Well today I ate all of my dinner. Lately I havent been able to eat much and I was happy that I ate all of my food YAY! I am proud of myself.

Well I have lost a few pounds. And it is worrying me. I was 152-153 at my last visit which was Nov 18 and now as of today I am 146. I am nervous but trying to not stress out. Books say that people do lose weight.

Well I am 11 weeks and 2 days. And feeling ok. I got sick yesterday, I have been good and not been getting sick in almost 2 weeks. I'm alright now and I am still nausous but hoping it will stop soon. Anything that has a very strong smell like dinner that makes the whole house smell good to other people makes me want to hurl even if I just ate it. So it still sucks but I know it will be worth it when the baby is here.

Feeling pretty good. I can't wait for my next u/s but my last one was when I was 8 1/2 weeks and my next one isnt till my 16th week, which will be in the middle of Jan. So I am a little bummed about that but I will enjoy it more by waiting.

Well I am 13 weeks today. I am so excited about feeling the baby. Since I had my first u/s when I was 8 1/2 weeks and my next appointment at 16 1/2 weeks..I know its in there but to feel it would be nice to know that everything is ok. I dont know what its going to feel like. I still haven't gained any weight but I havent lost anymore either which is good. And Christmas is right around the corner. And 2 days after Christmas I will be in my 2nd trimester. Thats so crazy. But I am excited and I cant wait for my next appointment and my husband is going to come too which makes me very happy because he couldnt go to the first one. I just want a healthy baby.

Its kind of funny...I see people between 11-13 weeks on here saying they feel the baby kick and everything I read says it has to be gas or something and the other day I felt something. I dont know what it was but it was in that region and my gas usually is painful and it just felt different. So who knows. I guess the only person who can tell you is yourself.

Merry Christmas everyone. Well things have been uh...well I have had a cold thing for the past few days. I have these coughing fits during the night which sucks. Then for the past 3 days I have been getting sick after I take my prenatals. Well today I took it and about 5 min later I got sick. My doctor calls me today so I will ask her about it.

It `s 2008 and I am still nervous about the baby. I dont know why. I need to let things fall into place. Even my horoscope today said stop worrying. Its in God `s hands and I trust him. I only have like 2 weeks until I go to the docs again but it seems like forever away. I just want to know the litte bugger is doing alright.

YAY! I am 15 weeks today. I still have a little bit of m/s and plenty of headaches. But in about 12 days I have my 2nd appointment and it would be so cool if they could see if its a boy or girl. I havent been to the docs in almost 2 months so it will be nice to make sure everything is alright. I hope everything is good. Still not really showing just bloated still. Baby will show when he/she wants too.

Well I had a little scare the other day. I went to the bathroom and my undies were damp and thought maybe it was amniotic fluid so I went to the ob-gyn clinic and they seen me. And They did an u/s and some other tests. The u/s was good, good amount of fluid and the baby was tumbling in there. It was a relief for me. And I guess it is just how my body is but now I wont freak out anymore. I know my little bugger is alright. And I go again to the ob-gyn on the 15th. I am excited.

I FELT THE BABY MOVE A FEW DAYS AGO. AND IT WAS SO COOL. I HAVENT FELT IT SINCE BUT THATS OK. IT FELT AMAZING.

Feeling the baby move every few days. Trying to eat right but its hard cuz we are in the middle of moving and we dont have anything to cook with at the moment. We also are having an u/s on the 29th and hopefully they will see what the sex is. I am so excited. Still getting sick every now and then. But its alright.

Got another cold again. Its pretty bad. I hope it goes away fast cuz in a week we have an 8 hour flight. I hope I feel better. I felt the baby kick, I have felt the baby move before but this was definitly a kick.

Moved to Georgia and we are getting an apartment soon. Feeling the baby kick now and loving it. Still dont have a clue on what the sex is. But maybe we will know soon.

We can now feel the baby on the outside of my belly. My hubby can finally feel the kicks that I have been feeling for the past 3-4 weeks.

Wow I can actually see some of the kicks. I have to be in the bath tub cuz the baby is so low but its still cool as shit to see. I am loving it. I get all giddy when I see it.

IT `S A GIRL! Her name is Amelia Rose. And we found out the amniotic fluid is low so I need to drink twice as much and take it easy. I have to go to a specialist on tuesday and get another u/s done. I hope everything will be alright

Went to the doctors and the amniotic fluid is normal but a little low still. And she is still in a ball and that may be concerning down the road.

Thursday, 18 April

Well I am 30 weeks today and so excited that we only have about 10 weeks left. I still cant believe we are going to have a baby. I dont think it will be real to me until she is here. Even with the kicks and the stretching she does. She has had some hiccups which I think means she has been practicing breathing. Today my belly got real hard so I dont know if it was BH or just her stretching again. The nursery is finished though. Not much more to do except put a baby in there.

Wednesday, 7 May

I went to the OB yesterday and it was just a regular check up. I am measuring 32 weeks. And her heartbeat was 153. She is head down and her body is in a C shape around my belly. I go back in 3 weeks which I will be 35 weeks then. And I will be getting an ultrasound done. My goodness we are almost there. I still cant believe there is a little baby in my belly. Its amazing. I feel her all the time and she always has the hiccups. I cant wait to see my little girl.

