Hey everyone! My name is Emily and I'm married to the best guy on earth-Chris. He's in the Army National Guard as well as a prision guard. We've been together for close to 6 years now, but only married a short time. I'm a recent Nursing School graduate, studying for my state boards which should be soon! But for the mean time I'm working as a cna on the Labor and Deliver floor at our local hospital, which is where I'll work once I get my RN lisences as well! So I know what to expect..which may or may not be a good thing!! :) My husband and I are both soo excited about this pregnancy and can't wait to welcome our little one into the world!

Well today I got my results back from my State Boards--I am now offically an RN!!! Its been a long time coming and we are soooo excited. Now I can go out and buy an SUV for when the baby comes! And speaking of which--we're about 90% sure that its a BOY!!! I haven't had my 'official' u/s, but I did a little sneeky peek at work the other night with the u's machine that we have and I'm pretty positive I saw a little weenie! lol But I go back to the OBGYN on Monday (2/4) and he's going to schedule me for the u/s. And that'll more than likely be with in the week. So we're soooo excited! A boy is what we wanted, even though a girl would have been just fine as well, we just want a healthy baby. My dad is super excited, cause now he has a new fishing and hunting buddy. :) Hope everyone else is doing well!!!

Well, sleeping better now because my cold is clearing! :) Maybe you have migraines. Unfortunately, you can't take stuff for them right now, though. My baby moves too, just not all the time like some people have mentioned. One day, it seemed a majority of the day, though...like it was kicking and dreaming (like a dog!)--HA! I had a choc covered cherry hot chocolate and it liked it. It was soo good! Going to have one the morning of the u/s...Wed!! Hope you have a great weekend! Rub your baby for me!! :)

Oh-that's good that it will be closer, then! I'll let you know when we do!! I haven't been sleeping good, either--but that's because I cannot breathe out of my nose from my cold! Have you been taking Tylenol for the headaches?? It's safe for you and should help, at least a little! Have you been feeling some movements??

No, not to Ft. Bragg...maybe to UNC. It's not final yet, but if it is, I will be sure to let you know. That would be fun to get them together...since they will so close in age!! :)

I am going to school for my bachelor's degree in Management. I will finish my last class a month after babe is due! HA! Luckily, I'll have the degree before we move in July (tentatively). Did I mention we might be moving to NC??

Yeah, it's exciting to think about--getting ready for a baby! What a life changer, huh?? It still bewilders me every now and then! I am really excited to find out, too! We'll probably know around the same time! :) How have you been feeling? I have another cold and my DH is sick now. Grrreeeat! I did start to feel movement over a week ago, which is neat! Let me know what's new with you!

Do you both have a preference? We decided that if we had to choose, we would like a boy first. But ever since my u/s, I've been wondering what it would be like to have a girl...and so I am all confused. Honestly, after trying so long, I will love it immensely-regardless of what's between it's legs! I am excited to find out...when do you???

Hi there! I am doing very good. They did a courtesy u/s last Tues...but the little stinker had it's legs crossed! That's all right...I can wait until the 6th! Been feeling great, except a little emotional yesterday and today...maybe I just need some extra rest?! Still haven't felt movement...that I know of. Have you?? And I am not showing like I wish I was yet...:( All in due time! Let me know what's new with you and how are you are doing! :)

I am glad that he will be there, for however long that will be! I have my u/s on Feb 6th and will find out. We are hoping for a boy, as well. Happy and healthy is #1, though! :) Hope you are feeling well! Keep in touch!

Well that is good that he will be here when little one comes! (trying to be positive!) We are looking forward to our move to NC (more than likely) this summer-month and 1/2 after babe comes! We'll see...I am calling tomorrow to get an u/s appt. I am excited! No feeling about what it is...how about you?

Yes, that is a long time to wait!! My next appt is Jan 15 (week 18) but I am not sure they are going to do the ultrasound that day...so I will have to wait until the end of Jan, perhaps. Looking forward to finding out.

Have you ever been here? Not too much to do. Oh well. It could be worse...(I was in Iraq during 03-04...) Hope your DH is home and not returning, so he can be there with you. Take care and keep in touch...I wanna know what it is, OK??!

yea i called and my doctor said to drink at least a gallon of liquids a day!! ugh!! i hate drinking anything! he also said not to drink OJ or any juice with acids in them or else theyll do something to your throat that makes it harder for you to get better. go figure? hope you feel better, too!!
