Hey there, I've been married to my hubby Chad since 26th Aug 06, and we have a beautiful daughter, Shaylan Monet (pronounced Monaye) who was born 16th Feb 07. We're expecting our 2nd baby on 7th Aug 08. We're so happy and excited to be adding to our lil family, and wouldn't change it for the world! Monday 26th Nov 2007:

I'm starting to have suspicions of pregnancy! I don't feel well at all! I felt sick, was very hungry, extremely thirsty, itchy boobs, sensitive nipples, cramping tummy...heightened sense of smell.....hehehehhehehe...hopefully good news!!! :)

Tuesday 27th Nov 2007:

Having had certain pregnancy symptoms, i suspected pregnancy, so i bought a HPT. I did the test but it was pretty faint positive, so I decided to retest in a couple of days. I was sooo excited, I didn't wanna wait but knew it would be betta!

Thursday 29th Nov 2007:

I did another test first thing in the morning, and it was positive!!! yay!!! A lot darker then the last one, so it was positive for sure!!! That afternoon, I went to my Dr, who confirmed my pregnancy, and worked out my due date to be 07/08/08!!! He told me to come back next week for the usual pregnancy check ups!

Sunday 6th Jan 2008:

Hey every1, I haven't updated in a while I thought it was about time....Today at work I noticed some brown-discharge, of course I was worried so I told my supervisor who sent me home straight away to get checked. I went to my usual Dr, but he's on holidays, so I sore a Dr I'd never seen before, I told him what had happened, and I asked if I could have an ultrasound for piece of mind, and he replies with "NO I'M NOT SENDING YOU FOR AN U/S YOU'VE EITHER LOST IT OR NOT!" I was soooo pissed off at what he said, I argued with him, but he kept refusing and told me to come back IF AND WHEN I HAVE RED BLOOD OR CLOTS AND HE MIGHT THINK ABOUT SENDING ME FOR A U/S! I was soo upset I left the clinic! I dunno whats so hard about sending some1 for an u/s it aint gunna cost him anything!

Thursday 10th Jan 2008:

Well theres no more browny discharge. I still haven't been back to the Dr or been for an u/s but I'm sure all is well, coz I'm still sick...and have all my other symptoms...and I just feel pregnant lol!

Monday 14th Jan:

I went back to the Dr's today n saw my usual Dr, I told him about the bleeding i've been having, and straight away he's sending me 4 an ultrasound! I'm so excited! I can't wait to see my baby!

Thursday 17th Jan:

I went for my first ultrasound today, i was sooo excited! we saw the baby clearly! at first it wasn't moving n i was starting to get a bit scared, but then he/she started moving heaps...a very active lil bub lol! it was so cute it just kept staring as if it knew we were there! i'll post pix soon

Tuesday 5th February:

I went for my first antenatal appointment today, and they have changed my due date from 7th Aug, to 5th aug...only 2 days but betta then nothn hehehe! Everythings lookn well. My next antenatal appt is 18th March...

Monday 25th Feb:

14 days till my next u/s on 10th march n hopefully we can find out if we're buyin pink or blue!!! im sooooo excited i can't wait!!! im really hoping it isnt facin the wrong way or anything!!! PLZ!!! i've been feeln baby movin 4 a while now, mostly lil bubbly movements, but i've also felt a few soft kicks...can't w8 till they get real strong hehe!

Tuesday 4th March:

Lastnight Chad n I were laying there, n he had his hand on my tummy, n he felt the baby kick twice!!! it was awsome, he hadn't felt this one yet, but now he has so thats great!!! He couldn't feel Shay kick until I was about 22 weeks!!! 6 days until my u/s CAN'T WAIT!!!

Wed 5th March:

MY BABY WALKED TODAY!!!! Shay decided she was gunna up n chase afta our dog Roxy...n thats exactly wat she did...let go of my finga n went afta our dog!! it was sooooo cute!!! I'm sooo happy n relieved she's walkn!!! oh n of course not to mention PROUD!!!! I love my lil girl!!!
My mum felt the baby move today, she was confident I was havn a grl, but she now thinks it myt be a boy....a lot of ppl hav been sayn that, I guess we'll find out in 5 days hehe can't w8!!!!

Mon 10th March:

I went 4 my u/s 2day, everythings lookn good, which is xlnt, n also.... !!!!!!! we're soooooooooooooooo xctd!!!!! eitha way we wulda been happy, but we kinda wanted a boy ehheheheeheheheh!!!! yay now i can go baby shpn hehehehhehe!!!!

