Other-poll poll My mother and I are still butting heads about this guy I`m seeing. No matter what I say, in her eyes, I`m dating a married man... He has been separated for 4 1/2 years, she cheated on him, he kicked her out and she now has a child with the guy she cheated with but because they`re not divorced, in her eyes, it`s still wrong. Now this is the woman who embraced her single daughter`s pregnancy with open arms, who has agreed with my personal indifference towards marriage (I have never been one to dream of weddings/marriage and she`s supported my belief that you don`t have to be married to be in a committed relationship).

Other-poll poll I`m about 1/4 through Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows... Until now I`ve wondered why there`s been so many comparisons between the Harry Potter and Twilight series, as to me they`re written very differently (Harry Potter a real coming of age journey and fight of good vs evil, whereas Twilight is essentially a romance in a paranormal setting) BUT I can`t help but wonder if Stephenie Meyer was perhaps `inspired` with some sub-plots and characters? To me they`re far too similar to be a coincidence...
(Other-poll poll by mumbo, 8 days ago)
No I don't think these sub plots have been ripped off by Stephenie Meyer, it's just a coincidence because they're both set in a paranormal setting6

Yes, I agree that certain sub-plots and characters in Twilight seem to be inspired by Harry Potter5

Other-poll poll Have you ever had a nightmare where your child died? I had one last night (I haven`t had a nightmare for about 13 years) and it has plagued my day, and when I told my mum, she said she had one years ago about me and it took her months to stop thinking about it, and having a feeling of panic about it...

Other-poll poll If you`re single or have been a single parent in the past, have you ever dealt with resistance from your parent/s? I have never had to deal with disapproving parents before, and I haven`t dated anyone since my son was born, but I`ve met someone I quite like and my parents are flipping out! Mum especially... :(
