Hello Everyone!!!

I am pregnant with my first baby and due May 29th. I am a 25 year old kindergarten teacher in Phoenix and I absolutely love it! Right now I am just trying to enjoy each day of my pregnancy and counting down the days until I get to see my baby girl!!

How much weight have you gained?: EEEK!!! 20 pounds!!!
Have you had an ultrasound?: Yep, it was amazing!!
Have you heard the heartbeat?: Yes, a few times.
What was the heartbeat?: it's in the 140's
Worst thing about being pregnant?: Hormones

I am 11 weeks PP and it still hurts at the start of sex. It hurt a lot when we started back after 5 weeks, and I did not expect that since I had a c-section. My OB said it is totally normal, and the srea is dry and tender after pregnancy. We bought some KY and take it slow. It gets better after a minute, and is getting better overall now, but I felt like you did!

My doctor said it would be painful for me, but hubby and I haven't started trying to make love yet (I'm not 6 weeks yet). I think everybody is different, but based on what my doc told me, what you've described is within the range of normal--especially if you've had stitches.

Sex, sex, sex, (sigh). Ah yes, the pain. I just had my 6 week appt today and she said ok on the sex. My hubby is about ready to pop as he refused to touch me while I was pregnant (no clue why) anyway, with my last one, it was very painful the first time, and I know even after I started getting my period again and I used tampons, that hurt as well. I had to use pads for a while. A couple of months at least. I hate to say this but I'm dreading the first time. I'm sure it will be within the next 24 hours as I'd rather get it over with then have to deal with his sexual tension. It's not that I don't want to, it's just the pain that I know is to come is not very inviting. So to answer your question, yes I believe it will hurt for a while and just use a ton of lube. Hope that helps.

My doctor didn't say anything about it, but my family are all saying I will probably go early. So we will see how it goes. I want to wait til my husband comes home, but it will be okay either way.
