Looking for your opinions on eye creams. For very fine lines under the eye. They`re not yet visible other than right up by the mirror under a bright light, but I want to stop them in their tracks! lol. I`ve heard the garnier roller thing is good. And a friend swears by Olay total effects eye transforming cream. Any recommendations from you girls? I was also told by an older lady to put a beaten egg on and let it dry, lol. Hmmm.

My daughter got a rash a week or so ago. i thought it was a reaction to the walmart pull ups because we had just started using them. so we started using huggies. But the rash just won`t go away. It has spread a little bit to her tummy. It doesnt seem to bother her at all. Doesnt itch, doesnt hurt. We`ve given her benadryl a few times and it doesnt seem to help it. we dont know what to do! I`m probably going to take her to the doctor tomorrow, although I have no idea what they could do that we havent tried. does anyone have any idea what this could be or how to get rid of it?? Oh, and she`s 2. I have a pic on my phone but I`m not sure how to put it in the poll! lol.

Has anyone`s lo gotten a rash from the walmart `white cloud` pull ups or the elastic in toddler fruit of the loom undies? we started potty training my lo a couple of weeks ago and i bought size 2-3 of the pull ups. at the same time we bought the undies. she got a little welt on her side like something was rubbing so we thought the pull ups were too small. but then she started getting a small rash in the front. i started to think it was the elastic on the undies because of where it was. so we stopped using the undies and bought size 4 pullups. now there appears to be a rash coming off of the welt (which still hasnt healed). im going to buy huggies pull ups today but im wondering if anyone has had this problem?

My sister forwarded me a link today that I found really interesting. Particularily, because I have a friend whose toddler is currently being tested for autism. Thought some of you ladies might be interested. My 2 year old is so mean to my husband. She always (and I mean ALWAYS) wants me instead of him. It really hurts his feelings and I`m not sure what to do about it. He`s an extremely involved father and spends tons of time with our girls. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this better? Not baby related. I am currently bleach blonde and want to go back to chocolate brown (my original hair color). I had a stylist recently that was double processing my hair and severely damaged it. I`ve been trying to decide the best way to go back to brown. One salon said they would fill and then apply permanent dye (this is what I expected), but that the dyes are a little harsh. Another said that they would use demi permanent and that it`s not harsh at all, but that it would take several applications to hold. What to do??

Have them fill and apply permanent color. It may be slightly damaging but it will at least hold. (I was actually told that it will take a few applications of this for it to hold too)	1		14%

So my two year old is going through a `thing`. lol. Or I hope it`s just a thing! Oh my goodness, she whines constantly!! And she`s mad about everything we do. It doesn`t matter what it is. I could offer her a cookie and she`d start whining and crying and screaming no at me! What is with this?? Is this normal? Will it ever end?? How do I help it on it`s way?? I need confident words of wisdom :) I was about ready to start trying for another before this started. Now I`m feeling like I couldn`t handle it right now!

Another potty training question. Okay, so Gracie does `okay` with using the potty. We keep her in underwear all day. She does have accidents, but she also has many successes in the potty. We are definitely still leaving her in a diaper over night. But what about naps? I`m torn. I really don`t think that she`d wake up to use the potty. And what about leaving the house? My Dad watches her during the day so I really don`t want him to have to deal with a lot of accidents while they`re out (he also watches our 1 year old) and I know that she would have accidents. But I feel like if we keep putting a diaper on her, she`s going to get confused. What do you ladies think?

My two year old has recently become interested in the potty. She goes on it here and there through out the day and of course, we reward her. She is going through a phase where she gets out of bed several times each night and we have to put her back. She`s become very tricky lately and everytime she gets out, says she has to go potty. So yesterday, Gracie (24 months) kept scratching her head like it was itching really bad. I assumed that maybe we didn`t get all of the shampoo out the night before because she fights us when we try to rinse. So I took her and rewashed her hair and made sure to rinse really well. At first it seemed to help. But then she started itching again. I looked over her scalp, there is no redness, no dandruff, no bugs (eww). What could it be???

Okay, so it seems the verdict of most ladies is to go professional. On to the next question. How long before our vay-cay should I have it done? Is it possible that the skin will be irritated for awhile (red or spots, etc)? Should I make sure I go at least a week or so in advance?

I am looking for a few different things that will be necessary for our vacation. One - I would like some sort of trays for the girls car seats so that they can color, play, etc. Two - The bottom of our stroller does not have enough room for our diaper bags, etc. I need either hooks to carry bags, or maybe some sort of attachment that could hold all of our stuff . . . Okay ladies, I need some opinions. I have been trying like crazy to find a cute and comfortable pair of sandals for the summer. We are going on vacation to Florida and I want something that I can wear every day walking around with my little ones that won`t give me tons of blisters. My favorite pair of comfy sandals just died on me last month :( Anyway, I only ever wear cute shoes no matter what. lol. I always have to have at least a little heel. I DON`T do flats. I have already bought 3 pairs of sandals and all of them tear my feet up! I don`t want to waste any more money!!! Ahhh! Anyway, I had heard that crocs are sooo comfortable but I think they`re so ugly. But I went to their site, and they have some pairs that actually just look like slip ons with a little heel and are pretty cute. So what do you ladies think? Should I give them a try? Are they likely to be comfy because they`re crocs. Does anyone own a pair? (Not the regular crocs, the cute platform type ones).

