Hi! So I was a single mom of a handsome little boy named Moses and met a single dad of a beautiful little girl named Desirae, when we met and fell in love. Then suprise! We found out we were pregnant with fraternal twins! Born May 30th they will be one in a few weeks when I had a one day period and I thought, "uh-oh...pregnant again?" The rates for having multiples after having twins goes up with the next pregnancy, and so we are pretty nervous. Jason is very stressed, feels like he can't breathe and is very pale. =) For the first whole four months of my pregnancy with the twins he felt this way, and then every time I felt a pain he would ask, "What's wrong? Are you okay? Have you had enough water today?? Do you need to go to the hospital?!?" Seeing as how I went into premature labor four times and ended up on bed rest though, I can understand his concern.
Moses is four, Desirae is three, and the twins eleven and a half months.....every time I go grocery shopping people stop and ask me about my children and they always, always comment the same thing, "WOW! YOU sure do have your hands FULL! Are they twins? Are they boys? How old are they??" SIGH.....I guess I can't expect any less while pushing a double stroller, dragging a cart behind me and scolding the toddlers for climbing on shelves. =0
So I eagerly await my next due period, as I have already taken two tests which came back negative. But I think it is too soon to tell, only two weeks though I am very sure that I am. Already I have cravings, am moody, and am showing. I wanted to ask if anyone else had multiples after multiples? How did they survive??

On Sat. morning I had to take Austin to the Emergency Room due to an allergic reaction to corn. His face started to swell, his eyes were watery, his neck was swollen, and he had a cold with a plugged nose on top of everything else! Thankfully he is okay now. We were there for five hours or so taking breathing treatments and monitoring his oxygen levels. He is on several medicines for the next week but ok, thank god. This makes his list of things he's allergic to so far: Amoxcicilan, Ibuprofen, Milk, Eggs, Peanuts, Legumes, Strawberries, Rasberries, and Corn. Not to mention that corn syrup or citric acid derived from corn is in almost everything! My brother commented that I'll have to become a Betty Crocker, making everything homemade so that I can monitor his food. Hmm...we'll see....In any case he also had it in his formula! This explains why his rash never went away. I feel very frustrated and worried for him. Also, how can two twins born from the same womb, at the same exact time, albeit fraternal, have one not allergic ot anything and the other allergic to everything?? He also has the chance of becoming asmathic.......SIGH We had their One Year Birthday party yesterday, and they got completely and utterly spoiled. We never got to sing Happy Birthday or blow out candles though as by the time it came to that they were to exhausted and fussy. It was fun though!
