Funny how when you stop trying

so hard you get pregnant!

This is our 2nd pregnancy.

Our first ended between 6 and 7 weeks last June.

We are keeping our fingers crossed things work out differently this time around!

First visit with the OB: May 16th (see my blog for details)

May 30th got to listen to the heartbeat!!

First time we got to see out little baby was at the ultrasound August 13th!!

Next visit with the OB October 7th.

some drs only like giving 1 ultrasound, all drs vary.. If you ask they might.. If you can, try getting a 3D ultrasound, they are pricy but worth it. I would have gotten one but theres none near where I live and it would cost me way over $1000 (including plane ticket and hotel) to have one done

i ended up having 4 ultrasounds with this pregnancy, and 6 with Lucas... My Dr. feels that if the woman wants to see the baby they should LOL he also makes you get one as soon as u go there to confirm your pregnancy to make sure its not tubal or anything

oh yeah my cousin told me she gained 40lbs too but she looks great now after getting in the gym and eating right. She was a stick before hand so she suffered from a lot of stretch marks and all, but she tighten all that up. She's my inspiration. We can do it though!! I don'y want to gain more than 25 either...I've never been this big. But I know...I have an excuse

The physiotherapist should give you a belt, its has three velcro straps and a large pad, the pad goes to your back, and the first strap goes under your bump, the second one overlaps the first one slightly at the top of the strap and the third one on top of the 2nd strap, all overlaid picking up the bump- i didnt like that belt because it kept slipping and i was itching due to the velcro on the body. But i have found great relief from the tubigrip-its like a bodyshaper, that women wear at xmas after adding a few pounds on but wanna wear 'that' dress so it pulls in and nips here and there. It pulls on like a skirt, can go over bump or under dependant on personal preference- i pull over as too much pressure on pubic bone, and then half way down the thigh, so all in tight and restricts movement. Now this is uncomfortable for the few times of wearing it, and its thick so can be hot. But after the 4th time of wearing it the pain isnt as drastic and it really works-its my fave thing plus the crutches.
I had to wait 3 weeks for my physio appt, and only at the appt can you get the support(unless different in usa), so if you need one in the mean time i know that you would be able to buy one from a maternity shop- like Mothercare in the UK, approx �35.But still continue to do the exercises, and the walking upstairs etc. x x

Hey mommy's out there.. I have a question..
My daughter is 3 months old and sleeps A LOT. Some days shes up for most part of the day but a day like today she's sleeps. She slept last night from 11pm to 930 this morning. I fed her and right back to sleep she went till about 130 I woke her up to eat kuz i'm nursing. and then right back to sleep.. Should I be concerned??

I'm great...What about you girl? I found out today I gained a total of 17 lbs so far :( I hope it doesn't go up too much more!
