okay so I believe I lost my mucus plug this morning... but im not having any contractions! is this normal or i didn`t lose my mucus plug?

ok...i was sittin on my bed putting my babys clothes in his dresser and when i stood up i felt wet... i looked at where i was sittign and it was wet so i changed underclothes and wiped and it was thick but looked like it had blood mixed in it... i am 39 weeks and 5 days preggo... what could this be? sorry if TMI!
