Well tommorrow is your BIG DAY!!!! YAY! I am so happy and excited for you. I hope all goes well for you and that you won't need a stinky c-section like I had to do and keep having to do..lol Awww your step daughter will soon come out of that phase but its really hard to have the patience when they are that little BELIEVE ME! My 4 year old acts like she is 14 which drives me insane. I am also trying to potty train my 2 year old before the baby gets here and it might sound funny but we just leave a long shirt on without any undies or diapers and when she acts fidgety she usually has to go and I set her on the potty. Idk if that would help your step daughter or not. It worked for my oldest too when she got potty trained. Well girl I better got stick my head in the freezer too! Its 91 degrees INSIDE of my house and I refuse to turn the ac on right now cuz I don't want to pay the ridiculous electricity bill prices. lol So if I need to cool off I just go lay in the kiddie pool. Its really not so bad cuz I am from Texas and its hella hotter there. lol Take Care n Good luck! ttyl

Awwww yea with your first its always so exciting. I remember I couldn't wait til the day I had Adriana. Sorry bout your step daughter acting up. Don't worry your def not alone. My oldest is so stubborn and she is always acting up. We have just started putting her in time out and letting her cry out her tantrums..ugh they can be a pain sometimes. I am feelling good right now but its pretty hot and I feel so tired all the time. lol

That is awesome! My sis had the same thing. She was induced and given an epidural and she said it wasn't to bad at all. I can't wait to see pics of your Raven Star up! YAY!!! Well good luck with everything hun. I wish you the best.

im hoping my labor will be fast too! lol. i think it should be unless she feels like being a brat. cus im +2, she doesnt have much to go. its the dilating thats the issue. im really ripe, but my cervix doesnt like to stretch :P heh. so about 4 days left for you then! :] ugh yeah. that doc is gross. my friend goes to my hospital but she has him! ewww. hah. i told her about that and shes like DAMN IM SWITCHING! my other friend who goes to my doc went in last night at 9pm, and she had him this morning at 10:45ish. he was so small. he was 6lbs 8oz. i want seven. i hope i get a seven! how big do you think ravens gunna be

oh, some doctors like to see you day before induction. my doctor gets called in for deliveries, thank god. lol. i dont want a random ass faggot doctor in my cooch. theres one doctor at my hospital that sticks his finger in your ass to check if you ripped. so glad i dont have him :P hahah. if i get induced, i want monday night. because my appt is monday, and if they say okay, lets induce you tomorrow, ill be up all night thinking and ill start getting really nervous and not want to do it. id laugh if she came monday night :P hah. but if she started to come monday night, he would still deliver her because she would probably not come til morning. unless youre one of those people that go from 5 to 10cm in 2 mins

i would get the epidural before the pitocin, but i sort of want them to break my water and see how she takes it. if i can avoid pitocin, then why not? and epidurals sometimes slow down labor, so i definately dont want that happening. so im going to wait til i seriously cannot stand any pain whatsoever. whens ur next appt?

well i know he will next week for sure. i said this earlier but my friend was due yesterday and her appt was the day before she was due, on tuesday, and he induced her the next day on her due date. so im hoping since my appt is the day before my due date, he might be like okay tomorrow at blah blah blah time, or if im lucky monday night :] we'll see what he says. the sooner the better because then im not going to be thinking about it as much and get all nervous.

lol. i knew that i was contracting before i got up there, but i didnt bother to count or anything. they were so close. random ass nurses kept coming in and were like "are you feeling your contractions?" it got so annoying i wanted to cry. since 4 different nurses asked me questions about my contractions, i was thinking "hey, maybe theyll keep me" but no. ugh. whatever. in less than a week ill have my baby :]

lol. i think im going to be induced tuesday too. but im not sure? my appt is monday, and im due tuesday. my friend that goes to my doctor had her appt yesterday, and shes being induced right now. well, has been for about 3 mins :P hah. so i think he does next day inductions? if so, ill be induced tuesday too :] i had a longgg day. they told me to go up because of my leaking that started at 2:30am, and my contractions went insane! they sent me home to wait it out and they said theyll expect me back tomorrow. YEAH RIGHT! and im still leaking..

he did a stretch and sweep and said i should go anyday. yeah right. ive been cramping from the time i got it done. but around 4:30 5ish so 24 1/2 to 25 hrs later they turned into contractions, and im still getting them. they arent anything to be getting excited over tho, so im not. :[

You going to the hospital then???? F*** them if they treat you like an idiot - they did me and then found out I was actually in preterm labor and almost had my baby at 28 weeks!!! They had to send me to ANOTHER HOSPITAL an hour away because my baby coulda died - thank god I didn't wait!!! NOw she's a healthy 8 lb spoiled little baby girl!!!

my last apt was thurs my feet are really swollen today and my hands a little but the nurse i talked to in the birthing center said that it should be fine as long as the baby is still moving around and said that they worry more about you if you dont swell

my advice to you is to lay on your left side for 30 mins to and hour and drink at least 2 - 8oz glasses of water. I have my hands and feet swell like this every night the Dr. told me its because i am pushing myself to much during the day so now i stay in bed till about 11 on my left side. Youll know if its serious because youll start to feel really sick like youve got the flu. Good luck

wierd i am freaked out about thet too tonite i called too they said that as longs as baby is still moving good i am fine and that my doc will check me at my apt on thrus and she checks you every weeks so you should be fine they check your urine each week and if the protien is out of whack then they do testfor preclampsia i believe

Call you L&D then... or better yet - just go in... They get paid to do their job - which is to keep you and baby safe. I'll be honest - some of the L&D nurses are total BITCHES and can make you feel silly... but I guarentee your doctor would rather you be safe than sorry...

Hi there - I'm not pregnant anymore - had my baby May 9th... But I saw your post about being really swollen. I would call your doctor (even if you have to call him on-call) and let him know how bad it is. He may want you to go to L&D to check for protein in your urine. I was swollen and had to be checked for toxemia which is very dangerous to both momma and baby... Good luck and keep me updated if you can.

hah. well since yesterdays walk, i do feel the contractions harder, which is a plus i suppose. i know i wont go into labor or anything, but eh. and it felt realllly good to walk, even tho my calves are killing me. like im more calm. its weird. im not all "GAH COME THE FUCK OUT" today. maybe it was the fresh air? and i got an amazing night sleep. maybe i should walk more often :P hah. i know ill be doing a lot of walking with her tho. 1. to lose weight and 2. because walking with a baby is adorable lol.

gas prices are no joke I hear ya. there is a good site I researched what does labor feel like and it really breaks it all down so if ur questioning if it's real go tp one of thoss sights, I am starting to have really bad period cramps too, but I haven't lost my plug or had any bloody show so I am gonna wait and see if it really gets worse then I will call l/d

the only 1st i feel she is coming on now is december. shes seriously never going to come out. im done with it all. grr. i can tell the difference, but i dont feel the need to worry unless theres insane pain. they got to 3 mins apart a few times, and the doctor yelled at me for not going in. he said even though i wasnt really in labor, i needed to go in. but i wasnt dying of pain so i didnt feel like i needed to.
