I made 7 weeks today!! I am very excited, and very anxious for our 1st dr. appt next week!

Tuesday, 30 Oct

Tomorrow is my first doctor's appointment! I am so nervous! I hope I get to have an u/s and hear the baby's heartbeat!!!

Wednesday, 31 Oct

I went to my first dr. appt today. I was very nervous and excited. She ran some tests and did bloodwork, but no u/s. I have another appt on the 28th of November so I made sure I will have an u/s done. Yah!!! i made 8 weeks today! :)

Friday, 9 Nov

The last couple of days have been really scary! I got a phone message from my dr saying they had results and to call them back. Ofcourse I got the message after they closed and I had to wait until the next morning to find out. My dr. said that I have strep group A and that i need to take some antibiotics now and when I go into labor. Then that night I was spotting. I went to the hospital and they said everything looked ok. We also got to hear the heartbeat, THANK GOD!! So now I have to schedule and u/s for next week.

Friday, 9 Nov (Number 2)

I talked to the dr. and she said to come in today so she could do an u/s. Everything looked good and the baby's heartbeat was 176!!! I am so relieved that everthing is ok!!

Wednesday, 14 Nov

Yahh! I move to week 10 tomorrow! I am very excited! I have another dr. appt on the 28th of November. I can't wait to see my little bambino again!

I have had an awful headache all day long. I have also been nauseous on and off. I was told that when you get a sudden feeling of nauseousness, that the baby is moving. I wonder if that is true...

i have a doctor's appt tomorrow. yahh!!! this will be my first scheduled u/s. the last two were because of spotting and my husband could not be there. so this is his first time to see our lil bambino move!!

Friday, 30 Nov

I had a dr. appt yesterday, and my dr. said that everything looks good. i had another u/s done, this time my husband was there to see it. the last two times i had an u/s, i was spotting and had to go to the dr. immediately. he was so excited to see our lil bambino moving around on the screen. i can't wait to feel him or her move!!

Thank you for the response :) I am so excited that there are a few people left like me. I am very excited for the ones who have found out. I just really want to wait. I kind of feel like hey, whats another 20 weeks once the baby is born I have the rest of my life to know their gender :) I have taken some of the old wives tales tests, but just for fun. I hope that all is well for you. Take care!! We are half done!! June will be here before we know it.

Hey, I've heard the old wives tell as well, They say that not to have your arms above your head because it will wrap the umbilical cord around the baby's neck, according to the wives tale. Its not true..just an old wives tale. Don't let it worry you! You'll hear soooo many crazy things from people now that you're pregnant. Hope you have a healthy pregnancy!!