Okay, since I`ve been pregnant my period symptoms have completely changed and I`m now wondering if it`s normal, or a problem that I should get checked. My tummy is so sore. Like, sore to the touch on the outside? And if I push on it, OUCH! I am in crazy pain all over in my lower belly. To the point that I could barely sleep through it this morning. I used to have almost no discomfort with my period (was one of the lucky ones), but I know that others do. So is this normal for some?

Some of the ladies asked that I update again when I knew more about lovemyfamily and baby Evalee. She is doing amazing and is being called `the star of the nicu` by her doctors :) She does have two small holes in her heart due to the extra work to supply blood flow to the tumor. Her heart is enlarged for the same reasons. The doctors are hoping that the holes will heal themselves as her heart shrinks back down. Her blood pressure has been a little low so they are adjusting her medication. But overall, she is a true miracle and I have to say that the power of prayer can`t have hurt any ; ) So please keep praying for her heart to heal quickly!

I wanted to update any of you ladies who have been keeping up with lovemyfamily and little Evalee, and ask you to please pray for sweet Evalee. She was born the night before last by c section. She made it to 30 weeks! She is currently in surgery to have the tumor removed. So far things seem to be going well, but it is a very long surgery and she could use a lot of positive thinking and prayers sent her way! Thanks ladies :)

Not pregnancy related. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a good way to get out of a cell phone contract. Our phones and service is horrible, but I am really not trying to pay our way out! Ideas?

It would be $190 to get both my husband and I out of the contract.	5		29%
Or, we could bump down to the cheapest plan, $63.00 or so per month. And then sign up with Verizon for their cheapest plan for around $60 per month and pay $120/month until we can get out of our at&t plan (we are currently paying about $95/month). But, by doing this we can get our new phones with Verizon, we'd just have to watch our minutes.	2		11%

Okay, so we are going to Florida this summer for a family reunion. It happens that Gracie will be turning two while we are there. We are going to take her to a park, ( I know, I know, she`s too young, wait till she`s older, blah, blah, blah, lol.) We are going to be there anyway, so it`s not like we`re wasting an expensive trip to Orlando. Anyway, we are deciding between taking her to Sea World or the Magic Kingdom. Hubby and I were pretty much decided that Sea World was the better choice for a two year old. Well, then I started googling around and pretty much everyone says that the Magic Kingdom is not only the better choice, but the perfect place for a two year old . . . Well, anyway, I want you ladies opinions :)

Question for those in the U.S. How do you recommend filing your taxes? I have always gone to a tax preparer. We pay about $100 to have it done. But all of my friends are saying to use the free turbo tax and that we would get the same results. What do you ladies think? (Oh, and we just have the basics, 2 kids, a house, 2 jobs, some student loan interest)

Not baby related. I think I need to try a different foundation. I am 27 years old and have been using the same stuff for years. I just don`t feel like it`s providing enough coverage lately. I would love some suggestions of what you girls use to make your skin look flawless!

My question is an extension off of the last poll. I am also about to start potty training my daughter. The problem is that I work full time, so it will be up to my father (her Papa) to handle the potty training. I am going to have to give him detailed instructions on how to do this. For those who`ve potty trained, what would you tell him? He also has another baby at home to take care of so it`s going to be difficult. Should I use training pants, or go right to big girl panties?

Those of you with babies around 12 - 16 months or who have older children and have been through this before, my daughter who is 15 months old has started having temper tantrums. She`s also been very whiny lately. I want to teach her that this behavior is inappropriate but I`m lost on how to do this so that she will understand. So what do you think we should do?

For breastfeeding mothers. I have been told that if you have a drink, you need to wait 2 hours to feed again. And that it`s 2 hours per drink. How exactly does this work?

If I have a drink at 8 and one at 9 then I have to wait 4 hours from 9 to feed. So I can feed again at 1.	3		30%
I have to wait 2 hours from the drink at 8 which would have been 10. But since I had another drink at 9, I have to wait 2 hours from that drink which is 11.	3		30%
Basically, I am wondering is it 2 hours from each individual drink. Or do I need to wait 2 hours times the total number of drinks and take it from the time I had the last drink . . . ?	1		10%

Where should we have my daughter`s first birthday party?

At our house even though it is very, very small and would probably be crowded.	15		27%
