I just love being a mom! Had a dr's appt on Thursday September 20th and the doc has my induction date set up for Monday the 24th and told me I wasnt dialated at all and THAT same night, my water broke at 9:30pm and I started pushing at around 8am the next morning and has her at 11:22am----she is the bestest baby in the world! I just love her!

Hi, my name is Erin Martin and I'm 23. My hubby and I are about to celebrate our 2 year Anniversary on May 27th, Memorial Day weekend and he is the man of my dreams, Kris Martin. He just got into the Newport News Fire Department and is now an Emergency Medical Technician...he's doing a great job, and he works on the ambulance & engine 10 days a month. On his days off, him and his brother (also a fire fighter) will do landscaping which his brother started a few years ago when he got into the fire dpt.. I am so proud of Kris! We live in a 2 bed/2 bath apartment and have attempted several times buying a home and finally are going to move in a house at the end of May 08! We wanted to have children in a few years after getting married...so Kris would have graduated the academy, we would have moved in a house and I would at least have a 4 door car. But God has bigger plans for us and I know for sure God does NOT make mistakes! I was very upset when I first discovered I was pregnant, thinking I was too young and there were so many things I wanted to have done before we had kids but now, I am so overwhelmed with joy, especially when I saw my first ultra sound and saw our little angel move around and saw that heart racing. We are so blessed. I love this website and Congrats to every mom out there. Children are truely a blessing. God Bless to all of you! :)

5/2/07: Okay I am soooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOO upset bc I dont know how all my messages got erased from my page! I am sooo MAD! I cannot believe this! I was going to save all those feelings I had each day and print them out and give them to my baby! Well...I guess I'll have to start all over now! Freakin' A!

Anywaaaaaaaayzzzzzzzzzz....I have a checkup today and I hope that goes well and after that I am going to go get low lights in my hair bc I think my blond is making me look really washed out bc I cant tan : (

My BFF's 21st B-day is today, so I'm gonna go take a few shots with her tonight.....hahaha gotcha, j/k. You thought I was really going to! heheheh. Although I would love a nice mixed drink, I suppoooose I can hold off hehe : )

5/3/07: Well I went to my 20 wk checkup and everything looks good. I go back in 4 wks for the u/s where I was supposed to find out the sex, but thanks to my 3D imaging, I already know!!! Plus they'll do measurements and discuss the glucose test. Well I got my lowlights and I think I don't look as washed out: Look it's meeeeeeeeeeeee! I think now that I'm pregnant I look older? I know I'm weird! I am soooo pale! Oh well, I suppose Shaye/Riley is worth it?! hehehhe I love her...I wonder if she's going to look more like me or Kris? Who knows? Well, God knows, but I dont think he's gonna let me find out until she pops out!

5/9/07: Well today I am feeling out of breath...guess my lungs are being sqwooshed, yesterday I was crampy but today I'm not. Today Kris has his M-Capstone test and it's a big one! Then he has the national test this Saturday and then he will be Fini! Then he will move onto the floor with the firefighters and be workin 10 days a month and in Septmeber, which ironically is when the baby is born, he will go back to 8-5 Mon-Fri for the fire academy and will graduate in January! I am so excited. Please pray for him to do well! He stayed up 'til 2 am lastnight studying and tossed and turned all night. I know hes probably so tired and stressed out this morning. I made him a to-go cup of coffee this mornin and a sausage egg and cheese biscuit this morning to get his brain ready ( I know I know I am sucha great wife! heheh :) ) Well back to work...wish I didnt have to work! it sux! Love to all the mommies!

5/14/07: Well I finally gave in and bought a bigger size pair of pants! On Friday I was 15 minutes late to work bc none of my pants fit me and I was getting sooo frustrated! My belly has just popped out in just one week bc my pants fit me last week! Oh well....what are you gonna do?! Well my sis, Ashley, came for for Mothers Day from TN and she and I suprised my mom with Ashley. My mom was speechless and started crying when my sister walked in the door. It was a great suprise..and absolutely priceless! My sis left late lastnight and it takes her and her hubby 12 hours to get back home, so I bet theyre exausted. I miss my sissy! Well we're back to Monday...yippy! NOT! Oh BTW: My hubby passed his National Registry for the NNFD....we are so excited and he is now an Emergency Medical Technician and will be on the ambulance until September when he goes into the Fire Academy and then in January he will graduate and then we can start looking for a house! Yay! I cannot wait...The Process for the Fire Dpt is sucha long one. First you take the entry test, than if you passed you MAY geta call to take the agility test, than if you pass that you MAY get a call for an interview, than if the interview goes well, you May get a call back to take the polygraph and if you pass that you MAY get a call back for the final interview, if That goes well they MAY call you and hire you and then you have to pass about 5 sections with a final at the end of each one and if you dont pass a final, you lose your job, so I am SO PROUD of Kris for getting through all of that. He's such an amazing man! My baby daddy!

