A Little About Me

I have 2 beautiful girls that I am so lucky enough to stay home with. I also have a wonderful husband that I have been married to for 6 1/2 yrs. now. Our oldest daughter is 5 1/2 years old. She's a great big helper and loves her new baby sister soooo much. The newest addition to our family is now 9 months old. She's such a great baby and is just so cuddly! I'd love to chat with anyone who wants to chat with me. I really love this site!!! :)

August 2008

Yet another month has past. Where does the time go?? Let's see my baby girl started Kindergarten this month and lost her first tooth!! I'm so excited but, a little sad too. She's just suppose to stay little forever, ya know! :P And my baby baby girl is growing like a weed. She loves to stand up on things and always heads right for the stair case! I've so got my hands full with that girl. And since she's so cute, it makes it so hard! :) Now I just gotta wait and see what's in store for me next month. I wonder what the girls will do new this month!? Guess we'll see!!!! :D

July 2008

So I can't believe my little baby girl is already 9 months old this month! Time sure does fly. Big Sister and her are getting along so great. And just this last week the baby started crawling and pulling herself up holding onto things! Now the fun begins! :P I love every minute of it though. My girls are truly the best and I feel so lucky!

Miley's BIRTH STORY

I WAS PLANNED TO BE INDUCED ON WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 17TH AT 8 AM. THE HOSPITAL ENDED UP BEING FULL SO ACTUALLY DIDN`T GET CHECKED IN UNTIL 3PM! STARTED PITOCCIN RIGHT AWAY AND INTO THE NIGHT WENT MY LABOR. GOT AN EPIDURAL ABOUT 3 AM AND ALL WAS GREAT. AT 5 AM I WAS READY TO PUSH AND SO FELT IT!! THE DOCTOR WASN`T THERE YET SO I LITERALLY HAD TO HOLD MY LEGS/KNEES TOGETHER SO I WOULDN`T PUSH!! I WAS SO MAD. SO THEY GAVE ME ANOTHER SHOT OF PAIN MEDS IN MY EPIDRAL. AFTER ABOUT A HALF HOUR, I WAS PAIN FREE AGAIN. AND THEN OF COURSE MY DR. SHOWED UP. AND GUESS WHAT SHE WANTED ME TO PUSH AND I COULDN`T FEEL A THING!! SO SHE TURNED THE EPIDURAL OFF. IT TOOK ABOUT A HALF OF AN HOUR FOR THAT TO WEAR OFF. SO FINALLY IT WAS TIME TO PUSH! AND AFTER 3 PUSHES OUT SHE CAME AT 7:12 am ON OCTOBER 18TH. AND I FELT ALL 9LBS. 5OZ AND 21 INCHES OF HER COME OUT! SO WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT KIND OF PAIN. BUT, OH SO WORTH IT!! MOMMY, DADDY AND BIG SISTER ARE SO IN LOVE WITH OUR NEW ADDITION!!

Hey!
I'm right there with you on the climbing the stairs thing...This morning LIly tried to grab the gate and it fell over on her on the stairs.Geez...I gotta watch that child 24/7! :)
I swear she's gonna walk any day now..she's standing up on her own and doing like squats w/o touching ne thing so it's just a matter of time and she'll take off.
Her two front teeth are trying to come through, so she's been a litle fussy, fun fun :)
Well hope you have a good Thursday, tomorrow is Friday!
We're going to the Cubs baseball game tomorrow, I'm excited :)

our visit was good.. shes doin really good.. they actually got a new little kitten.. such a cute thing!

glad to hear yall are startin to feel better.. hopefully yall wont get sick again this year!... seems like ya had enough to hold ya over til next year

its odd with the solid thing.. maybe shes just teethin.. i dunno.. last night she did eat two of those little graduates *veenie weenie* lookin things.. forget what theyre called.. had a couple mini rice cakes.. and some turkey stew.. oh and some fruit bits.. so i dunno maybe its a mood thing or teethin thing.. who knows!.. i make myself crazy tryin to figure her out sometimes!..

anyways sounds like miley is beginning to wean herself?..

well girlie.. i better get.. babys nappin so i have just a few minutes to myself

hey girlie.. how are yall doin?... cant believe she brought sick kids over!.. i dont think thats cool.. my aunt did that when we were younger.. brought her daughter over with PINK EYE!.. we of course all got it.. my mom wasnt too happy..

well were gonna go visit my gramma today after hubby gets off work.. i havent seen her in a couple months which is so sad cuz she lives only about 30 minutes away...

other than that not much goin on here.. baby is refusing her solids.. well anything that isnt yogurt puffs or cheerios.. dunno what to do about alla that.. hopefully its a phase that shell pass thru soon!..

we had a boring weekend.. hubby was cranky.. baby was fussy.. and we didnt do much.. he played video games most of saturday.. i cleaned all of sunday.. and he got called into work.. so im here with baby who woke up at 345 this morning.. and is now taking her 1st nap.. ill prolly nap with her sometime today..

hey girl... things are pretty good.. im so looking forward to this three day weekend... weve got alot to get done around the house.. my ''honey-do'' list is longer than my arm Lol!!.. hopefully it will be a productive weekend..

