9 months officially on OCT. 27, 2008

NO SLEEP!!!!! THAT IS WHAT HAS BEEN GOING ON SO FAR IN MONTH NUMBER 9 Poor mama bear. Surviving on hot chocolate and text messages to make it through. LOL I did snag this delightful picture for you all to see. It is of KJ and his new snow suit. I was trying it on him and let him wear it on the way to pick up the kids. He seemed quite pleased with it on. It even has a lil tail in the back. I am excited about my choice and the price I paid 14 bucks. wooo woo LOL KJ is still eating like a truck driver and becoming more vocal. I'm letting him get more floor time so he can start walking. Believe me, I'm not trying to rush him, but after winter I'm sure he will want to chase after his older siblings. Boy they better watch out!!! KJ is in the house. I love him to pieces...he is my M.G.B.!

8 and 3/4 months update 10-22-08

KJ aka BABY MONSTER LMAO Finally...2 minutes to myself in this rough day. While this should have been an 8.5 month update its more like a he'll be 9 months next week on the 27th update. He is doing everything but walking. As we speak he is trying to break out of the stroller and tear up the computer desk. HELP I was finally able to finish braiding his hair today. Can we sing the praises of mommy!!! HOO-RAH maybe that is the marines or the army? Whichever one it is they have nothing on a mommy!!! KJ is: clapping,dancing taking a few steps, climbing,smacking, kissing LOL at his own antics,wrestling daddy, yelling at his brothers and sisters, spending time with his grandma when she comes to visit, becoming a night owl, eating like a truck driver, getting taller,screeching,Taking at least one stroll a day,mean mugging ,being mommy's M.G.B. & still rocking a size 2 swaddler( yeah hes long not too chunkalicious ) Wooooooo that is one busy baby! 8 months old (sept 27 2008)

Soooooo its official KJ is the big 8 months! I am so proud and in love with my lil one! He makes me smile more than any other on this earth. His personality is really blossiming and he shows it to us everyday.

I fully believe that he will be walking before his 1st birthday because, he is standing for longer periods of time every single day! I have it on video, but I can't seem to upload it to my computer. Sooooo I am providing pictures. Yes, I know he looks like a zombie, but that is the best I can do for the moment.UGH

His teeth are really out and he uses them. Ouch said the boobie. He was falling asleep so it was not on purpose. I forgive the two teeth bud! He eats like a champ and I'm still making his "baby" food. This week we are doing steamed sweet potatoes. Yummy. He is my still nursing, very vocal, almost walking, standing alot, not wasting time on crawling, super gripped,size 2 swaddler wearing, affectionate, curly fro fro having, eats like a man, 8 month old most gorgeous boy! I LOVE YOU KJ

Almost 8 months but not yet....KJ has had 2 things going on in the span of a few days. Yesterday, he started clapping on his own no prodding.

He is STANDING even more steady now. He does over and over until he gets tired letting go like a fearless lil one. I think he will be walking by the end of the year. His first birthday is Jan 27th, 2009 so we shall see. KJ is also saying mama. Sweetest words a lady could ever hear . Especially since he skipped dada yay small victories for mommy!!! LOL He adores his father and waits to hear his rock a bye baby sung by daddy every night. I am so in love its crazy!!!

UPDATE 7.5 MONTHS KJ has 2 teeth showing and one on the way down.hip hip hooray! He does not know they are weapons yet so I can cheer the loudest! How big is KJ soooo big and getting into a new adventure every single day. He is standing by himself on the bed for a few minutes at a time. I swear this just came out of the blue one day. They grow tooo fast my lil booba was just a baby yesterday. Here is a picture that I took today. (see above) KJ is 7 months as of August 27th. I am loving the fact that this little one came into my life. I know that every child is a blessing, but I feel as if love is pouring out of me onto him. He is fully crawling now. This little one has good coordination.KJ also loves to rock back and forth and then tackle the object he is going for. He also sprouted his first TWO teeth.Bottom right and top right. YAY I feel sorry for my boobs, but I am happy that he has a teeth. He was drooling forever.I wanted to take professional pics of him before he got a tooth and low and behold I just squeaked it in. They are not the best pics as, they were a free promo from babies r us. However, its still a pic. I am going to take him back soon though.

