My son was born full term and at 6 weeks was diagnosed with an immature suck swallow breath causing him to gag and choke on his milk. Everything i have looked up talks only about premies with this problem. There is nothing else wrong with him as he has had many tests, x-rays, scope down throat, ultrasound of the brain, MRI of the base of the brain, he has seen a genetisit as well as numerous bloodtests and they can not find anything wrong with him. Has anyone else had a baby with feeding problems causing aspiration?

Please HELP! When i brought my baby home from the hospital i was b/f anfd he was choking during a 40 minute once or twice i was told it was most likely a good milk supply and that he would adjust to the flow. He seemed to cause he stopped having the choking spells and then when he was almost a month old he came down with thrush and they gave me medicine for it that night he started choking on every 2nd or 3rd gulp. I took him to the hospital where we have been for a week. We have done many tests, and the swallow test shows that the milk is going the windtube but no idea why. He is getting an MRI done to see if it is some kind of syndrome but he is perfectly healthy in every other way. Anyone have any experiance with this has it happened to you?

My newborn has thrush and i am nursing the doctor gave us medicine that turns the babies mouth purple and my nipples. Anyone have any advive on thrush? And how long after you are done taking the medicine will the babies mouth be purple?

I had a c-section and was home for about 6 days the bleeding turned to black and was almost gone then all of a sudden i woke up in the middle of the night and had gushes of blood and clots come out. Is this normal or has it happened to anyone else? I thought the bleeding had gone away and now it is heavy again and it is dark.