Wed 12th March:

I've been goin crazy buyn bubby stuff hehehe! I picked my quilt set 4 babys room, kidsline sea life range, pic in fotobook....i love it its adorable!!!! we're doin his room n Shay's new room next wk ova da easta break!! We've decided to call our lil man Jayden Chad!!! I'm gunna book a 4d soon...cant w8!!!

it must be really hard for u i can only image, i feel ur pain but i dont have another to look after and deal with all this at the same time ur a strong woman!!
i guess u should just tell them how ur feeling on ur next c/up if u still havent had him..
mum said thats what she did she cried and told them that she couldnt cope and they induced her...that was them days but they might considering that we r full term!

um yeah all my friends r and its nice but a big let down when i have to say no still in there:P
well im gonna tell them tomorrow that im still feeling faint and im having my iron and drinking plenty of fluids and its still the same i want some sort of answer coz im ova feeling like this!!
do u feel faint everyday? like it gets that bad that ur gonna pass out?

No positive yet.......we put TTC on hold for a while while I get my weight back to normal, I really don't want to gain any extra weight on top of what I gained with Ally.

yeah well im back already from there adam called me and busted me out and went off his chops at me! bloody men, i cant stay in the house, i felt sick so i came home anyway didnt get anything but food and mudcake ooh yummy lol..
had the sharpest pain in my tummy for a few mins while i was walking fark did it hurt and stupid people at stocklands in my way again! grrr im in such a cranky mood adam is texting me and being so mean gez im not in freaken labour just yet!! who knows after last nite and today i bloody hope so i want it over and done with!! send me that labour dust hehe:)iv finally caught up with u, but u still mite go b4 me, iv got my c/up tomorrow cant wait to see what they say...

feeling sick still thinking bout going to stocklands coz iv got my newphews christening on sunday gezzzz how exciting!! and i dont have any nice tops that will fit me, i was so hoping i had the baby b4 sunday so i could get outta going but now coz its still warm in the oven iv gotta go find something but i feel sick all the time get worried being out by myself esp coz i feel faint..been home all wk need to get oouutt:P

wow, shaylans getting big!!! so r we...lol... i went to the doc. this morning and im 2 to 3 centimeters and 80% effaced, and ive been having some pain now with the contractions, so im just waiting for the pain to get stronger, and the contractions to get more consistant... i want the pain!!! lol... hav u found out anything else from ur doc. yet? hope it wont be too much longer for us!!!!

Yay! I can't wait to hear you've given birth! It will be such an exciting time for your family. I wonder how Shay will react...

I know what you mean about wanting the time to go fast but bein sad that you won't have anymore alone time with Shay. I'm feeling the same way. I know I still have 6 more months, but it seems liek the frist 7 months of Bekah's life has flown, so I know she'll be a year old before I know it. And then we'll be bringing home another one! I just want to cherish every moment I have alone with her. I also fear I will neglect her after the baby comes. I really won't mean to, but I'm sure I'll be a lot sleepier from getting up in the night. And I also plan to nurse the new baby, which ties up a lot of mommy time. I'm sure we'll both be fine and get through it. I'm glad we both have loving, supportive husbands who help so much with our little ones.

How cute is it when they start talking all their little words? I LOVE that! What was the first thing Shay said? It will be interesting to hear what Bekah's first word is!

Bekah's still rolling to get around. She does get up on all fours now and rock back and forth a bit. So i know it's only a matter of time. But I don't mind that's it's taking her a while to get it. It just gives me a few more days of freedom without having to worry so much about what she's gotten into! lol! I did go ahead and babyproof this past weekend. So at least that's all done. Just a few outlet covers to buy yet. Oh, and I really need to pick up a baby gate for the kitchen door.

Anyhow, I should jump in the shower while she naps. I'll be checking in periodically to see how tings are progressing with you. can't wait to see Jayden's pics!!! xoxoxoxoxox Amanda

oh well least u tried!!!!
well since he was born i feed him every 4 hours and normally try keep him on my boob for a good 20mins each side, but in between boobs i change his bum so he is alert n ready for the next one... soo i spend an hour feeding n the change inbetween. the nurse said just keep him on for as long as i can but 20-30 mins is fine... doesnt matter how long they r on as long as they r puttin on enough weight means there gettin enough...

youll b right babe, just giv it a good try...
i didnt hav a prob wit breastfeeding. only the first day i got a tiny blister from him not latching on properly. and last week i had to bottle feed him for a day coz he got thrush in his mouth and gav it to me and i had trush on my nipples n coodnt feed him, but it was only one day.
hope i was a help.

they sure r hard work. and payton is a good baby... doesnt cry unless he is really hungry or im stripping him... lol he doesnt like to b in the nudey... so im lucky he is a good boy