5/31/07: Well I had my 24 week u/s yesterday and Riley is weighing in at a pound and a half! and I'm weighing in at....well...I dont really wanna talk about it.....Ive gained 15 lbs! AHHHH! They said I should gain a pound a week from here on...thats 15 weeks! They said the weight should come off within a month after birth so I'm gainin this weight for my lil Riley! The u/s showed that she was a healthy baby girl...yes she is still a girl! hahaha, no un expected parts have grown heheh :) Well guess what!? I traded in my 2000 2 door Saturn for a 2005 Toyota Tundra. It's ocean blue and 4 doors and has 40,000 miles and it is so spacious and beautiful! It has a flip down dvd player in the back seat so Riley can sit in her car seat and watch Disney movies! Kris will be driving it most of the time though, but BOTH of our names are on it, so I am going to drive that big 'ol truck too! Right now I'm driving my sis-in-laws 4Runner until this wkend when I can figure out how to drive a stick. I'm going to drive Kris' 2 Door Manual Honda Civic until around September and then we are going to sell that and I'm going to go ahead and buy my step moms 4 door Acura RL so we'll both have baby friendly cars. I cant wait! This is mine and Kris' first purchase together and my first purchase ever bc I have never had to make car pymnts, so its a big step for me but I good one I think and I prayed that God would give me a clear sign to let me know if this was a right decision and he told me it was! It's real scary growin up but ya gotta do it ya know!? Well I am so happy Riley is healthy! Here's a pic of our truck!:

6/18/07: Well this weekend was great bc I got to spend it with Kris :) We went to go see his new baby nephew at the hospital, (pictures below) and we hung out just me and him and watched a movie. Saturday I laid out at the pool for a bit while he went to his parents house to go work on his 50. Then we just hung out again. Sunday, I made Kris breakfast in bed and gave him a Father "to-be" card then I went to church and took my Dad out to Captain Georges and gave him a 3D pic of Riley in a frame and then we went out on the river, had dinner with his rents and took a golf cart ride around the neighborhood. Then lastnight me and Kris sat in bed and talked for about an hour about how we met and what we thought of eachother when we were with eachother..we got all turned on and Kris was like, "Dang baby, I'm getting turned on talkin about it, we shoudl do it!" and I was like, "Yeah me too but I'm really tired"...so we went to bed, hahaha thats so mean of me! He knows I love him though, I wish I had a good sex drive but for some reason it is not as strong before I get pregnant...I sure hope it comes back. I DO like to cuddle all the time though. I just want to be with Kris 24/7... I am so freakin clingy lately! Anyways, it was a nice weekend! Now its Monday, back to work! BLAH! It pays my bills though! Well I have my glucose test on Friday, so hopefully that goes well and then an OB physical....Well any hoot...TTYL!:

7/3/07: Ok well I took my glucose test on Friday and they havnt called me back, so I think my results came out good! I got a suprise 3D u/s. The nurse was taking my blood pressure and the u/s tech asked the nurse if she could borrow me to try out their new 3D/4D u/s machine. I was soooo excited. So I was the first Prego to use their new machine and it was FREE! Sweeet! Riley didnt want to look up, she was faced down the whole time, but at least we got a little of her profile and at least I got to see that sweet baby! Ok ladies...I have a question???? I am sure it is just me but I have had dreams that my hubby cheats on me. Kris told me lastnight that he loves me so much and he would never do anything to hurt me out of no where while we were eatin popcorn in bed lastnight. I dno why I dream and think about stuff like that. I guess I just have low self esteem lately bc I am not completely comfortable with my body...cottage cheese... I think that it might be me being insecure of my body making me insecure about what Kris thinks of me? He tells me I'm beautiful and I know he would never cheat on me but why do I have dreams like that? "They" say that you dream about things you fear the most, I guess I dream about that bc I just dno what I would do if Kris were un faithful bc I just love him SOOOO MUCCH it hurts! My love for him has grown sooo strong since Ive gotten pregnant...maybe just my hormones. Plus with his long 24 hour shifts, while I'm at home alone, it makes me think of what my life would be without him....I cry just about every night hes away at work bc I miss him so much and i think about what if something ever happened to him??? What would I do? I dno why I am feeling like this, but it sux and I really wish it would go away. Do any of you feel the same ever?

