Well let me start off by saying congrats on your two little ones! How exciting for you. Well Bakersfield sucks and is hot and not so much windy most of the time but mucky, and I will be huge pregnant right smack in the middle of summer OMG I am so going to suffer ! LOL ! Edwards and the desert areas are very windy and just well desert ! Its cool to know someone on here who even knows Bakersfield is real ! LOL ! Keep in touch !

I thought teachers got paid mat leave?! that is nutty, you should send them a picture and call it a day lol ;) my son is in first grade and his teacher left before halloween & returned after winter break. do the kids try ur nerves. during hw time my son can really bring out the beast in me so i can just imagine what a class full would be like lol. take care lady ;)

Thanks for the suggestion about the couch, but I have tried that too :( The recliner is okay for about an hour or two, which is better than nothing but I'm like a zombie unless I get at least a few consecutive hours. With my first pregnancy, I didnt have this problem until the last 2-3 weeks, but I'm much bigger this time! I'm hoping the next 10 weeks aren't like this! Oh well....I guess we just need to get the rest where & when we can for now :) Congrats on your twins! Take care...

Thanks for the comment about your U/S lengths. Interestingly, some people still have hour long U/Ss and others a quick 20 minute one to take the measurements. I still have to find out what will happen on mine this coming Friday. Every other medical procedure unless an emergency, we have a say in what we would also like to happen. I personally would like a quick scan and get out of there. I know it's important to see how the boys are doing I just don't need all the frills. I hope all is well with your pregnancy! Blessings.

Congratulations!!! I'm expecting twins (due date - 4/3) too! Not sure if you are interested in resources regarding pregnancy with multiples, but I do swear by the one written by Dr. Barbara Luke. It is an amazing resource on especially for appropriate weght gain and nutrition to take you through a healthy and prolonged pregnancy as the major risk would be to have premature babies with such a low birth weight. Anyway, check it out!

Hey not sure how to reply so just came to your page. I went on Friday and it was so weird. They said there is only one but the weirdest thing for me as that they said it was a girl. I have been very blessed to know what we were having before with the last 4 children and I still feel very off about the whole thing. I didn't feel like he looked around a lot. But we are 18 weeks and the baby measured a little bigger at 19 weeks. Maybe it is just a bigger baby. I just have no idea cuz I feel so off with this one. Thanks for the reply. Holley

i cant wait to find out thats why im gonna try to wait it out for only 3weeks to see if i get bigger faster from what i read u do get larger and is quite noticable in few weeks times so if i do then i will mention to my doc when i take my daughter in for her shots and ask if she would send me fo r ultrasound while i wait to go see my ob.. it would have been sooner but she forgot to refer me sooner and that he pretty busy.. go figure eh she apologized so im sure she will send me for one.. i can feel alot of movements .. so ive had some tell me im further along than i think i am i said no way im pretty reg and never in my other preg i ever bled in my pregnancy.. so either im pretty fat and bloated or something is up it sure is getting me pretty curious but again ill keep my family on their toes too....tee hee arent i mean .. ok ill let u know soon enough

hey im curious and have a question for you, since u didnt find out about twins did you have a strange feeling that you are having twins or strange inking that u know something is up.. aside looking hugher than normal.i would love to hear what u have to say as im wondering about myself and im 13 weeks now but bigger than normal but have not been to docs yet as my first appt not til apreil 1st and ill be 20 weeks then i going nuts and will wait few weeks and see if i get bigger fast then ill go to my doc to see what she says and get her to send me for ultrasound while i wait for my ob doc

Well my last scan was 6 weeks ago today and my next scan is next friday so I thaught that it was a bit wierd especially since id been quite ill for about 3 months!! When We go in next week im going to find out if I can have more regular check ups especially since they'll be getting bigger!!!!

Try the pre-natal cradle. They are $ 50 to $80 depending on which one you want but I just won one on ebay for $15 used but I can't wait to get it. I will let you know how it works. Congratulations and Good Luck!

hey there,
just wanted to let you know that they do sell a pregnancy brace (I think that is what it is called) They sell it at pharmacies. It holds your belly up. I have not purchased on, but I am heading that way. I am only 23 weeks but I am getting heavy and I am carrying pretty low! Hope that helps

Frankly, I don't know about pump since I never used one. I was sitting at home with babies, never had a reason to pump milk. And excesses just leaked from me - I needed only to squeeze a bit. Ask around, maybe someone knows. But sucking babies will stimulate for sure - proven:)

One more thing - when you'll start feeding, drink a lot of water. Just put bottle near your and drink often. And rest a lot - don't start running around trying to do everything. When baby is sleeping, you take a nap too. And first days at least, don't try to stick to the feeding schedule. You'll need to establish the balance between how much your babies demand milk and how much you produce. First day you may think that nothing is coming. And then your breast begin to swell noticeably and finally there is so much you start wishing there were less:) But if you'll start to use bottle, your organism will think babies need less and less. Also it is easier for baby to suck bottle, so they will suck breast less laborious. Which may result in reducing milk production.
