My 6 month old is going in for an MRI on wednesday to check for hydrocephalis (sp?) and a possible spinal abnormality. I`m a dirty dirty mess of anxiety and stress. Have any of your little ones had an MRI, I know they`re supposed to be safe, but somehow it would just help to hear it first hand from someone else that their baby grew up fine after having one. Also, any ideas to help allevieate some of these feelings?

How long did it take before your LO’s hair was curly? My dd had really curly hair in the beginning, and it seems to be “uncurling,” but my mom said it took a while before mine got curly. I have really curly hair and my dh has curly to wavy hair. She’s 9.5 months. Please comment on time frames. TIA!

Does anybody else have a problem with the whole “Disney Princess” thing with little girls? I just don’t want my daughter growing up thinking she should be sitting around looking pretty, singing songs, and waiting for prince charming. I think it encourages girls to be materialistic and have their head up the clouds and focus on love too much and too early. I purposely only gave two options because I`m curious to see which side your lean towards

Just the other day I found myself looking forward to labor and delivery... just to get to experience the whole process that enables the existence of the human race.
