My husband and I are self employed, we own/opperate a coffee bar! It is so much fun being our own boss! We moved to a smaller town in Iowa to live out our dreams! Raising a family was the biggest thing that we wanted to do! We got married after being together for 10months, and we were expecting our first child 6 months later!

Our daughter Aliya came along and has been the light of our lives! It is wonderful watching her learn and grow. All of her milestones have been fun. She slept through the night starting at 8 weeks old. She walked on her 1st birthday! Got potty trained at just over 2 years old, and at 3 she can write her name! We have enjoyed her so much, I love when she spontaneously tells us that she loves us! (A parent can go on all day about their kids!)

What could be better?..........Another baby! We had our baby boy in November and have been overwhelmed with love! I call him my handsome boy, Aliya likes to call him cheeky boy! He has surprised us with his milestones so far. I had big hopes for him to sleep through the night at 8 weeks also! (Like every child is the same? Haha!) But, he surprised us, and did it! I was just starting to think of my plan on how to get him to sleep through, and he did it so well! We love to make him laugh. He has begun reaching out for toys! Oh what fun!

Hey girl!!

Yay for Bryce!! I bet it was a miserable week for you guys while he was cutting them. We've got an excessively grumpy kid too. His other top tooth is making its entrance and it's been a pain. Poor guy!

Well the rally is actually A LOT slower than usual... but still annoying. Got back into the house today and the people were GREAT. Everything was cleaned when we got here... so nice of them! It was great not having to come home and clean, especially when I've been so tired!!

Well Cory and I are having our 2 year anniversary on the 25th... which is also my birthday! We were going to head out to Yellowstone for a long weekend, but with how sick I've been, we may just stay around here. Kind of a bummer. Hopefully one of these years I won't be pregnant on our anniversary and we can jet away somewhere fun. Ha!

Heck yes!! Puerto Vallarta minus any kids or hubbies!! I don't remember the last time I had a strictly girls vacation. I think it was Cancun about 5 years ago!

Well Sturgis has officially started and its a zoo. The people who rented the house came in today. They're from Chicago, actually. He's a federal agent of some sort. Really nice people in their late 40's... so we're not too worried about crazy partying or anything. It is weird to think of people staying in your bed... but $2200 for 4 days makes it all seem totally worth it!! Ha! It's insane how much people will pay to get out here. Frankly, I'd just as soon leave. Works for us tho!!

Anyway, dinner is almost done so I better get going. Hope you guys are having a fantastic weekend!

Hey girl!! Wow, Bryce really had a teething explosion! None and then all of a sudden 2! Cians top tooth looked nasty like that for a few days too. Gotta feel bad for the kids... looks so painful!

I'm glad Aliya is doing better with the allergy situation. When you think of all the chemicals out there, its no wonder our little ones get them! I'm glad the fragrance free detergent is working for you guys. I was actually talking with Cory about that the other day and we're thinking of trying that too.

I'm doing alright. I had a couple of very rough days this week. Dang medication just wasn't working like I was hoping it would! Oh well. Like you I'm insanely sleepy this go around!! Something about that second child I guess!

So the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally starts this week and we're preparing for the onset of entirely too many Harleys on the road. It's a good time for about a day... then I'm ready for everyone to leave and for peace and quiet. We're renting out our house for a few days, so we're staying with my sister. It's been busy busy busy doing laundry and cleaning and packing!! I told Cory next time we just need to leave town and go on vacation. I could use a good dose of Puerto Vallarta right about how. Ha! But seriously, I could...

Poor Aliya!! I hope you guys can figure out what's wrong. We think Cian may have allergies too. We went in for his well baby check up and the doctor noticed some puffiness around his eyes. Nothing too serious... but she said he may have some slight allergies. We really never even noticed it! Crazy crazy.

Isn't it funny how boys are!?? I bet its fun to see Bryce starting to pull up on things. Cian is all over the place. We've got gates up everywhere. The boy is fast!! Yesterday morning I forgot to put the gate up and went to grab a load of laundry. By the time i got back... which was literally less than a minute, Cian was already upstairs in his bedroom! I freaked out. It's quite a bit of stairs!!

