Well it's hard to believe Clem is 7 months old already. He's developing a real little personality. Mostly pretty laid back but he likes people to take notice of him and does some pretty loud squealing. He's not yet sitting properly and has no teeth but loves to stand as much as possible. He can hold all his own weight, just needs to be held steady. Starting to wonder if he'll walk before he crawls! I'm in no hurry for him to grow up though. I have two big boys, he's my baby! I am really enjoying the support and friendship of other mums on this site. I thought I wouldn't have time to get on here after my pregnancy, but here I still am!

I had my darling little boy Clement Barnaby on Tuesday 9th October after about 5 hours of labour. He's the smallest of our three boys (6lb 2 oz) but then he was 2 weeks early and I was on the gestational diabetes diet so there were not too many spare calories floating about! He didn't look skinny though, just perfect, and was the average length for a boy of 38 weeks gestation. He's since been making up for lost time by eating, eating, eating! My poor nipples. But I want to give him all he needs. Let's just hope he decided he's caught up soon! Apart from that he's been wonderfully settled and I'm loving being a mum for the third time (so much more relaxed!). We are so blessed.

Hi, there!

I just can't wait until December for me.

My baby is starting to move inside of me where I can feel it. Just a small wiggly, tickly feel. I feel pretty good to know he/she is moving around in there.

Smiles,

Debora :-)

Thank you! ^^ We didn't make a decision to have a fourth child lol he just sort of happened. I was on the pill and we were using condoms lol!!! A BIG surprise but am ever so glad that it happened as I couldn't picture my life without him!
I would have liked to have a girl, I admit but I'm very happy to have another beautiful boy! Eventhough I got my tubes tied this time around, my husband and I have discussed IVF to have sometime in the distant future to see if we couldn't possibly get a daughter but either way, I'd be happy as long as the baby was healthy :)

Wow thank you so much for that. I have been on mine for a breakdown for aprox 3-4 yrs. Time goes that fast who knows lol. I am TTC but was told that i wouldnt be allowed to breastfeed on 100mg of zoloft a day. I was really pissed off (excuse the language). I have read that they dont really know that much about the effects on baby as yet but zoloft seemes to be the drug of choice when pregnant. Thanks for your input and if you ever need to chat im here. xx

Hi there. I started him on solids a bit ago. That is what is so frustrating...When I get up with him at night he drinks like a half an ounce then goes back to sleep. For another month he is sharing a room with my eight year old so I try not to let him cry to much. The other night I tried the reassuring thing and he got so mad he ended up scooting all the way to the other end of his crib until his head was against the bars. I think it is a cause and effect thing and I dont know what to do. Thanks for the comment though! I do deserve some sleep darn it!!

Hi there, thanks for your message on my page. I have a question for you...after baby number 2 and 3, does the crazy urge to be pregnant again subside or continue? I really want to know! (I have a feeling I am going to be one of those families on TV with 14 kids) Your baby is precious by the way...

Thank you for your message. News is that he does have infantile spasms. Luckily he fits into the idiopathic (no know cause) group so he has a 30-50% chance of developing normally. He is doing well though. He is on an anticonvulsant drug vigabatrin and has been seizure free for 6 days now! we are hopeful he will be OK. He is a very sweet boy. just learnt to blow rasberries and loves tickles. How is your lovely little one? He looks gorgeous in the profile photo x

Ok, duh, now I feel totally stupid. I just looked at your due date and realized what you were asking in your post. You're a pro by now! Please ignore my previous message/advice. You are SO close! I too am hoping I can majorly indulge the minute the baby comes out!

Thought I'd share...My sugars were a bit up and down the first week so I was ultra paranoid and every time I'd test I'd tense up which probably made it worse. Now, my 3rd week in, I'm really experimenting with more of what I used to eat, and finding my sugars are running normal to low. Weird, huh? My ob told me that the insulin resistance peaks at about 32-34 weeks and then starts to improve. I'm right about 34, so maybe that's why it's getting easier? hth, Wendy

I'm in a similar boat. I gained quite a bit in the 1st trimester, but only a couple of pounds in the 2nd and 3rd combined. No one has mentioned anything, so I just figure it's all evening out?? This is also my third baby and I remember always gaining at the very end. Best wishes!

You are very welcome. I feel the same way. As much as i am done with being pregnant, i would much prefer a healthy baby. I was actually a little shocked and upset that so many women (including a friend of mine delivering at the same hospital that i am going to be at) had pre set induction dates and csections set up to deliver before 38 weeks. Kudos (spelling?) to you for saying somehting!

RachelPlusBrad - Thursday, 27 Sep
Thank You for telling me that. I've been searching for people on here that has had the same problem. I've read everything on the condition, and I've read some stories. I just wanted somebody to communicate with about it. I'm very scared. I see a specialist next week. So, Thank You again I will keep you updated. God Bless - Rachel

thanks for your feedback right now my biggest irratation is my b/f's sister she's 10 and is the most annoying thing to me right now she doesn't give us well him a break and is the most spoiled and rude person ever and i can't stand it ..and it stresses me out thanks again though

tamtam78 - Friday, 21 Sep
Thank you for the comment... I was starting to doubt my doctor about not giving any more U/S. But glad to hear I must be doing alright. We are going to be having a c-section (only cause I had one with my first and I am getting my tubes tied) so she said she wouldnt be too concerned if he was a little on the bigger side, but she said he was right on. I am thankful for that. Glad to know I am not being robbed of peeks at the baby - I got to see him at 24 weeks. Until then he had his legs crossed and we couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl. Thank you!!

elizhay - Friday, 21 Sep
i have the almost exact same problem. my oldest sister has bipola and an aunt on my dads side. i also was diagnosed after the birth of my first child in 2001. i didnt really hesitate in taking it during pregnancy. the only thing i worry about is the valium, the doctors and midwives told me that i am only on 5 mgs a day, anything over 10mg is a little dangerous. i am hoping after my 18 weeks scan i can breathe a little easier.

luvbeingamom - Friday, 21 Sep
Thanks for the support! I have been so good up till now. Though i still have a scoop of ice cream for my afternoon snack everyday! Sometimes that just doesn't seem enough! All i want today is carbs! Pastrys, Pasta, Pizza! Good luck to you. Stay Strong!

elizhay - Friday, 21 Sep
Just wondering how long you have been on Cipramil for and if you stopped taking it at all or tried coming off it, i have tried and gotten very very ill????