He also had his first ride on the ferry last week and stayed in a hotel 2 weeks ago. He's a mover and a shaker.LOL The other things that KJ is doing include, whining, yes, whining in this horse kinda voice. Letting strangers know he is not going to smile just because they are smiling at him. Reaching to be picked up. Trying to feed himself while you are doing it. (makes me crazy) hanging out in his johnny jump up. Wrestling Cookie Monster. Taking long strolls with mommy. Cuddling between mommy and daddy. Being tickled. Giving wet drooly kisses. Pulling hair and trying to stand up while nursing. Yeah, you just gotta be there! LOL KJ is my afro rocking, bouncy butt,affectionate, size2, swaddler wearing, most gorgeous boy!

6.5 plus update (8-18-08)

Soooo KJ is snoozing at the moment and I have just finished retwisting every single loc on my head. Wheeew! I am amazed that he did not wake once in the whole process! I am ever so greatful that he did not either, because its not something that you can just come back too once KJ gets into the groove. We (KJ and I ) are supposed to be traveling tonight and I have finally gotten all his things into a bag. Kendal, does not want me to travel with the stroller instead put KJ in the snuggli and hit the road(taking the bus) My stoller only weighs 12 pounds. KJ weighs almost 20. THE STROLLER GOES! LOL The bigger kids are off to FL for almost 2 weeks and KJ and I are spending time with daddy out of town for a few days. I guess we can catch up on some R&R/ couple time.

KJ has been doing some exciting things this week. Making serious faces at strangers as if to tell them to back away. He also has been trying his hand at leaping forward. Not crawling, but leaping like a frog. Hes laughing outloud more at his own and other peoples jokes. Giving wet drooly kisses to me and playing hide the bob from daddy! (you gotta be there) He is still eating like a man. Maybe, I should enter him in a pie eating contest lol. He is trying to take steps if you hold his hands. I snapped a pic of him trying his hand at cruising around the coffee table which I am selling soon as someone wants it. Nothing wrong with it just tired of it. his hair and nails are growing like weeds. Still gumming it and size 2 swaddling all the way, he is my most gorgeous boy!!!! 6 month update

KJ is expressing himself more and more these days. LOUDLY I might add! He knows for sure how to turn up the volume on his requests! He has even learned the fine art of fake crying to try and get his way. Sticking his tongue out and pretending to cough and cry. Is he for real? There were children before you this does not work young man! Grabbing and biting are his two of his favorite things. He is sitting up now, but mostly in tripod mode. Using a free hand to help him balance. He is also going forward crawling. No real speed attached to it yet. No teeth yet, but gumming everything in sight. KJ also loves to eat and rarely does he leave anything behind in the bowl. 17 pounds and 27 inches long he is so solid. Still rocking size 2 swaddlers, he is my most gorgeous boy!

5 month update

Soooooo KJ is still snoozing away on his 5 month birthday. That is great for me cause I have time to catch up with you...Yay. He is doing so much now. Besides rolling over, he is trying to sit up and is reaching for everything in his sight. His sense of humor is also expanding and he laughs at every single goofy song or face that I make up. However, his favorite is "I love you" I sing that when I want to bathe him and take his mind off things. Simple lyrics if you want to try 'em out for yourself. " I love you, I love you, I love you so much! I love you, I love you, I love you so much! I-LOVE-YOU! Then he busts out giggling. I wish that was all it took to make a mommy happy. Then again coming from a child it does! It's the daddy's that make us crazy!

He is still nursing (amen) That drives his daddy crazy cause he can't just pop a bottle in his mouth. KJ is very particular about where his food comes from. If he does not like it! Hmmmph you will hear about it loudly, I might add! I have been pumping with my Medela Swing. Still that is on no regular schedule because KJ likes it from the tap! I recently started him on rice cereal and breast milk. Some days are great and other days not so much! Yesterday he had two sep. servings in between nursing and some BM(breast milk) in a bottle.

When he is not eating, he is chewing on his BBQ fingers as I call them. He sure tears em up like they are covered in sauce. Since I have 3 other kids in the house, he is well entertained. For the next 5 days he will have all of them here to do it. Then...they go to camp. Hooray! (Do I sound excited?)

This weekend he will get to spend time with his sisters, (daddy's girls &my bonus babies. )That's right I'm a stepmother in training. All together we have 7.(yes, 7) beautiful children between us. KJ being #4 for both of us. Amen, there is no baby-mama-drama. I can't hang with crazy my temper is not built for that stuff.