I am soo looking foward to havingmy first girl i have two boys already 6 and 10 well 11 at the end of this month anyway i was looking for a friend you know someone that can relate to what im going through! If you dont mind me askin ghavie you started to dialate yet? My Dr hasnt checked yet and says he wont start checking till im 38 weeks i'll be 37 weeks this Sat so im anxious to know if i have dialated yet! Hi. Saw your comment on week 38. I love pregnant movies too- and books. In fact, the only books I want to read right now are stories about pregnancy and motherhood. I recommend Shopoholic and Baby for example. And another pregnant movie you'd like stars Natalie Portman- Where the Heart is. (Oh and hot baths help me go back to sleep too on those weird mornings when I wake up for no reason).

Hi my girly parts are sore too. My doctor said it is from baby's head pushing down there. Regardless of the fact that he is still high. He is just getting heavy and increases the pressure. It hurts when I walk and when I turn in my bed or get up. When I strted to talk with my doc about my parts being in pain he just waved his hand dismissevely - like what do you want, you are 2 weeks short of your due data - it is just to be expected.

have you travelled this last tri yet? make sure you take lots of water and dry snacks with you. i went to a ladies retreat in april and we had to stop 4 times because the ride made me VERY sick!!! just be careful. and rest as much as you can....

i'm reading the Womanly Art of Breastfeeding by La Leche League and they say that you dont need to prepare your nipples like that unless they are inverted or flat..

they do recommend though that you do not wash the nipple area w/ soap because it dries it out. I have not washed mine w/ soap for months. They say because the areola has glands that produce an oil that keeps bacteria away and it keeps that area moisturized. Of course, it is hard not to get soap on them in the shower because it just drips over it, but i do not rub it in or anything like that...

I definitely wouldnt be pulling on them w/ a washcloth not only cos it would hurt, but because it's removing the moisture from your nipple.

They also talk about pain during breastfeeding and that it's usually just because the baby is positioned incorrectly.. that's the only thing that causes pain. So it'll be good to make sure that ifyou're breastfeeding that you get the lactation consultant at the hospital to teach you really well how to get the baby to latch on properly.

i checked that book out from the library.. it's pretty good.. it's long.. i skipped the whole first part about why it's good to breastfeed etc and went straight into the problems and techniques etc.. and it's really informative.

i'm also attending a La leche league small group at my local library every month and they are really helpful and supportive. And free!

p.s. the book teaches you how to prepare your nipples if they are flat or inverted.. i didnt read anything about doing it in the shower w/ a washcloth.

yeah, i will bring it up at my appt on wednesday... i know that my midwife lets me go 2 weeks over with regular monitoring but i dont know about 3 weeks!! Is that the law in GA? Because i'm in GA... not sure if she's allowed to let me go 2 weeks.

Was it a long car ride? I was in the car my husband driving and we were in tons of tarffic friday nite and i had bad contractions, i think its the stress of the traffic and the fact that we cant move anymore in our seats. when i wasnt pregnant i would sit every which way now its just the one way i fit in the car lol. Normal contractions not braxton hicks your stomach still tightness but you have pain accompanied by it as well...

I think you look fine, every woman carries differently and if you were any bigger people would say you looked too big. I get so tired of people's comments about how I'm carrying. Baby's healthy and so am I, that's all that matters. I think you look great!! Of all the people I run into who give their two cents worth I have yet to have any of them say anything nice. Well, besides close family of course. :)

It's just normal discharge. It kinda looks like glue but not the same consistancy right? I have that and just have to wear pantie liners all day. LOL.. It will most likely get worse the closer to delivery you get. I've had it with all 3 of my pregnancies.

It sounds like leukhorrea, normal discharge for pregnancy. Depending on what else is goin on, ur Dr may want to check for a UTI but sounds like it is just the normal goings on and yeah its annoying.

Unfortuntaly i have had that same discharge my entire pregnancy so far its sooo gross lol. Now I recently have it a bit thicker and string like more mucus like i guess. but they say closer to your due date this happens and you produce a lot more discharge i guess its all the hormones and getting your cervix prepaired. Still let your dr know though good luck!

As far as Braxton Hicks, this is how mine feel. I get a sensation of tightening in my uterus, almost feels like the baby is curling up into a ball. It stays tight for a few seconds, and then you can feel it slowly soften again. They aren't bad, but just feel kind of strange. I wasn't sure if that was what I was having, but the doctor just confirmed it for me. Sometimes it will be in different places, but lately they are starting at the top and then the whole uterus tightens. Don't fret...I've heard a lot of other women wondering if they were having them or not. I think it just takes us awhile to recognize them (I certainly did! I have had them for awhile and didn't even know it!) Hang in there...we'll begin experiencing these more and more and then there will be no doubt! Congrats on your little miracle! :)

You could be getting orthostatic hypotension which could be a result of being dehydrated. If thats the case you may need to drink more water. If you are already drinking a ton of water then drink gaterade. Electrolytes keep you hydrated.
