Welcome to my page, I have 3 children, Jeremy 11, Akram 1, and Brahim just born. I also have a wonderful husband. We are a very inactive family at the moment due to the new baby. I expect that soon we will be more active once we have an established schedule.

Hello, sorry i've taken so long to reply, I haven't been on here for a while. My son was born finally on 10th March. he's a lovely bonny little baby. How's you? K

Wow, he was diagnosed and having surgery within the week!? That's a lot to swallow in such a short time! Well, it was hard, I'm not gonna lie about that. It is so hard to see your baby in pain and not be able to do anything about it, but actually he did really well and was back to his normal self within 2 weeks. My son had surgery when he was 7 months old and he is now 4. He is perfectly normal and unless you see his scar you have no idea that he had cranio. His head is a little wider than other kids his age, but they did that as he will need to "grow into" his head essentially, but it's not noticeable. As far as asking the doctors anything, ours were pretty thorough in the consultation, and honestly I can't remember if I had any questions or not. It was so overwhelming I know it's tough to think of stuff to ask. You just kind of have to get through it as best you can and be there for your baby. It's scary, but kids are so tough! Where are you having surgery if you don't mind me asking? My son had metopic (forehead) cranio, so it was pretty brutal, scar from ear to ear, and reconstruction of the entire forehead...his eyes swelled up and he couldn't see and was terrified and really for me that was the worst part. He was given morphine for the first day, but then just Tylenol and he seemed fine, just scared.
