and little pieces were stuck in her throat. She wasnt breathing and I had to do mouth to mouth. Then someone came in and saved her but was so incredibly upset... annnd i always have dreams about breast feeding. She said `well you know its okay for pregnant women to have a beer or drink just as long as they dont get drunk` She said there has been studies yadda yadda yadda saying that it won`t harm the baby as long as you don`t get drunk. Not that I am taking her advice or would even risk this... but what are your thoughts on such a comment? And UK women.. she also said that women in the UK usually have a drink with dinner and its us Americans who go crazy on the Fetal Alcohol syndrome.. please comment about UK beliefs and traditions.

alright ladies i need some advice on this one. I am 21 weeks preggo and sometimes i get like a throbbing inside my vagina... sorry if this is TMI but to give you a better picture it feels like throbbing in where you would insert a tampon.. has anyone had this? i go to the docs tomorrow for an ultrasound so the will measure my cervix.. just has anyone had this? whats your advice?

If you remember my poll a week or two ago my girlfriend is having trouble with her 17 year old girl. It`s just like one thing after the other. We found out she pulled some sneaky crap the past two days and its just like lies after lies. Her mother wants to move to her Delaware house but is staying in jersey so her daughter can finish her last year of school. Her mom hates it here but is just doing it for her daughter. My point of view is why are you staying if she isn`t doing anything to show theres anything worth staying for? Like she isn`t proving she deserves to stay another year by all the bad things she is doing. I don`t know, what do you think?

I just read that the vaccine Gardasil (to prevent cervical cancer) has some nasty side affects. It made someone i know sick and her blood stream was full of metal. She had to go on a metal detox diet and was extremely sick. This is actually starting to happen to a lot of girls. Would you still vaccine your daughter with this knowing how sick it would make you? If you don`t catch it in time it can kill you.

So my girlfriends 17 year old daughter has really been getting into trouble for about the past three months. Its just like one thing after the other. Her mother went to Delaware this weekend and i went over to the house to get a key from her for our work. I walked in there was beer cans everywhere two people in the girls bed (both girls) and then i went to her moms room with her daughter another girl and a 21 year old boy in her bed. Then that night I walked to 7-11 to get milk and bananas and i see her moms car pull off down the street. The girl does not have her lisence yet! I called and told her mother all about this, what kind of punishment would you come up with? I say dont let her get her lisence but she used that punishment before, so it needs to be in addition to not getting her lisence.
