I'm telling you, we're living parallel lives! : ) Thank you so much for opening up yourself and your experiences to me. I am 34 weeks today and just looking forward to this final countdown. So far I've had no signs of preterm labor, etc but am going in twice a week begining tomorrow for fetal monitoring b/c twins are considered high risk. I'm kind of annoyed about the whole process though because I feel like they are just doing it for the insurance $ and I don't want them to have so many opportunities to find things they think might be wrong and then scare my doctor into inducing me early. I'm very nervous about that. I also wanted to ask you if you're breastfeeding?

Thanks for adding me. Congratulations on your babies! I hope all is well with your family. We are having twins too and found out at the first ultrasound as well. It is also our first pregnancy. We were recently married in September and I guess this was a late wedding present. ; ) What a shocker. Anyways, I'm hoping you'll let me use you as a resource since you will have gone through everything a few months before I do. : ) Let me know if you're comfortable with that or not. Thanks!

Congrats on your twins. About your response to SIDS~~I know it's hard, but you really have to let it go. Trust that someone Higher has it under control. My little one is 4 1/2 months old and I truly believe in my heart he's gonna be around a LONG time after mommy and daddy are gone. G-d blessed us very quickly with him so I know He's got a special plan for all of us. I conceived in only 4 weeks. As a matter of fact, it was this time last year when I found out he was here. So anyway, I know it's easier said than done, but push the SIDS stuff away! Enjoy those precious angels you have and LOVE being a mommy. I know I do! I have my days, but they are VERY few! My son is really a good baby!! Be blessed and congrats again!

oh yes, I am ready for them out of me I am just really nervous about the C Section, recovery with twins and basically about being a mom and having two children at once dependent on me! I wasnt as nervous about being a mom but the past week has had me alittle freaked out , I guess because its so close now! I am so looking forward to being able to get at least 1-2 hours of restful sleep as now its just really uncomfortable! Are you up and about walking and picking them up? Is it hard with the incision on your belly? Can you believe you have your twins!!! I am so happy for you!

Congratulations on the beautiful baby!

I'm due to have my baby this Thursday by planned C-section, and am REALLY scared as I've never had any type of operation or anything before. I'd love to hear from you if you can spare 5 minutes from that lovely bundle! Lol. Am I right to be so scared or am i being a wuss??

What happened at your appointment that made you have them that day?????
I will be 35 weeks on Monday and I am getting really anxious. I want to see them, but I want them to be healthy and have good weights.
Two weeks ago they were 4lbs 6oz and 4lbs 4oz, so they should be a good size now.
anyway, good luck and when you get a moment (which may be a while) let me know what happened.

hey I saw your message on the food board. I think I read somewhere that store bought mayo is perfectly fine, because it is pasteurized. So unless you were whipping up some gourmet mayo at home from scratch, you should be absolutely fine :)

I am really torn as to what 2 do. My O.B. has given me the option of trying to deliver Twin A breech. I haven't heard of that before with twins and I am not sure what to do. My doctor will set a date on Tuesday when I see him. It will be for the week of the 14th. My fear is that I will go into labor before then. If I go into labor I just get the doctor on call and he said most of them will just do a c-section. I was 3-4cms on Tuesday. Are these your first babies? I know exactly what you mean by wanting your body back!! lol
