Hey there, I've been married to my hubby Chad since 26th Aug 06, and we have a beautiful daughter, Shaylan Monet (pronounced Monaye) who was born 16th Feb 07. We're expecting our 2nd baby on 7th Aug 08. We're so happy and excited to be adding to our lil family, and wouldn't change it for the world! Monday 26th Nov 2007:

I'm starting to have suspicions of pregnancy! I don't feel well at all! I felt sick, was very hungry, extremely thirsty, itchy boobs, sensitive nipples, cramping tummy...heightened sense of smell.....hehehehhehehe...hopefully good news!!! :)

Tuesday 27th Nov 2007:

Having had certain pregnancy symptoms, i suspected pregnancy, so i bought a HPT. I did the test but it was pretty faint positive, so I decided to retest in a couple of days. I was sooo excited, I didn't wanna wait but knew it would be betta!

Thursday 29th Nov 2007:

I did another test first thing in the morning, and it was positive!!! yay!!! A lot darker then the last one, so it was positive for sure!!! That afternoon, I went to my Dr, who confirmed my pregnancy, and worked out my due date to be 07/08/08!!! He told me to come back next week for the usual pregnancy check ups!

Sunday 6th Jan 2008:

Hey every1, I haven't updated in a while I thought it was about time....Today at work I noticed some brown-discharge, of course I was worried so I told my supervisor who sent me home straight away to get checked. I went to my usual Dr, but he's on holidays, so I sore a Dr I'd never seen before, I told him what had happened, and I asked if I could have an ultrasound for piece of mind, and he replies with "NO I'M NOT SENDING YOU FOR AN U/S YOU'VE EITHER LOST IT OR NOT!" I was soooo pissed off at what he said, I argued with him, but he kept refusing and told me to come back IF AND WHEN I HAVE RED BLOOD OR CLOTS AND HE MIGHT THINK ABOUT SENDING ME FOR A U/S! I was soo upset I left the clinic! I dunno whats so hard about sending some1 for an u/s it aint gunna cost him anything!

Thursday 10th Jan 2008:

Well theres no more browny discharge. I still haven't been back to the Dr or been for an u/s but I'm sure all is well, coz I'm still sick...and have all my other symptoms...and I just feel pregnant lol!

Monday 14th Jan:

I went back to the Dr's today n saw my usual Dr, I told him about the bleeding i've been having, and straight away he's sending me 4 an ultrasound! I'm so excited! I can't wait to see my baby!

Thursday 17th Jan:

I went for my first ultrasound today, i was sooo excited! we saw the baby clearly! at first it wasn't moving n i was starting to get a bit scared, but then he/she started moving heaps...a very active lil bub lol! it was so cute it just kept staring as if it knew we were there! i'll post pix soon

Tuesday 5th February:

I went for my first antenatal appointment today, and they have changed my due date from 7th Aug, to 5th aug...only 2 days but betta then nothn hehehe! Everythings lookn well. My next antenatal appt is 18th March...

Monday 25th Feb:

14 days till my next u/s on 10th march n hopefully we can find out if we're buyin pink or blue!!! im sooooo excited i can't wait!!! im really hoping it isnt facin the wrong way or anything!!! PLZ!!! i've been feeln baby movin 4 a while now, mostly lil bubbly movements, but i've also felt a few soft kicks...can't w8 till they get real strong hehe!

Tuesday 4th March:

Lastnight Chad n I were laying there, n he had his hand on my tummy, n he felt the baby kick twice!!! it was awsome, he hadn't felt this one yet, but now he has so thats great!!! He couldn't feel Shay kick until I was about 22 weeks!!! 6 days until my u/s CAN'T WAIT!!!

Wed 5th March:

MY BABY WALKED TODAY!!!! Shay decided she was gunna up n chase afta our dog Roxy...n thats exactly wat she did...let go of my finga n went afta our dog!! it was sooooo cute!!! I'm sooo happy n relieved she's walkn!!! oh n of course not to mention PROUD!!!! I love my lil girl!!!
My mum felt the baby move today, she was confident I was havn a grl, but she now thinks it myt be a boy....a lot of ppl hav been sayn that, I guess we'll find out in 5 days hehe can't w8!!!!

Mon 10th March:

I went 4 my u/s 2day, everythings lookn good, which is xlnt, n also.... !!!!!!! we're soooooooooooooooo xctd!!!!! eitha way we wulda been happy, but we kinda wanted a boy ehheheheeheheheh!!!! yay now i can go baby shpn hehehehhehe!!!!

Wed 12th March:

I've been goin crazy buyn bubby stuff hehehe! I picked my quilt set 4 babys room, kidsline sea life range, pic in fotobook....i love it its adorable!!!! we're doin his room n Shay's new room next wk ova da easta break!! We've decided to call our lil man Jayden Chad!!! I'm gunna book a 4d soon...cant w8!!!

