Hey everyone! My name is Emily and I'm married to the best guy on earth-Chris. He's in the Army National Guard as well as a prision guard. We've been together for close to 6 years now, but only married a short time. I'm a recent Nursing School graduate, studying for my state boards which should be soon! But for the mean time I'm working as a cna on the Labor and Deliver floor at our local hospital, which is where I'll work once I get my RN lisences as well! So I know what to expect..which may or may not be a good thing!! :) My husband and I are both soo excited about this pregnancy and can't wait to welcome our little one into the world!

Well today I got my results back from my State Boards--I am now offically an RN!!! Its been a long time coming and we are soooo excited. Now I can go out and buy an SUV for when the baby comes! And speaking of which--we're about 90% sure that its a BOY!!! I haven't had my 'official' u/s, but I did a little sneeky peek at work the other night with the u's machine that we have and I'm pretty positive I saw a little weenie! lol But I go back to the OBGYN on Monday (2/4) and he's going to schedule me for the u/s. And that'll more than likely be with in the week. So we're soooo excited! A boy is what we wanted, even though a girl would have been just fine as well, we just want a healthy baby. My dad is super excited, cause now he has a new fishing and hunting buddy. :) Hope everyone else is doing well!!!

Yes, I am very excited! Feeling good and trying not to gain too much weight before the end! We are still waiting to find out where we will move...it doesn't look like NC anymore. :( We can still keep in touch via this, though! Decided not to go with that spa bedding either...because the comforter doesn't get 'used' much, we are going to mix and match a bumper/crib skirt to other blankets that we get/love. That way, I can make it girly and still be spendy-smart. Will post a pic when it's all together, even if it's after we do move...just still figuring it out. How are you feeling? Is Luke moving like crazy??

hey
i read about your babies weight and had the same things happen last week
i understood my baby was 1 pound and 14ounces so 2 pounds missing to 2pounds.
but after reading around how much it is suposset to weight i figured we must have missunderstood her and she must have said the baby is almost 1 pound which is 14 ounces and 2 missing to 16 ounces which is one pound.
maybe the same thing happen to you. i am gonna ask my doctor next week to check in the paperwork to tell me again just to douple check. at 21 weeks most of the baby weight like 10-16 ounces so us with our 30 ounces are way off... i figured there would be something wrong. haha

Oh, congrats on your RN license! I have taken the past couple of years off, but hope to get back to it 'someday!' For now i'm just MOM! As for the weight, my little boys weight was 13 oz over 2 weeks ago. I'm sure he's well over a lb by now! They all grow at different rates! Congrats on your baby boy!

heya! lol same here my baby boy's weight is 1 pound and sum onces n i was a like hes guna be a chubby baby n den iWAS wondering that at the end of pregnancy hes gunaa be arnd 10 lbs lol i dunoo but a bit relief to hear that ur baby is da same cuz i read at this time baby weight shud be arnd 10-12 ounces ne way gud lUCK !! ;)

Yeah, I limit my caffeine but still drink it although there are people that don't when they are pg. I am going to try the hot choco again on Wed. I can't believe it's finally here...and I get to see him/her again! Very exciting! Glad you got some good rest. I've been sleeping better, but last night I woke up a lot. Well, sleeping better now because my cold is clearing! :) Maybe you have migraines. Unfortunately, you can't take stuff for them right now, though. My baby moves too, just not all the time like some people have mentioned. One day, it seemed a majority of the day, though...like it was kicking and dreaming (like a dog!)--HA! I had a choc covered cherry hot chocolate and it liked it. It was soo good! Going to have one the morning of the u/s...Wed!! Hope you have a great weekend! Rub your baby for me!! :)

I am going to school for my bachelor's degree in Management. I will finish my last class a month after babe is due! HA! Luckily, I'll have the degree before we move in July (tentatively). Did I mention we might be moving to NC??
