This is my first and I tested positive in my first trimester so they didn't even test me again. I am a little worried because I think they should induce me to prevent my water from breaking before I am hooked up to the antibiotics. My dr said that I just have to have them an hour before I deliver though. I know I will never forgive myself if she comes out and gets sick so I have been hounding my dr about it. She assures me everything will be ok.

thanks! i will let you know when i find out for sure. hopefully june 24th if the baby cooperates. i scheduled another u/s that day i will be 19 weeks 2 days so wish me luck

That would be spectacular! I'm secretly wishing for week 37 or 38 as well, but I'm sure I'll be one of the unlucky few that gets stuck to 42 weeks :-(

Everything gives me heartburn...including water. That's why I don't blame it on any food or drink; I just blame it on the pregnancy :-) Overall my pregnancy hasn't been too bad...Major back problems and pain, but since they gave me medication, I've been much happier!! Just counting down the weeks and days at this point. Of course I'm uncomfortable, but I think I remember it being worse at the end with my son...I'm carrying my daughter super low so I can breathe easy, and I've been staying cool and out of the heat...Pool and AC! I just hate the fact I have to work until my water breaks :-(

Mine worked with the first dose...i woke up the next morning with no heartburn...i took one right before bed, so I'm not sure how long it took to kick in...But yeah, 4 bottles of Tums sounds like me too!!! Until Zantac anyway :-)

I suffered an entire pregnancy and did not know that...i was so thankful when my doc told me that...i would eat TUMS all day every day and still have it...Get Zantac 150...normal people can take 2 a day, but my doc just told me one per 24 hours before bed...hope this helps!! lemme know!! Good luck for some much needed relief and sleep :-)

Zantac will relieve you of heartburn better than anything else I've tried and my baby doc is the one who told me to take it...i swear i had the worst heartburn before and one of those cures me for 24 hours...i take one each night before bed...try it!

No, we decided that there are too many risks involved and will opt for a c-section instead.
