Not quite sure what I am suppose to write in this section so I will just tell you a little bit about myself and our situation. I am 18 weeks 3 days pregant with my second child. I have a wonderful 4 year old son who is completely excited to have a brother or a sister come June. Even though says he prefers a brother. LOL
My partner is an absolutely awesome man and we are very excited to be pregant. He graduated from law school in May of last year. He is now working and studying very hard for his Texas bar exam which will take place in Feb.
He is originally from Texas so we moved here the beginning of November. I am originally from Minnesota and I have a very close family so it is a little hard being away from my support system.
We have an ultrasound appointment scheduled for January 17 and can hardly wait to find out the sex of the baby. Hopefully the baby will cooperate with us! I wish all of you the best of luck.

Well we went for our ultrasound this morning. We are having a perfect baby girl. Everything is in the right spot and she has the correct number of extremities! Thank you God! I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I pretty much knew I was having a girl anyways but it is such a relief to find out everything looks normal. She also measure right on time. My four year old son isn't the happiest about having a sister but he will get used to it. Dareld and I are ecstatic! Good luck to all.

Just read your post and I'm feeling the same way you are! I'm 37wks/5days and I had already had my daughter by now (first time around). I've had two L & D scares this past week and still nothing...I even had contractions for 15 hours on Wednesday and then they disappeared (nice!). I am 2cm and my cervix is soft, but no other progression. I'm beginning to get frustrated so I know where you're coming from!!

I know what you are saying and I did talk to him and now i just do what I need to by myself. He said sorry and he has been so tired a lot and was just grumpy and I said it is almost over and we wont have to worry about it. When I am 35 weeks I can do what ever I want and will not be on bed rest anymore. YIPEEE!!! I hope things get better for you as will, it is so hard to do this on your own sometimes even though our men are there they do not understand. Will have good day and thanks for listening.

How are you today!! Sorry I just need someone to talk to. I am so frusterated with my fiance. I was not feeling will last night and had a bad headache from the meds they put me and and was starting to have bad cramps agian. Besides that it was like 85 in the house last night and I was very uncomfortable. I asked if he can turn on the air conditioner and he got so mad at me and Yelled I just want to sleep leave me alone. I cried for like 2 hours and just layed on the living room floor crying because i feel I am bothering him now because he has to do everyhting for me for about 3 weeks. Does he even understand I need to sleep as will and I am very tired to. I have been a mess all day today and can not stop crying because now I dont want to ask him to do anything for me and I cleaned the whole house and I am not suppose to do that but I did not have any contraction and I know Bailee is fine. Sometimes I feel so alone and have no one because I know he just does not understand how tired I get to. He even seemed yesterday it was a bother to go to the hospital and leave work. I knew there was nothing going on but contraction and Baby was not coming and I just am not going to bother him anymore. Thanks for listening. It is hard when you dont have a lot of friends to talk to. again Thanks

i am dialated to one cm and I do keep contracting. I have not made any progress since the last time i was in hospital when i was 30 weeks. I started to loose my mucus plug but that really does not mean to much which I find weird if my cervix in not doing much but staying at 1 cm and soft. I am doing my birth natural like the other two but today I really got a taste of what I had forgotten about labor and that is what is going to come. The pain just caught me off gaurd. I hope I can do it because I hate taking any drug even today I did not want to take the drugs to stop my contraction because there is always side affects for the baby and I dont want to hurt her. It is crazy with me and drugs and me I wont even take Tylenol.

How are you!! will just got back agian from the birhting center. Went into labor agian. I was given meds to stop them and than goodness they stoped. I am getting tired of the preterm labor and hopefully in a couple of weeks I can just have her. I know she still need time to cook some more but I ready to have her. How about you any good news you only have four weeks left. I bet you are getting ecxited !!! Will have good night.

Hello, I have been meaning to catch up with you! How was ur Mother's Day? I had a wonderful day with my mom and daughter we went out to eat with my grandma and aunts all us girls! it was fun. It has been crazy busy around here my floors are finally done ,but waiting on my hall bth.rm. tile to get done. We haven't even started on the baby's rm. and I have 2 1/2 mths. It's stressing me girl ! yesterday my daughter had her 2nd set of tubes put in she had a speedy recovery! like within an hour in a half she was her normal self which I was glad,but I thought we were gonna rest I didn't get much sleep and had to be there @ 7am. so then we painted a flower on my belly. She had fun with that ! I have pics.and also some others that need to go on my profile I don't have any on there. I need to get my husband to do that. I'm counting down for next fri. for the 3/d u/s " I'm excited" about that! I will keep u updated and put the pics. on there for u to see. You sure don't have long! Take care Brandy

