Hi Everyone!

I am 18 weeks and 4 days pregnant with my first child. Very exciting to say the least. I just had my first ultrasound this past monday. Here where i live they don't let you know the sex of the baby, so i am none the wiser on that point. I would actually like to know, but i guess we will just have to wait and see.

So far my pregnancy has been interesting. I had really bad morning sickness for awhile there. Even ended up in the ER due to dehydration...not fun. I also have high blood pressure (which is under control) but worry that it will cause more problems in the near future. Besides being sick, things have been going pretty well. I am not sure if i have felt the baby move, cause i have nothing to compare it too and it happens so fast its hard to tell...could be gas bubbles for all i know :P

My ultrasound pictures weren't as clear as i had hoped. They said the baby was being "uncooperative" (it gets that from its fathers side) Had its back turned to us and covered its face. Already camera shy :P

Anyways, im looking forward to reading what everyone else is experiencing here. Seems like a good site, especially for first timers!