7/6/07: Great News!.....My sis in law, Stephanie is finally knocked up! After having a miscarriage at 9 wks and having to wait to have one period, she's pregnant! I am going to start praying now that her baby is happy and healthy! Oh I am sooooo Excited!

Well I havent gotten a call that anything went wrong with my glucose test, so 'm guessing I dont have gestational diabetes! Yay! Well It's getting closer...Only 10 wks til my due date! I have my baby showers on July 22nd and 28th! Yay!!!!!

7/9/07: Well I have some bad news...my sis-in-law had another miscarriage :( She was only about not even 5 wks but her pregnancy test was positive on Thursday and yesterday she started spotting a little and then it stopped and then she started cramping and bleeding clots today. I am just so sad for her. I want her to get prego so bad! Anyway, I'll just have to keep praying for her. She's 26 and shes just ready to get pregnant and have a full-term baby!

7/10/07: Bloody Nose: I get one just about every morning! This morning I breathed in and this huge bloody clot like loogie came out of my mouth and then my nose just started to flow. Then I got a little lightheaded. I called my doc and I'm waiting now for a nurse to call me back bc obviously the receptionist couldnt tell me if that was normal. Has this happened to anyone at all???

ok well I heard back from the OB, well a nurse and she said that it is very common to have nose bleeds during pregnancy but if I'm worried about it then I could go see my Primary Care Physician. Why would she say that? If it's normal, then why would I need to go see a dr. if I'm worried about it?? Should I be worried about it? I mean, why couldn't she say, "It's normal and don't worry about it but if it becomes a problem then you can call your PCP." Instead she says, "It's normal, but if youre worried about it, call your PCP." How rude! I hate my OB office sometimes, theyre so impersonable! Like, my sis in law went to the dr yesterday after she miscarried and they did a pregnancy test on her which came out negative (yeah..probably bc she bled the embyo out!) and they were like, "You probably weren't pregnant in the first place...oh well...just try again..." I mean, What the crap!? Couldn't he of been like, "I am so sorry for your loss and it's going to be ok, we'll just keep on trying." They are so freakin mean there! They may have gone through this stuff a million times, but to the person it's happening to, it's their child that they loved right away when they first saw that positive pregnancy test and like me...Ive only been pregnant once! How the crap am I supposed to know what is supposed to happen in my pregnancy!? Sorry...but I am going to vent! It is ridiculous! Have some compassion man! oooooooooooh it makes me so angry!

7/24/07: Here's some pics of our weekend at the beach...it was nice to get a vacation even though it was only an hour away from home hahahha! I also had a small breakfast baby shower but sorry...no pics! AHHH! I have another one this weekend coming up and i promise I will get some pics of that! I just got some cash and some gift cards which is great so I can pick out whatever I want! Me and Riley are both doinf well and Riley is kickin like a crazy girl...I sure do love it! Less than 8 weeks 'til my due date! Praise the Lord!

7/27/07: Well when I got home yesterday from work...this is what Kris had done for me..(well Riley) but this is what the nursery looks like so far...all we need now is the dresser (which Kris' mom is getting) a big rug in the middle, a crib skirt and the window panels....which I hope i get at my last baby shower that my church is throwing me on August 18th :):

8/21/07: Updated pics of Riley's Nursery. I still need a mattress cover, window panels and a crib skirt and then I'll be all set...gotta wait til Friday though when I get paid. I have my 36 week dr's appt today and then I start going every week. At this appointment they check for dialation and Riley's position :) (or so I thought, they havnt even freakin checked!)

