Try not to stress too much about the inducement, labor and delivery - just focus on being able to hold your little one soon and being DONE with being pregnant! I look forward to hearing all about it and reading your birth story. Looks like we are both having girls too! :0) So keep in touch and I will look forward to hearing all about it in a few days!

Well now they are waiting until the 20th to induce. She's measuring a little small so they want to wait until 39 weeks. I'm dialated to 2 though so hopefully I'll go before then. Good luck tomorrow and I'll be checking your page for your birth story.

My doctor wanted to check this week to see if I'm dilating but I begged him not to, lol. I had an internal done early on at 33 weeks due to cervix pain (it was only the baby) and it was sooo painful. But everyone is saying it shouldn't hurt that much now since the baby should have dropped lower by then and he won't have to go up so high. I'm just freaking out about the exam. Aside from the pain, people posted how the exams cause you to spot/bleed after and one woman said the exam actually caused her to lose her plug. I still have mine to the best of my knowledge, unless I somehow passed it in the toilet or something and didn't realize, but I doubt that. So my guess would be that I'm not dilated at all or if I am not by much. I just want things to happen naturally, not because my doctor is down there aggravating things, you know. But I will find out next week at my appointment since he is being so adamant about checking, ugh! Thanks for the info and good luck! Keep me posted.

hey i went to my appointment, but this time i had a diff doc, and she was really nice, so i got the courage to ask. and she said that she could but that i have to wait till next week (38). then she will check if my cervix is softened, and if it is, she will induce. kinda wanted it sooner, but its ok. itll b the week before grad. thanks for the lil push i needed.;)

That is so great of your doctors. Did your friends ever have any problems with induction? One of my friends had a 48+ labor after being induced but she was past her due date... she said she hated it, but I think everyone is different. I dont think they would induce me, my little girl has always been on the small side. I will find out how close we are tomorrow morning. If they push the due date back, I think I might cry. Hope things are going good,

ive wanted to ask my doc. because i want to go to my high school graduatuion, which is the fridy after my due date, and i dont want to go being pregnant cause im scared to go into labor at graduation.lol. but im scared to ask her cause she is the type of doc. that doesnt understand, for ex. im a cashier (on my feet all the time), i asked her last week if she could write me an excuse, saying that i can work the 40 hrs anymore, and to cut them back to at least 15-20. she said she could only do that if it was a medical reason. i felt really stupid afterwards for aking, im just not the type of gal to ask, you know, im really shy, and im scared to look demanding, impatient, or stupid. what should i do, i really want to go to my graduation. i worked so hard for my diploma, i want sme type of recogniton, you know. ive had a good pregnancy, the only problem i have encountered is that, for the past 3 weeks ive been losing a lot of weight. but i eat and eat. besides that the pregnancy has gon good. do you think you can ask you doc, what it consist of, and what would a reason be to not induce. if you can.

well, I am very nervous about the amnio, but I am sure it will all be fin as long as I have my huby with me. I am not going to be induced. I am being taken csection because I am having my tubes tied also, and I had to have an emergency csection with my first. good luck to you, I will keep you posted.
