my name is jessica & as of today august 18th, pete and i found out that we are no longer expecting our 2nd baby anymore.......we're both devastated and are completely shocked.... we are however very thankful that we have our little kickerbug in our lives right now! he's our world, pride and joy!! and when the time is right for God to bless us with another happy and healthy baby boy or girl....it'll happen.....here's our story though.....we'll be back next time around.....don't worry

as most of you know, pete & i had a baby boy named joshua back in march of this year....he's such a good baby! i truly am blessed! he's sleeping through the night and has been since he was like 13 weeks old....he's happy a lot of the times....he is finally getting used to tummy time and using his neck and back muscles to hold him up....he's getting time in his swing and his bouncer.....and he's already got this adorable little personality about him that makes my heart melt ever moment of ever day!!!

as for pete's and mine's story.....here's how we met:

pete and i met my jr year (oct 2006) while i was attending Kent State University and it was almost love at first sight....long story short, he was my waiter at Ruby Tuesday's and i was with some friends from the speech and debate team(worst and best thing i've ever done in my life!!) and my one gf told me she was going to leave my number for him since he mentioned he lived close to my hometown about 20-25 min away....well i didn't want to tell her but i had already signed my receipt and left my name & number on the top of it! the next day he sent me a txt saying he hoped i had a safe drive back home (over 2 hrs away) and we txt'd back and forth for a couple days then he called me and we talked for almost 9 hrs straight about EVERYTHING! we realized we had a lot in common and set up our first date! we've pretty much been inseperable ever since!! well, 2 mo's later i realized something even bigger....i decided college wasn't for me so i withdrew, then a mo later we moved in with each other...then 4 mo's later we got pregnant....so you do the math...as many of you can understand why my parents weren't all that thrilled to find out we were expecting....they chose not to have anything to do with either of us...luckily around the mid to latter part of my pregnancy things started to work its way out....well, my son was born march 26th, 2008 at 11:05 pm weighing in at 7 lbs 1 oz & 18.75 in long and now my parents and i are doing better....so to speak......

anyway you look at it, it all comes down to the fact that pete and i are so utterly in love and are happy to have each other and our beautiful son! we both want a big family and we know that it will only be made possible because of you know who () :)

Hi, I read your story. Sorry to hear about the loss of your baby. However, you seem to be really upbeat and ready to keep on trying. That's good. I'm expecting my 3rd child in December. OMG!!! im so excited im finding out the sex ouf baby THIS saturday!!!!! my bf finally said i can pay for it, cos before he was like arrgh we havnt got money we got our house too pay for blah blah bloody blah, but i rang today expecting a appt for a few weeks but i got one for sat im too excited!!! im just hoping soo much that the baby doesnt cross its legs lol, i think ill cry, i did say i wanted a girl, but to be honest i really couldnt care less anymore!! i just wanna know :) yaaaaay !!!!!!! xxxx

Jessica, My heart goes out to you and Pete. M/C is an awful loss that you never really understand until you have one. The hurt runs deep but I promise you that it gets easier. I'm here if you need me. Concentrate on your little one and show him more love than ever! :o) My thoughts a prays are with you and it will happen when the time is right. :o)

I know there is no words to help with the pain as I have had 2 m/c myself and there is nothing that can be said.
However you are in my thoughts, take care of yourself and having your boys around will help I am sure!

Hi... Well things are going as well as could be expected for us. I have been cramping pretty bad and called my doctor today and he took me off work for the rest of this week as well. I have another appt. this Friday with another u/s to see if I have passed it yet or not. My doctor didn't put me on any meds other than pain killers but said if I hadn't passed it at my next appt that he would then talk about meds I could take to help that process or do a d&c. He said that he wouldn't want to put me through the surgical procedure of a d&c though because I didnt progress past 4 weeks. It just really sad that I would be two months tomorrow. I want to start trying again as soon as my levels get back down and I go through a normal cycle but I have to wait to see where we get orders to next. My husband doesn't want to have to move a 9 month pregnant wife across the country. So maybe we will find out soon when we will be leaving this state and moving to our next duty station. I just wish this wouldn't have happened, but everything happens for a reason and I know that God has a plan for us and it just wasn't our time. Anyway I would love to stay in touch and get through this together. I am so sorry that you are going through this too. I wouldn't wish this upon anyone. Take care of yourself and love that precious baby boy you have. ttyl..