8/31/07: okay here are updated pics of the nursery. It is all finished, now all it needs is Riley! HUrry up and get here baby girl!

Hey Erin! How's little Riley doing? Or not so little anymore Riley is more like it! LOL They are growing up waaaaay to fast aren't they? I have a pre-walker over here! She is now attempting her first hands free steps. She's not very good at it, but at least she's trying. She hates crawling, she does it, but prefers standing and scooting along the furniture now. I think what's making her seem more grown up is that although she still has chubby cheeks, she is losing that baby fat on her face and starting to look more like a litte girl than a baby. Then when you put the pony tail in her hair, which has gotten so long, she looks more like a toddler than a 7 month old. It was funny we took Serenity to the park yesterday and there were two 8 month olds over there, and she was bigger than both of them! ROFL I have a gigantor kid. I love her so much Erin you just don't know.
So I read from one of your comments that you got a new house?! That's AWESOME! Congrats!!! I hope to see some pics of it!!! Things here are the same really, working on art and taking care of the kiddo. Traveling around here, but haven't left Germany yet. Jon needs to get his passport...Well I need to get going. The house wont clean itself unfortunately. Hah Hah. Can't wait to hear from you! ; )

Girl OMG OMG OMG, I am sooooo HAPPY For u! Congratulatiions!!I got butterflies! That is just the coolest thing ever. I know how it is when u get your first house. U better take some pics of it. YAY. Sounds perfect!!! So since u gotta house, I was wondering are u going to redo the whole nursery? Or are u going to keep it looking the same in the new house? How FUNNNN!! WOW cant beleive that Riley is pulling herseld up, she is such a fast learner and sooo smart. Hoe cute that she pulls herseld on you to hold her. She might be walking shortly. I was releived to hear that everything was alright after your fall with Riley. How scary. Seems like it scared her more then anything. I would of freaked too. i am glad that everyone is ok. I know girl, all it takes is one min and bam something happens. I remember about a month ago i wa scarrying Lana down the stairs at a hockey gmae and totally ate my shit but I I could think of was not to let her go and keep her head up from hitting the concrete. Thankfully, a lady was able to like hold her head while I sat her down. So I know how scary it is. Give her lots of hugs and kisses :o). How'd the allergist stuff go yesterday? Did u get the blood drawn? I do take Maliya outta her car seat as well, but not all the time. You have the right idea girl. Lana was outta her infant seat at 5 1/2 months. Like Riley maliya loves to be held lol. Our spoiled girls. I am glad to hear that Riley is almost got the sitting up down. She will get real soon, she is almost there. What do u do when u go to the grocery store? Do u put her in the carts? Maliya really loves to eat table foods lol. She likes potatoes and french fries. I also give her those gerber graduate fruit puffs, but only a few. She chews them all up. For some reason she thinks when I eat is funny lol. I think she just likes to eat what we are eating. So what are some of Rileys fav foods? What doesnt she like? Maliya isnt too keen on peas or greenbeans, but if they are mixed in with something then she will eat them. Shes funny!!! Girl u gotta get some more pics of Rye up. I bet she looks so much older!!!!

