We thought we were only having one until we went in for our Ultrasound to find out the sex... Discovered there were two little ones in there.

It's a girl and a boy. Our little girl is being a bully and pushing our poor little boy to the back so she gets all the room :).

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

Had the babies a week ago. One boy, one girl! I guess we have even more in common now. Spooky. Anyway, how's it going for you? I need tips now more than ever. Do they sleep thru the night yet? Do you have them on a schedule? Do tell.

Well, we have a date set for inducing and it's next Thursday. Unless they come sooner, I guess that's gonna be as natural as I get.

I know. Me and my hubby are totally getting anxious now. We turn 37 weeks on Wednesday and hope to have them any day besides Friday the 13th. (That's when I'll probably end up having them, right?) As of Wed they'll be considered full term so I just want them to come by themselves before they go too far and my doctor insists on inducing. (prob week 38 or 39) I don't know how but I've been managing fine and it seems like maybe I'm making it too comfortable because it seems like they don't wanna come out!

Unless your babies are not gaining weight , jaundice or have a medical reason there is no reason to wake for night feedings. The 3-4 hours is daytime, night feeds you let them sleep (((()))) Feed when they wake YOU up :) You WANT them to sleep through the night soon as they will :) hugs ~ congrats!!! My sister and SIL both have twins, one set is 2 and the other 5 :)

Got it. Thanks for letting me know. I'll ask my doc about those pills.

Thanks for the advice!! I know it is hard to know when they are full and when they are just a lil hungry! She is actually pretty good with the bottle.. She will take up to 4oz sometimes!! And other times its only 2-3. But she is a good eater. I just make the max amount I know she will eat.. and have it ready everytime. That way she has the most she will eat.. and sometimes it comes in handy! She is doing better in the crib. She did 3 hours last night.. woke and ate and went back down for another 3 hours :) So.. I am hoping she is getting used to it. I am putting her in there for her naps too.. and letting her fuss herself to sleep. Which is hard.. but hopefully it will pay off :) Thanks for the help though!!

I've had to eliminate salt from my diet or my hands and feet look like 4 little balloons. Even with limited salt they are still bigger, I know b/c my rings and shoes no longer fit, but if I add salt to the equation it hurts to even walk on my swollen feet. Luckily I'm managing to control the salt and just deal with the growth without the added balloon effect or pain. At our last u/s (about 2 weeks ago) they were measuring at 5 lbs 1 oz and 5lbs 12oz. But I really don't want to induce or do a c-section. I REALLY just want them to ome out when they're ready by themselves. Luckinly I think my doctor's on the same page but I guess we'll see. I'm planning on breastfeeding and was wondering whether or not I needed to buy a pump or not and how fancy of one. I'm thinking I'll just buy a $50 single one and hopefully won't need to use it that much. How did you're milk dry up so fast? Just stress? I'm so paranoid that my milk will dry up without me wanting it to and I won't be able to breastfeed.

I'm telling you, we're living parallel lives! : ) Thank you so much for opening up yourself and your experiences to me. I am 34 weeks today and just looking forward to this final countdown. So far I've had no signs of preterm labor, etc but am going in twice a week begining tomorrow for fetal monitoring b/c twins are considered high risk. I'm kind of annoyed about the whole process though because I feel like they are just doing it for the insurance $ and I don't want them to have so many opportunities to find things they think might be wrong and then scare my doctor into inducing me early. I'm very nervous about that. I also wanted to ask you if you're breastfeeding?

roxyshad - Wednesday, 21 May
Thanks for adding me. Congratulations on your babies! I hope all is well with your family. We are having twins too and found out at the first ultrasound as well. It is also our first pregnancy. We were recently married in September and I guess this was a late wedding present. ; ) What a shocker. Anyways, I'm hoping you'll let me use you as a resource since you will have gone through everything a few months before I do. : ) Let me know if you're comfortable with that or not. Thanks!