Oh, thanks so much! I take it he passed the TX bar? That's awesome! I give him credit for even having the energy to take it twice... I seriously said that if I didn't pass it, I was going to go back into social work [which is what my undergrad is in]. But I'm glad I passed... it's a great feeling. Does he have a job? I also just found out that I passed a few wks ago, and I actually started a new job this past Monday as a prosecutor. I can't believe they hired me knowing I'm going on leave shortly, but I am so happy they did! Hope everything is going well for you pregnancy-wise! Where are you from in MN? We live right in South Mpls & we love it!

Someone reccomended Zantac 75 for heartburn, and I have to tell you I am a happy camper. It was to the point that I didn't even want to eat or drink anything becasue of the awful heartburn. Give it a try, you will be happy you did, I know I am. 2 days now, and it workd great, and I am sleeping!!

Things are going good. I am almost 33 weeks so two more weeks tell I am not high risk any more. You know what is funny is Bailee has been trying to come for the last three weeks and now that she can be born in two weeks she will stay put tell I am like 42 weeks. For some reason I can see this happening. HA HA. Anyways how are things you only have 5 weeks left I am so happy for you and I know how you feel about not having all your stuff prepared. I am obsessing everyday about what I have left and need to do before she comes. Will have good day!!!!!!!

Hey, I just read my profile that was wrong about what the lady did some people it just doesnt bother. I couldnt do that to someone. I had seen a crib and an armoire @ babiesrus about a mth and half ago that was discounted and I went the other day to get it and it's had been discontinued and they don't carry it anymore she had look online in each store and the warehouse.so I have to keep looking to! I just dont see spending to much on something that will hardly be used the good thing about that one it was a 5in 1 it turned into a full size bed so that would have been a good investment. I 'm getting excited about my 3d/4d us at the end of the mth. I will let u know when that comes what the results are if the gender of the baby has changed. Well hope to hear back from u soon! I am still hanging in there. Have had some contractions today but just tighting but i have pain in the inside and pressure. I get to go back to work tomorrow on light work load so we will see how that goes and I see my doctor Thurs. He has been on vacation so I still have not got to see him yet, so with all the other doctors opinion I wonder what his will be. Will I hope my sanity comes back as will. I forget everything and now it is worse. I dont feel things are clean right. I just want everyhting done now like I am already nesting. I hope we still have some time and hopefully my doctor can tell me more thursday. I will let you know.

Thats funny I think thats why I am so scared to my boyfriend is much more involved and is going to be right there and I am terrified of something not so lady like happening lol.. my fisrt was so easy i was in labor for a long time like 14hrs but only in hard labor for like 30 mins.

Ya 12 yrs is lot my daughter is excited but with all of her sports and school I am afriad she wont have have as much time for the little guy. She is really excited though. Ya with my fisrt I worked at Dennys and I ate super grand slams every morning. Wow was that a bad idea lol.. So this since I am older as well i have tried to control myself a bit and workout every other day. For some reaosn with him I am more scared of labor are you worried at all about it?

It was a dermatologist who prescribed me the cream. She wouldn't give me anything first trimester, and I agreed. At the time I saw her around 20 weeks, I was mostly suffering on my face. The creams did help my face, but my back and chest have blown up in the meantime! I don't think the cream is helping those areas at all! I told my OB about the cream and he knows she's a great dermatologist and said, "If she approves, I approve." He had offered to prescribe me Erythromycin for the acne, but the idea of an antibiotic didn't seem right to me. Have you tried a little sun - do you have any place to go where you can expose your back at least semi-privately? Last time I was in Texas a friend took me to all sorts of parks down there. I'm planning on getting out there this afternoon, maybe later today depending on the weather, for about 10 to 15 minutes maximum. Also, I (still) have some pretty little boobies, so I never sleep with a bra anyway!!!

Hi there - I don't know about you, but my back acne has REALLY flared up this past week - and I put doctor-approved medicine on it twice a day! It's those big cystic pimples. I'm in NJ and been hoping for a weekend day that's warm enough that I can sit in the backyard and get a little sun. I'm working for 2 more weeks so have to get lucky on a weekend. Not too much sun, of course, but I think that is the only cure to help dry it up a little. I'm sure you've got plenty of sun in Texas!!! I feel/look like I have a disease back there.