Hey Erin! i still cant beleive that Riley is crawling everywhere now. I bet she is starting to get into everything. Maliya has no intrest in crawling and that is FINE by me lol! Do u have gates up? I hope these docs can find out what these rashes are for sure! Poor thing. keep me posted on what they find out. Aaw she is getting so big. Hard to beleive that they will be 7 months already. Crazy. I am about to be 27 years old. AGh thats almost 30. I am getting old lol! Lanas b-day is next tues. Your weekend sounded soooo fun at the cottage. I bet Riley loved every moment of it. Cant wait to see the pics. Maliya is also on stage 1 and 2's. She is doing pretty good on them most of the time. Maliya finally said her first word and it was Lana. Soo funny bc I would tell her to say mama and nope it was Lana. I have a video of it on my page. How Riley sitting up? She got it down now? I am about move Maliya up in car seats so I wont have to lug around the infant seat anymore. It is easier sometimes tho. I havent done it yet. Prolly in the next couple of weeks. I am not sure what she is weighing now. I am sure she is around 16 pounds are so. Lana is doing pretty good on the potty when she wants too. She will go in it a couple of times then wont do it once then do it again. Its all good tho. At least she does something on the potty lol :o)!!! She says the funniest things too. She is such a character and full of personality. We are going ot be starting music school with her next week. That should be good for her. then I will get her into something else too. Shes getting all grown up on me!!! maliya acutally doesnt roll girl lol. She is sooo lazy. She did it that few times and then forget it. I guess whatever makes her happy! Post some new pics girl. hey erin! haven't been on here in FOREVER! how's riley?! what's she up to? serenity has been crawling around for the last 2 months or so but now it's getting crazy because she pulls herself up to stand, and tries to go from crawling to standing. she is into everything, and i can't turn my back for even a second! we are now in germany, and have most of everything set up. still waiting for more stuff to come from storage, and for our car to get off the boat. we had a pretty big scare right before we left. serenity started to have mini seizures!!! : ( but her first EEG came back normal so nothing bad has been diagnosed yet. she's continuing to grow too fast for my liking. she only takes 2 bottles now,, she has breakfast and dinner in meal form now. she has cereal, fruit and water for breakfast. then a meat/veggie food mix, cereal and watered down juice for dinner. she is getting more teeth in right now too, so she's not a happy camper. but i love how she's becoming more independent...at the same time it kills me because i know that she's one step closer to being a little kid not my baby anymore. : ( but she's babbling tons now, and definitely knows mama, dada, and baaaa (bottle). lol she can play patty cake and when you say "dance serenity!" she goes "dddaaaa daaaaaa" at the top of her lungs and wiggles and dances. LOL I LOVE IT!!! she's now over 27 inches and 21 pounds, i have to get her the toddler car seat now, before our car gets here...we have a second EEG and MRI scheduled on may 13, but the docs are optimistic because she's doing well and the seizures are close to non-existant any more. well that's us for right now! : ) can't wait for an update!!!

Hey Erin! OMG I cant beleive that Riley is crawling. She is an early crawler. Riley is prolly the first 6 month old I know that she crawling. WOW go Rye! I know u are so proud. She is def a smart one. Funny how both our girls got both thier bottom teeth right around the same time. Pretty cool!!!! So what kinda baby food does Riley like? What doesnt she like? Maliya doesn like greenbeans or peas. She LOVES squash, carrots, sweet potatos, applesauce. did u decide to make ur own? I am so glad that u had a great b-day girl. That massage sounded soooo NICE!!! I know u were in heaven lol. I have to say that I have never had a massage. I am weird about ppl touching my neck and stuff. I know I would enjoy it tho!!! Is ur back feeling better now? What did Kris get u? Or was it the massage that he got u? I do know what u are talking about with the cupcake tower. Thats sooo cute. U are so creative. I know she would appreciate that. go for it. The girls are doing good. We taking Lana to disneyland for her b-day on the 22nd and then going to have a party for her on the 27th. Cant beleive that she is going to be 3! Maliya likes to do the fake cough now lol. Its cute. She loves to sit up and play with all her toys. She likes her jumperoo and I busted out the walker yesterday. She not to keen on it yet tho, but i know once she get s the hang of it she will be all over the place. R u going to get Rye a walker? She still iking her jumperoo? Oh I do like the name Brady. Actually my aunts brothers baby girls is named Brady and she is sooo cute. It will go well with Riley :-). i am so glad to hear that u will be able to see ur little niece whenever u want. I know its got to be so hard that she doesnt live close to u!!! Oh what did the doc say about Rileys rash? Did they find out what it was? I hope so! Take care girl. Talk to u soon!

Hey. How is riley doing now?? Israel has the same rash his doc said it is an eczema rash caused by an allergic reaction. To what is anyones guess. I say its the shot he got they say its the food. So I am now back to breastfeeding full time. Although it doesn't seem to be getting better. His trunk is covered and his diaper area is so red. I am going to call the doc again and see what they think we should do now. Poor guy is going crazy everytime we eat. He loves to be a big boy and eat when we eat. It doesn't seem to bother him to much just bugs me I guess. I want to take him for pics but he has a rash all over. Guess that happens when you have little ones not all pics are perfect. I am thinking I am pregnant again. I haven't tested but I have been having morning sickness and been extra sleepy lately (not because of Israel either he sleeps all night long)
Ian wants to see if he breaks out again. We determined the last time he was allergic to me pregnant. So weird. Now I am worried that the baby maybe allergic to me pregnant. Probably not but who knows. I guess we will wait and see. We just found out yesterday that Ian will probably be laid off as soon as next week. Due to the American Axel Strike. It sucks but we will get through it. And that will give Ian time to spend with Israel which will be good. Keep us in your prayers. God is the only one who can make this strike end. Take care and give riley lots of love for me.

