My profile
My name is Kari, and my husband Zach and I are expecting our first baby on July 17th. We don't know what we're having, so I feel a little unprepared about that. I'm sure it will work out just fine. This site it so great! It's nice to read and see that everyone else is going through the same things.
Good luck ladies on a fast labor and delivery. God Bless our little angels we've been waiting so long for!

Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Friday, 18 July I was in the same boat with my first, but believe me, you will absolutely know when the first bad contraction hits. I think if you're wanting to do most of your early labor at home, wait until you get a contraction that makes you go, "OOOOHHH now I know what everyone was talking about!" If they're unconfortable and painful, but not terrible, you're definitely still in early labor, probably no further than a 3 or so. Usually around 4 or 5 is when they start to get bad, and trust me, you will know it! HTH. galeas -
Wednesday, 16 July I've only been feeling this way today, it's a weird "off" feeling. I did call the Dr's office and they suggested I come in to get checked. Im going to wait until 3:30 and if I don't feel better by then, I guess I'll go in. I haven't been having any contractions though. my-lil-bean -
Wednesday, 16 July I definitely know how you feel. I don't even want to answer my phone anymore, because it just gets me frustrated. I know everyone is just as excited and wants the best, but at this point, I am just cranky! I'm sorry to hear about your doctor. Hopefully, you'll just go into labor before Monday. That's what I keep crossing my fingers for. I was not a happy camper when my doctor said he would see me Monday the 21st. Last night I was feeling absolutely awful...just not myself and crampy all over like I got run over by a truck. Today, it seems to have dissipated, so who knows what's going on! Well, I hope you have your baby soon. Maybe we'll go into labor right on our due date or even today. I'm due tomorrow too. So, when tomorrow passes, I'm sure I'm just going to go bonkers. my-lil-bean -

Thursday, 10 July The extra stuff is likely extra discharge which I always have too...if it keeps leaking like watery and sweet smelling could be amniotic.... noodle -
Thursday, 10 July Congrats! Maybe soon...your mucous plug replenishes itself till the very end to prevent infection. You don't lose it all at once. Whenever I see blood tinged with it usually deliver within 24 hours. Everyone is diff.

Wednesday, 9 July I'm due around the 17th also, I've been told a few diff dates, the 20th then the 15th. Yah I feel like as soon as I relaxed the pains from the walk went away damnit!! I did notice the quicker I walked the more action I felt in my tummy. AND My friend is OVERDUE and she keeps saying she walks everyday, however I saw her 'walk' and not trying to be mean but it was pretty slow, so I've decided the super slow walks do nothing! Shes been talking these long slow walks since she was 37 weeks and now shes 41! UGH! Right after my walk was intense BH and a lil pain/pressure now I feel normal again so maybe another walk? argh! who knows!!! good luck knockduppp -
Wednesday, 9 July I also just went for a very long fast paced walk. It sure felt like it got something going, I had some pain after the walk kind of like mini contractions, got my hopes up!! we shall seeeee. did you walk slow or sort of fast? juliedue2008 -
