Is anyone else naming their child something they don`t like very well, to compromise with their husband? (My son`s name is probably going to be Tyler Mathias as a first and middle name. I like Tyler, but not Mathias. Everyone I say it to looks at me funny too. He wouldn`t even think about any decent first names until I compromised with him on the middle name. I think I`m going with it though to make him happy. It is his child too after all.)

Has anyone else had contractions that were one on top of the other (like 3-5 in a row w/ no breaks) after been given Pitocin for induction?

Yes...Pitocin made my contractions irregular and I didn't have breaks in b/w many contractions.
No...Pitocin didn't cause that problem for me.
No, but I've heard of this happening to other people.

My Aunt wants to have me a baby shower, but I`m unsure about it. This is my second baby, but this time it`s a boy. I feel awkward accepting gifts from family and friends who just gave generously 3 years ago for my daughter.

Is anyone else having trouble posting comments on the polls? I type in my response, click `add`, and then I`m seeing no comments on the page or even another poll all together. Can anyone suggest a good double-stroller for a 3 year old toddler and an infant? Also, which do you think is better: side by side or front and back strollers? Please comment on a brand name and type of stroller you suggest.

What do you think is the chance that I will tear again or have an episiotomy with my 2nd birth, after having torn badly with my first? (Comment if you have had experiences with this.)

Yes...There's a strong chance of tearing/episiotomy needing stiches again
No...There's no likely chance.
Maybe...Who knows what will happen the 2nd time around.

Do any of you have pain in your tailbone and right butt cheek - probably from your sciatic nerve? Have you found anything that really helps the pain? My pain is worse when I lay flat on my back, or am on my feet for a long time. Sometimes I get a sharp, stabbing pain in my right butt cheek from it and I almost want to cry out. I`m only 16 wks right now, but I had some pain like this w/my first preg. It`s so much worse now! HELP! Any suggestions?!

Yes...I have this pain and it's awful!
No...I've been lucky so far!
Kind of...My lower back hurts some, but nothing like that.

For those of you with hypothryroidism, did you gain a lot of weight during your pregnancy? Did you have trouble losing it after delivery? I didn`t gain too much with my 1st preg, and so far so good on this one. However, I did have trouble with putting weight back on a few months after birth. As you may know, it`s normal for your thyroid levels to change - especially during and after preg. It`s hard to cope with! I was just wondering how many others have this issue and your thoughts on it. (How ofter does your dr. check your levels before and during preg. also?)