Aww thanks girl! U R 2 Sweet! My girls are fun lol!!! omg poor Riley! I wonder what the heck is causing that rash! Poor baby! I hope that they can figure it out. Is it as bad as the pics again? Give her lots of hugs and kisses for me :D! Let me kow what the doc says!!!AWW she wants to be close to u in the bassinet. Sometimes its just better to have them close to u when they arent feeling well. Hows the teeting going? Is the tooth fully thru now??Maliya has popped tooth #1 and tooth #2 has started to poke thru this weekend. Crazy right!?!Poor baby. She is up every hour during the night. I have been giving her teething tablets every 4 hours. Shes a little fussy tho. I am soo impressed at little miss Riley. She is going to be an early crawler. It seems that way. WOW! What a big girl. She has almost got it mastered. SHe is a smart girl. Is she able to stay on her hands and knees for awile? Hows the sitting up going? How cute that she scoots. She has def got places to go. HAPPY EARLY B_DAY GIRL! YAY. I hope ur dinner out with ur friend goes good. What else r u doing for ur day? What do u want? Oh Congrats to ur sil! YAY for PINK! I know your so excited to see our sis baby. Not much longer now. Did u have a nice easter? Mine was good. We had to hide eggs for Lana about a dozen times haha she loves it. they got lots of goodies. Went and saw my nephew. It was a nice and kicked back one. Well I hope everything goes well at Rileys app. I will be thinking of her! Take care.

I am SO sorry to hear about Riley. i am sending you lots of hugs for her. did you maybe change some soap or something? Did your babysitter do something different? Have you started foods? Thats so scary! I love all your new pics girl. You are sooo pretty and you have one gorgoeus little girl. Her hair looks like it lightened up some?!Its getting so long. Riley could be a model :DGuess WHAT???we have ROLLING! YAY i was more excited then she was. She rolled front to back 3x yesterday and today she rolled back to front 2x and I MISSED IT! I was bummed lol. But I am just glad that she is finally doing it. WOW Ryes talking? How exciting. Of couse she says DADA first lol. Daddys girl! I tell Maliya say 'MAMA' and she just smiles and laughs. Its soo cute. We have no talking for us. Maliya is in size 3 huggies for awhile now. I like them. I can buy a bigger box in that brand. Thats what I used with lana too. It really is a bummer that they dont make a bigger size in swaddlers. A tooth??? Can u see it popping thru? How has she been feeling? What do you give her for pain releif? I am just waitng for Mals to pop one thru. Nothing yet. I know she is teething tho. Maliya tries to get up on her knees, but falls down. Its soo cute. Rye might be an early crawler. UH OH get ur place child proof hahah! Well keep me posted on Riley. Take care girl!

poor baby girl! that rash is just horrible looking! : ( i hope she gets better soon! what did you introduce to her food wise? remember it's always the 2nd time a food is given, that allergies show up! i haven't given serenity anything new recently. only because i don't need her to react badly, especially because we're leaving next tuesday and i don't need anything to go wrong and cause us to miss our flight. poor little riley, it makes me sad to see her like that! : ( give her hugs for me ok? anywho, i just finished up the last of my stateside shopping. i got serenity a bunch of clothes and me too! lol hey i can't leave myself out all of the time right? so i went and got new jeans, 2 skirts, 5 blouses, a bathing suit, and some shoes. i still don't have a coat though...i think i'll be ok with just a hoodie. jon thinks that it's always cold, and yeah it's in the 30's over there...but i love the cold! lol i'm so excited to have our own home again! : )

