Funny how when you stop trying

so hard you get pregnant!

This is our 2nd pregnancy.

Our first ended between 6 and 7 weeks last June.

We are keeping our fingers crossed things work out differently this time around!

First visit with the OB: May 16th (see my blog for details)

May 30th got to listen to the heartbeat!!

First time we got to see out little baby was at the ultrasound August 13th!!

Next visit with the OB October 7th.

Its a boy! I'm still kinda in shock b/c I thought all along it was a girl but I know God knows best. Just tired of boys! I have 2 nephews and wanted a change in the family. I drank 2 teas when we went to eat before and it was jumping like crazy. Got to see it sucking amniotic fluid and swallowing. Also was waving hands. It was amazing. They said everything looked good. It was 9 oz. Guess I can start calling it a "he" huh:) Need help with names. Nothing sounds good with last name Hayes!

I have no idea! lol! It is just a single, electric pump...It came with the base to rest it in, a bottle, and a charging cord. My aunt got it for me, as I was living overseas, and the $300 one out here was double the price there...

I have the medela single electric pump...I registered for the double, too. I have the same Hi hope you do! lol I used all kinds of bottles with it...but you can always pump into the bottle it comes with, and then pour that into another bottle....extra work, but whatever.

Holy shit hunny! You poor thing! You probably stole mine:) I haven't grown any and thats what I was really looking forward to considering I'm barely a B. My hubby says I have but I don't think so. Hopefully later and then they'll stay with me. Hoping to God they don't sag and just look like a flap of skin. I'm fixing them if so!!! You better be wearing a sports bra at night!

what kind of pump did you register for? I recommend the medela....its totally you get what you pay for....

I'm okay today a bit week and seem to not be able to get up and do anything as I have NO energy...lol. I started mine lastnight well it only has two things on it...haha!

yeah i definitely read it, and it says some basic things that i've read on other sites, so i'm going to definitely try it. the only interesting twist is that we're having a homebirth and so i wonder about how to keep the dog and baby apart enough for him to sniff some of her stuff first.

Imagine a vacuum cleaner on them while they are sensitive right now! Trust me, toughen them up. It hurts, but in the long run, it helps once the baby is here. Also, are you going to be using a breastpump? That'll have a bit of an affect, as well. Let me know, and we can go into that, lol!

With my first I gave a pacifier because my daughter was in NICU for 13 days so it soothed her. She kept it til she was 2 and I finally had to take it away cold turkey. My second wouldn't take one and this time I am going to try to breastfed exclusively so I am not going to use a pacifier for 4 weeks at least and then I might try but not sure yet. Thanks for the compliment on my family.
