Well, what can I say? Being a Mommy is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Hubby and I are doing great and loving every minute that we have with Baby Harleigh! She is our whole world and I dont know what I ever did without her?! Although labor didn't go as planned (Natural w/ no drugs), I cannot complain about my C-Section. Harleigh was our little breech booger and wouldn't turn around at all. I tried the ECV (External Cephalic Version), but it was not successful, which led us to the Operating Room. Nothing emergency, just that delivering a breech baby as a first child is very dangerous. So, she came a little early, but still weighed in at a healthy 7 lbs. 4 oz. and 20.5 in. long! Hope all you mommies are enjoying your little ones as much as I am!! Best wishes in your new lifelong adventures!

Hello, my name is Staci and I am happy to be here sharing my pregnancy with all of ya'll. Although I have had 2 m/c's in the past couple of years that just ruined me, I am happy to be pregnant and hopeful that 3rd time is the CHARM! I am further along that I was with either of my previous pregnancies, but still worried on a daily basis. My husband and I went to the doctor yesterday for our 2nd u/s and it was quite a success. My little one was just swinging its arms and legs about and flipping around. We got a picture, but the baby is looking at the camera so we can't see the features. I would've like a profile, but it was awesome just to see our little one! The news is out now and our families are exstatic! My prayers are with every one of you and your babies that are growing rapidly inside of you. Take care of yourselves and that baby!

Ok, So I finally decided to be optimistic and change my profile name thanks to a couple of my network friends here that told me they thought everything was going to be ok this time! Thanks again for your support and kindness. As of today, I am starting Week 13 and things are still going really good. The breast tenderness is easing which scared me at first, but I hear that is very normal once the hormones hit thier peak. I am finally starting to get my little baby bump and hope to show more in the near future. I am sure once I start showing, I will feel the exact opposite :-) Another thing is the ligament stretching that I am starting to experience. Not very fun, but I guess that has to happen in order for my baby to have room to grow and my tummy as well! My next appointment is on November 19th...in two weeks. It would be nice to find out the sex of the baby at that time, but I am not sure if the DR will attempt for that or not? Otherwise, it is always good to just be able to see the little one growing and moving about! My prayers are still with myself and everyone out there and your growing babies!

Wow! Last night was the beginning of my 14th week and I am officially in the 2nd Trimester! Also, last night was the first night that I really felt the baby flutters. I was sitting on the couch with my knees close to my chest and my feet underneath my knees when suddenly I felt what was almost like popcorn popping. :-) It was the most wonderful experience and I can't wait to feel the little one again. I know with it still being early in the pregnancy, that I will probably only feel something every few days, but I will take what I can get. My breasts are definately firming up and the tenderness is fading away. My main thing lately is just the gas pains that I have in the morning when I wake up. I believe it may be due to my prenatal vitamin. I feel better after an hour or so, so I think I can deal with it. My next Dr. appointment is one week from today and I cant wait to either see the little one or at least hear his/her heartbeat again! Prayers for myself and everyone going up regularly!

Ok, so I didn't realize that it has been over a month since I have given an update. Well, for those that do know, I still have not found out the gender of our little miracle and I am so sad :-( We went to the doctor this past Wednesday and we were able to hear the heartbeat and have a routine check-up, but my midwife told me that they don't plan to have another u/s until I am 25 weeks which seems like forever away from now. I am just glad that our little one is doing so well and I am feeling little kicks every day now! My husband has felt them too, but still not as much as he will in the coming months. I look forward to the time when we can actually see the movements as well. So, my next appointment will be a routine checkup and we will hear the heartbeat again. It seems to get stronger every appointment! Then, 2 weeks later on January 28th, we hope to find out the gender of our baby...WOOHOO! Well, enough said for now. I hope that everyone is continuing to have a wonderful pregnancy and I wish you all the Happiest of Holidays in the coming weeks! My prayers continue with you.