hey erin! i'm so excited! i got mine and serenity's passport yesterday and we fly out to germany on march 25th! my husband signs for housing on monday too, so that worked out perfectly. oh, and yesterday serenity turned 6 months! YAY! to top it off, i went to visit my grandparents and my grandpa was sitting with me and serenity in the kitchen. and i said 'wave hello to grandpa serenity!' and then i waved my hand to show her. and then she picked up her arm and waved to him!!! then when my grandma woke up i told her to wave 'hi' and she did it again! now when she sees someone walk into the room, she waves. it's tooo freaking cute! : ) i'm so glad that i have an awesome memory to write down for her in her little memory book. because my grandpa was the first to see her wave, and he is a pretty old grandpa. he is 92 and i know, even though it breaks my heart to say it...he may not be here when we get back from germany. but i'm so happy that he got to see a moment of her growing up, and that i was there to see him so proud and happy of his great-grand daughter. not many people our age still have both sets of great grand-parents ya know? i'm having a hard time knowing that i may not get to say goodbye, but i know i have to go on with my life and be with my family whereever that is...i'm sorry i'm being a bit emotional. but i never really tell anyone how i feel...thanks for 'listening'. how is riley doing? is she crawling yet?! serenity does more like a bear crawl than a normal crawl...also are you still using pamper swaddlers for riley? i need to find another brand because serenity is outgrowing the size 2-3 but i do not like the pamper baby dry or the cruisers...i was thinking of trying the luvs first, then huggies...

I am glad I could help you girl lol! I know you are sooo excited to start her on foods. How is she doing with the spoon. I havent done cereal in awhile. Maliya did NOT like bananas lol. I got her to eat applesauce she seemed to like that. I will keep trying bananas tho. I will try a veggie today. I give you props on thinking about not finding out the gender on your next. UGH I had to know so as soon as I was 16 weeks I found out lol. It was killing me! It is a great suprise tho if you are willing to stick it out. When does your sil find out the sex? How Rye with tthe sitting up? Maliya is a pro. SHe has got oit down. Stil wont roll over tho. Howd you get Rye to roll over? I just dont know why she wont. I mean she is almost 6 months and nothing. I hope its ok?!!? Its has got to be cuz shes lazy. Maliya likes to jump on one leg in her jumperoo. She is so funny. The one legger hehe!Lana still WONT poop in the potty. She just refuses. AGH I am going crazy. Little stinker. So she just goes in a pullup. She has got the peeing down to a tee. Oh well. She will catch on eventually, I hope. She does wear her big girl panties all the time. So where do you like to shop for Riley? I like to go everywhere. oH hows the diaper rash? Did it go away? Oh yeah by the way you do NOT have to worry about not looking hot in your bikini girl. YOU ARE ONE HOTTT MAMA. Trust me you will have all the guys drooling over you!!LOL How R things between U and Lara? Better? WEll I Hope all is well. BYE

Hey Erin! No, I'm not in Germany yet. Jon left last Monday. I'll go whenever our passports get here, and who the heck knows when that will be! : ( Hopefully soon...anywho, can you believe our girls are going on 6 months?! It's just crazy isn't it?! I love watching Serenity learn new things and grow, but it's so sad to fold up newborn clothes and remember how small she was. But I wouldn't change it! : ) I'm waiting for the really fun part where I get to take her out swimming, or to the park, or baking cookies together. I hope she's a momma's girl, but I have a feeling that she's going to favor her daddy. LOL Only because Jon spoils her rotten! As for getting preggo, well March, and most likely April are out of the question because of the distance. And once I get there I'm going to finish my degree and finally get down to business with art. So pretty much it's gonna be on hold until we find a common ground on our home, lives, and routine.I'd like to try when Serenity turns one, I think I may just go off of BC around then and then just let things happen. More than likely the beginning of next year or mid year 2009. I want to be pregnant now, but I don't want to be hauling around a belly bump and Serenity while trying to enjoy Paris or Venice and all that. LOL Oh, and about the induction of your sis, well 30 weeks is of course waaaay too early. And it wasn't just about Jon leaving that got me induced, it was the fact that 7 days after having her I had no home! That, and I was VERY persistent. And I hate to say it Erin, but your sis needs to cross her fingers, toes and eyes about him coming back for the birth. They are not very baby-birth friendly once they are deployed. It's usually a given that if daddy is deployed you'll be having some other family there with you because they don't bend too much on sending them home. I hope for her and his sakes that they let him be there! I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers! And congrats to you SIL, I'm glad that she's having a healthy pregnancy. I'm sure the shower you throw will be wonderful! : )