I know its getting exciting, yes I have been nesting, cleaning, fixing things doing wierd little odd jobs. so you never know. I have spent today filling my week with meeting freinds and things so hopefuilly by having a full week, it will happen when I least expect it or worst case, at least I keep myself busy and my mind off things! Heyya! Yes, it is hard doing it all right now, but I would rather get it done prego than waitin until the baby gets here and doin it with two kids! My mom has my daughter, and she comes down here Wednesday. It will be 1 month I haven't seen her!!! I miss her soo much. I think thats been the hardest part of all of this. I cry all the time for her. My c-section is AUG 1ST!!!!! Thank GOD! I can't wait to get this baby OUT! How is everything going with you. Do you know your date yet???

wow!! thats some story, but the good news is the membrane sweep seemed to do the trick!! !! You have not scared me, I guess what will be will be and hopefully at the end I will have a beautiful , healthy baby which will make it all worth while! But if I could put an order in for a labour like your sisters that would be great!! Ha HA!!!Thats funny about Shay and blue stuff! As for all the things you suggest to get labour going I am trying them all except sex as hubby cannot bring himself to do it at the moment, thinks he may harm the baby (he wishes!! ha ha!!) the other one I have heard is nipple stimulation, apparently that mimicks breast feeding which causes the uterous to contract, maybe worth a go!

no such luck! curry was rubbish, asked for the hottest one and it was not hot at all! so no action at all, now just a week to go with no signs so thinking I might end up being late! As for the number of kids we want , just 2 I think, I dont think we could afford more, as I am the main breadwinner and we both have to work, so we need to pay full time nursery fees when I get back to work and even for this one coming its going to be about the cost of a second mortgage!! So that must be you finished work and playing the aiting game too! They say you go earlier with your second, so you never know, he might arrive soon! How is shaylan about it all, does she understand? Is she excited? Also tell me about your first labour, when did it start, how long did it last , whats it feel like?

well, im feeling like the babies head may hav come down now... i have a pressure and a pain in my pelvic area, and it keeps getting more uncomfortable...the contractions still dont seem too reg. but i cant really tell wen i get them everytime... i think i may go in to get checked just to be sure tho, b.c im getting increasingly uncomfortable... ill let u know if i find out its nothing, otherwise i guess ill be having a baby... idk, i just feel really cruddy right now tho, like im coming down with something... alright, ill let u know how it goes...

hey...well, i had small contractions all day yest., and i was still having them at 4 this morning wen i went back to bed, but now they seem to hav stopped some... its almost 8 now, so, ill just hav to see if they start up again once im up and moving around... i was feeling sick all day also, and extremely tired, and very nauseas everytime i had a contraction... everyone was thinking it might be the real thing, but i was a little sceptical, but thought it may be starting slowly, so, i guess well just hav to see wat happens over the next couple days... i do think it may be soon, just not as soon as everyone else is thinking... maybe three days to a week, thats wat i feel... hows everything going with u?? feeling any 'real' contractions yet??

yes it's really not easy to become a mom, but at the same time it's enjoyable too in many ways..
I'm coping with the symptoms of 1st trimester where nausea is at its peak, look forward 2 enter the second trimester..
it must be difficult sometimes to take care of two little ones at the same time, when one is in your arms and other is in your womb, and both are too little to understand what you're going through...!!

i had the sharpest pain/like cramp down below for a min or so then went away:( damm it i wish its getting things flowing down there! im hoping everytime i go to the loo to see something hehe but not a thing grr!!

Yeah, getting nervous, but more about the baby being fit and healthy, rather than the labour, I just keep thinking that wont last for ever and people come back for seconds (your doing it!) so it must be manageable. As I say just want to know baba is healthy. Going for a curry tonight with hubby, going to get the hottest one on the menu, so fingers crossed!!

bloody hell i wrote a full long arse msg and my comp decided it didnt wanna work!
yeah i must say thats what i fear, i hate being alone so even if that was me i probably would of done the same thing as u!
but im gonna try:) thats all i can do! man last nite i could not sleep at all! baby was moving and pushing like there was a disco or something going on!
every position i couldnt get baby settled, plus the toilet runs didnt help! gez i was so frustrated i was wishing to go into labour!! lol
i so hope its not like this from now in! im gonna be so moody if i cant get to sleep

Hi! We're doing very well, thanks! Bekah's scooting around all over the place...not officially crawling, but trying soooo hard!

Awwwww Shay's feeling crappy? It seems like everyone I've been talking to has a sick baby right now! Just annoying colds, ya know? But I bet her teeth are making things so much worse for her, too! Poor little sweetheart!

How exciting that you're body's ready to go at anytime! Woohoo! I can't wait to hear you gave birth! My doc said the same thing about going early since I just had a baby and I'm all sorts of stretched out down there. It would be nice at 38 weeks or so but hopefully not any earlier than that! She said it could be as early as 36, which would be Christmas Eve...let's hope not!!! lol!

I'm feeling well myself. I can't believe I'm 3 months already either! The time has flown! I will feel much more confident after I hear the baby's heartbeat on Monday. I know I'm still growing but I can't help the supid thoughts that run through my mind, ya know?