for the past two nights baby girl has been sleepin really well.. she did have a mild fever last night.. and has been refusing her solids (except for finger snacks).. so im thinkin it has to do with teething.. poor thing!.. i was so hopin to have a break from the whole thing..

thats so exciting your daughter lost her 1st tooth!.. i remember being all excited to wake up in the morning to see what the tooth fairy had left me.. im sure she was the same Lol!.. too cute!

yea cox is ridiculous.. i actually called them 1st thing this morning cuz our tv was fracturing and freezing and i was/am totally fed up.. and i threatened to switch to dish.. and she credited our account 95 bucks! who0 ho0 Lol!.. she said to call every time it happens and well be credited.. which is nice but still doesnt help with the frustration of being in the middle of a show and have it freeze!.. so were still lookin into dish..

anyways im so glad shes lovin school.. thats really neat.. i personally HATED school Lol..

my daughter has 7 teeth and they seem to have taken a break.. but that doesnt seem to be helpin with the sleepin issues.. she actually slept great last night.. didnt wake up once and slept until 9 this mornin.. it was nice!

anyways.. i gotta get her down for a nap and get in the shower.. so ill ttyl

im so glad kaylyn liked kindergarten.. i bet she had a ton of fun..

sleep is a joke in this house right now!.. for the past 5 nights.. shes woken up wanting to play.. like last night.. 3 and a half HOURS before she went back down.. and she woke not even 2 hours after goin to sleep.. it was like she just napped!.. i dont get it and i dont know how to stop it!.. its makin me nuts!

i get so frustrated with it.. oh well.. this too shall pass huh?..

Oh my goodness :) Those are cute Kindergarten pix :) I bet it felt weird huh? Were you sad?
Our weekend was good, did a lot of things actually...We were hardly home at all...
My husband leavs at 4 in the morning and I usually go back to bed after he leaves, but some little girl was in her crib standing and bouncing up and down crying..Oh boy...so I went in there..and played with her until 5:30 and then she slept until 6:30 when I had to wake her up to get ready to leave. Needless to say I didnt get much sleep, haha...She NEVER wakes up that early.so I don't know what trigger'd that this morning..
But hey I got the house cleaned while she slept for that hour :) Stuff I never find time to do...so that was good.
Well anyway hope you have a good one, and slow internet? yuck! That is the most frustrating thing ever! lol

Oh man, the double stroller :) Lily is the same way..I"ll take her for walks and I'll end up pushing an empty stroller and carrying her in one arm ! haha. She likes to try and crawl out..or scoot down or what not :)
Hope you're having a good weekend! Last night our friend proposed to his girlfriend so it was a fun night :) Oh to be newly engaged again, lol..where'd the time go ?
I had to work a 1/2 day today at work,we're on a rotating schedule and it's my turn..i hate working Saturdays. You don't get a single phone call and I pretty much surf the internet the whole time, what a waste, lol.

thats really cool hubby is takin the day off so he can meet her new teacher too.. how excited she must be!.. hopefully everything goes well and she really likes her new teacher..

i try to make my lunch when i make my daughters so we both eat together.. for some reason she really doesnt like to eat her solids alone.. which is fine by me cuz it reminds me to eat.. and hopefully it will help me gain some weight!.. im like 10lbs below the weight id like to be..

.. its frustrating!!

anyways who0 ho0 its friiiiday!!.. dunno what im all excited about tho.. hubby may have to work tomorrow.. which is great on one hand cuz its time and a half so its a bigger check.. buuuuut it would mean only one day together

.. he got bit on his little toe and it swelled up so bad.. it looked like a veenie weenie Lmao!.. i told him he should see a doctor but he wants to be a ''man'' and tough it out

oh im sure miley will have tons of fun too!.. i was just asking if they had anything for a one year old cuz i think itd be fun to take a little trip over there and have a chance to just be a kid for a couple days

i cant believe you had 7 months of morning sickness!.. i had 4 and still dont know why they call it MORNING sickness .. mine lasted ALL DAY! Lol.. hopefully with my next i wont have it so bad.. cant imagine having to chase a little one around while feelin so yucky!..

my daughters yellin stuff is makin me nuts!.. its hard to have a conversation.. or even just hear yourself think when theyre yellin like that!.. shes been good today tho.. we had a really good night and shes nappin .. who0 ho0 for me!

10 months huh? Isn't that crazy..makes me kinda want another "baby" but there's no way I could do it right now...she's growing so fast! Lily will be 10 months on Friday, I can't blv it! Almost a year already! Time Flies!

).. thats funny how miley was at the mall.. my daughter is the opposite.. she sits so quietly in her stroller sometimes i have to check to make sure she didnt fall asleep.. desiree also seems bashful tho.. we took her to hubbys grammas the other day.. and she just sat on my lap with her head against my chest.. and anytime his gramma would talk to her she turned her head or buried it Lol.. too precious!!.. well happy 10 months to miley!!.. cant believe its already time to start thinkin about the 1st birthday!.. what do yall have planned for mileys 1st?.. were thinkin a quiet get-together with immediate family.. and maybe go to the zoo or something since *hopefully* the weather will have cooled down a bit (even tho it was still 90 degrees when i brought her home mid-november!).. anyways girlie.. get back to me!!..
