My almost 3 year old puts *everything* in his mouth. He is always sucking on something; toys, random stuff he finds on the ground, books, tv remotes...today he unplugged the fan in his room and was sucking on the plug EEK! He has all of his teeth (confirmed by the dentist). Does anyone else`s toddler do this? It`s driving me nuts. Oh, and we took the binky away a year ago.

Is there anyone who has had appendicitus? Could you please explain to me what your symptoms were. I called my doc and they told me to call back if it got worse. Also, I`m 9 weeks PP and have never had period cramps before so I don`t know if that`s what this is or not. I have pain in my left side above my hip bone. It`s tender to the touch and hurts to bend over or get up from a laying position. It`s been going on for about 5 days now.

Quinn had an internal heartrate monitor placed in her softspot during labor. It ended up leave a large impression, almost like a hole, in her head. It`s about the size of a piece of popcorn and still hasn`t closed up. My ped said it might need stitches but she`s already 7 weeks old and it looks healed to me. Have any of you experienced this?

Kason had his 15 month appointment today and they said he needs to gain more weight. He`s 31.5 inches and 23.4lbs. He looks like a little chunker to me! They said they are concerned because he`s only in the 25th percentile for his weight. Mind you he`s a VERY active little boy and eats all the time. What do you think?

We`re due with our last baby in a few weeks. I`ve always had a portable-open top swing but rarely used it because it ate through batteries so fast and they babies never looked very comfortable in it. Walmart is having a sale on the Fisher Price `My little lamb` cradle swing, $99 (they`re usually $150). So my question is this: Should I buy the swing even though this is our last baby? Would it be a good investment?

Potty Training: My 2.5 YO has been peeing in the potty for about 4 days now and has very few (pee) accidents BUT he won`t poop in the potty. He understands that poop isn`t supposed to go in his underwear (he poops once a day, usually in the morning). I`m just wondeing how long it usually takes for them to get the concept of pooping in the potty?

My husband is being transfered to Boston, MA on the 12th of July and I`m due on the 30th of June. Our household goods are due to be picked up on the 7th of July. This is my 3rd baby; my first son was induced at 36 weeks due to Pre-E and my second son was induced at 39+6 due to big size. Both times I was 2-3 cm dialated. My question is this: With a 3rd baby when did you deliver? I`m so freaked out that i`m going to overdue and have no where to live, lol
