anyone have any suggestions about how to help a 10 month old stay still during a diaper change. I find it always a fight to keep him in spot and leaves him cranky for a while after...I have already tried giving him toy!

Does anyone have any baby-proofing ideas for the electric baseboard heaters....I can`t cover them with furnature in the winter and thats when im most worried about... The baby could get burned!

Another question about babies sleeping through the night. With my youngest son I didn`t do anything special to help him sleep through the night. honestly it was a shock I wasn`t expecting it. All I did was keep up a bit of a routine. Let me know what you think works and doesn`t work. I want to hear your opinions so please comment

When do you think solid food (baby cereal) should be started? In Ontario the Doctors say 6 months. Just wondered what people are told in diffrent places around the world.

This is kind of a long question so bare with me. I have a 8 yr old and a 2 month old. My parents smoke. I have made it very clear that I do not want them smoking around my kids. Now my 2 month old is only around them and when I am around and they always smoke outside. My 8 year old son likes to go over on weekends every one in awhile ( maybe once every month or two). My parents have promised that they wont smoke around him but on more then one occasion they have smoked around him. I smell it on his clothes. And when confronted my mother admits it. Now I feel like I`m in the position where I can`t send him there anymore when I am not around. What do I do?

has anyone had any issues with there baby`s head going a little flat from sleeping in the same position. I bottlefeed and i never thought it would be an issue to feed him on the same side... now the side of his head is a little mis-shapen and flat. I`ve started switching sides hoping that the head evens out. Is that enough to fix this problem? any suggestions?
