missyv28`s polls

Ok need some advice. My 2 year old is sick with typical fever cough etc. His cough is a dry cough and he just goes through these coughing spells because his throat gets so dry and his throat is so irritated from coughing so much. We have a humidifier for him but does anyone know of any natural remedies I can use to sooth his throat since we aren`t supposed to give meds yet. Thx!

My DH is heated so I decided to get opinions. His mom or my MIL watches our son during the day 2-3 days a week. For some reason when we need to call her during the day for any reason she NEVER answers the phone. We literally have to call about 20 times on the house phone and her cell phone before she answers. Everytime she answers she always gives a ton of excuses why she didn`t answer and than NEVER apologizes. This is an on going issue no matter how mad we get or what we tell her. We are at our last straw. What would you do? My son is now 2.

I said I would so here it goes. We have a 4 bedroom house. A master, guest, office, and my sons room. I want the new baby to share a room with our 2 year old because I think they will both like it. My DH wants them to have seperate rooms because we have the space. We have been argueing this for awhile now. What should I do?

ok, trying this again...I wanted to get my son a gift for his second birthday in February and I let everybody know what this gift would be so no duplicates. This weekend my mother in law who I told what I was getting says she got the same exact gift for Christmas. Has this happened to you? How did you feel and what did you do about it?
