does the complete physical includes the ultrasound? or u have to ask for one they really didn't mention an ultrasound they just told me about the physical.

Don't worry. I dont' feel pregnant either anymore. In the beginning my bb's killed me. Not anymore. just get full easy/sleepy/heartburn. Don't worry, heard we won't really feel prego til we get bigger!

When is your appt? I called the day I found out and they got me in when I was 6 wks. But maybe b/c i've m/c'd before and am requiring progesterone to help me hold this little bean.

Thank you so much. At the moment I am really happy because I have just seen the scan and the heartbeat is still good. The doctor thinks there is nothing to worry about at the moment, so will have to try to relax a little!

I guess I spoke to soon with no symptoms! I had m/s yesterday morning and have been very emotional...cranky in the mornings and crying at night. No reason for the crying other than the hormones I guess...but all of these symptoms seemed to pick up right at 9 weeks. I guess I should feel luck that I had it so easy for the first 8 though! Best of luck and hope you continue to feel well!!

Hi there
Just got back from the hospital and yay! saw the baby and heartbeat, what a wave of emotion i felt, i actually started laughing! whoop!
So... at least I can now relax and be happy, i'm so happy to have had a scan early on, especially as most people over here in the UK don't get anything at all till 12 weeks.

Hi there,
Thanks for your message, a couple pf weeks ago I had some bleeding, not too much, not enough to fill a pad but it worried me, I wen to A&E, had a transvaginal ultrasound and everything looked normal but no embryo! I was 6 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I have still been having pregnancy symptoms since then but the gynae told me that I can still have symtoms for a month after a miscarry as it takes the body a while to figure out that the baby has died.
Anyway I have another ultrassound on Tuesday when I'll be 8 weeks and 2 days, I just hope they can see the embryo this time!

I get real gassy at night- and it's not the kind where I can release, it's the kind that gets trapped and it hurts like hell! So I try to eat a little earlier, around 7ish. Maybe if I eat later, then take some Tums, I can escape the gassiness AND the sickness! I'll have to try that! Thanks!

Oh wow then you're one of the lucky ones to never feel sick! I wish I could throw up but I just feel nauseous all day :( My doc tried to find the heartbeat with that doppler thingamajiggy but when she couldn't, I panicked! Even though I know it's still kinda early to hear it, I still wanted to see SOMETHING! LOL! So she let me do the ultrasound. 16 weeks seems kinda far for a 1st ultrasound. I thought maybe 12 weeks?

OMG isn't that just nervewrecking, not being able to see or hear a heartbeat! I'm sure if you would've insisted on a vaginal ultrasound, just to see that little flicker woulda eased your worries alot. But as long as you "feel" pregnant, I'm sure everything is fine! Congrats!

I saw your post in the "sex" area and just thought id write to you. I was the same way in the beginning. I didn't want to have sex i didnt want to be touch unless it was him holding me and making me feel good. The truth of the matter is, is that we want them to hold us because our hormones are telling us we need all the attention we can get. Sex on the other hand isnt so appealing because we feel like we are going to ht or disrupt the baby. Honestly if you are having a normal pregnancy so far (no high blood pressure, bleeding etc) its perfectly ok to have sex. Sex does NOT cause miscarriages. My only advice is don't have "rough" sex. It could cause alot of pain and discomfort.
Another thing to remember is that as soon as you become pregnant your cervix enlarges with blood vessels so having sex can sometimes break a blood vessel. This will cause a little bleeding. However the doctor told me that if you saturate a pad with blood to go in.
Your still seven weeks and maybe sex isnt that appealing because you are still getting used to hormones etc, just relax and accept that your body is doing craazzzyy things. I am 25 almost 26 weeks and still dont want my husband touching me that much. Thats because of the ligament pain im having.

yea am also very sensitive to smells, i also threw up twice yesterday in the morning and then after dinner it was awful... is like everything makes me wanna throw up

WE have been "doing it" comfortably with no bleeding. Will your first wisit be for a prego test or u/s? Today is just my first official prego test at the doctors office.