Well I'm off to put the little rugrat to bed. Hope little Aliya is feeling better!! Poor little gal... I feel so bad for her. Give her lots of snuggles!!

Yay for Bryce getting his first tooth! Has he been fussy at all during this process?? Cian just got his 3rd. A top tooth. It's huge! I think his other one is coming in too. He's been a little grump these past few days. Not that I blame him... they look painful!

I'm feeling much better... although I have my moments. I started taking Zofran which has been a lifesaver. There's no way I would be functioning without it. So yay for that!! I'm just so insanely tired. I don't remember being this tired last time. The joys. ;-)

Anyway, time to put the little one down for a nap. Take care!

I think next summer I'm totally going to try your stepping stone idea. Sounds totally cute!!! And what a great keepsake for in the garden. Love it!

Well unfortunately I've been terribly sick the last two days. My sister and Mom literally had to take care of Cian all day yesterday. I couldn't keep a darn thing down. Not even water. It was horrible. I was weak and tired and hungry. But nothing helped. I was hoping to not have to take any meds... but I gave in. Started Zofran this morning. So far, so good. I'm hoping it works!! Blah. I wish I was one of those ladies who just had easy pregnancies. Its all worth it in the end though. =)

How are you guys doing? I hope well!! I can't believe July is nearly ending. Insane! Summer goes wayyyy too fast. Anyway, have a lovely rest of the week!! Talk soon.

Sounds like a blast!! How did the stepping stones turn out? I love that you do that kind of thing. What an awesome idea for gifts!!

We had our second appointment today and finally heard the little ones heartbeat. Everything is looking perfect and she gave me a due date of March 9th. Still insane to me. So excited though. Cory and I are already starting to think of names. We've agreed on the girl (teagan) but are still debating on the boy name. Haha. We're sticking with traditional Irish names. Who knows what we'll come up with!

Unfortunately I'm still getting sick. Boo!! But not nearly as bad as last time (knock on wood!!!) We have an appointment Monday for another ultrasound... so I'm praying to see the little heartbeat! She thinks I'm about 5 to 6 weeks along. She said we'll get a better idea once we see the baby. Still totally foreign that I'm pregnant again. Seriously feels like I just did this! I guess I did! Haha.

I think we'll find out what we're having. We did with Cian and it was nice getting ready for him. Also, I liked talking to him knowing he was a little boy. But I definitely want to wait and not find out at some point. We want 4 kids... so maybe the last one. haha.

Anyway, I feel your pain about Bryce not having teeth. Cian didn't get his until a few weeks ago... now their popping out like crazy!! Cian LOVES puffs too. Isn't it adorable watching their little fingers pick up food? I love that you let Bryce crawl around in his diaper. I do it too. It's too crazy hot for clothes!! If we're home, I figure he might as well be comfortable. Haha. I love it. So cute.

Aw. Poor Bryce. I'm glad he's feeling better now. Doesn't it just break your heart when they get sick? I would have thought it would have been his teething too. Any sign of a tooth yet?

So my appointment went good. She thinks I'm about 5 weeks along... which is later than what I thought, so thats good! We couldn't see the baby yet, still too early. But we go in again next week for another US. We're still not really telling people until we see a heartbeat. So hopefully next visit will be it!!

Well its a pool day for Cian today. I better run!

Well we're starting the process all over again!! Took a test last week and it was positive. Cian will be 9 months next week... so he'll have a close little buddy to play with. We're SO stoked!! First doctors appointment in the morning... so I'll blog about how it goes. Yay for babies! haha.

Isn't teething just horrible? Cian is cutting his second tooth. I'm praying it comes through soon. I'm ready for my normal happy child back! haha. :-)

It's been hot here too. We have a little baby pool out back that Cian has been going in more and more. Yesterday I was about ready to jump in with him... it was SO hot. Summer is definitely in full swing!

Do you guys have any plans for the 4th?? Can you believe it's already almost July! Insane.
