jenndmamma - Thursday, 31 July
Recovery is really hard, especially when we dont have time to rest much. I have had such painful cramps with the contractions from my uterus shrinking i think it is honestly worse than the actual labor. I hope things start picking up for you. Have you tried using cabbage on your breasts with the engorgement? I had one day where the engorgement was so bad but then it is getting better. Hang in there.

kristalsfirst - Thursday, 31 July
my son is 11 days old today and i had a rough recovery too. They used vaccum to assist gettin him out which made my crotch SOOOO swollen, i got HUGE hemmroids from birth so bad i could cry and could not even sit down, i didnt breastfeed and my boobs were so engorged that i could not even hold baby properly, couldny sleep cause my boobs killed, couldnt reallly do anything. On top of that i started gettin bad baby blues. My bf and i were walking in walmart and i started balling for no reason and i was like 'we dont spend any time together!!' on top of a new born i have taken on two step children as their full time mommy as there mom walked out and has no contact and ive been here as long as they can remember. Theres ALWAYS cleaning or something to do... i got a litle better as days went on and i hope you do too.

Thanks so much for the info! I will definitely try it. I had to go to the Labor and Delivery area of the hospital last night cause the pain was so bad. I will try it out, anything is worth a shot! Thanks!

Thank you so much for responding. I am not sure why I'm making so much out of this. I just want to get a mattress that is safe and comfy for my little girl. I appreciate you. Be well!

thanks for ur comment about my sister. no one has mention placenta previa. they went ahead and admitted her yesterday to see how much blood she's lost. they're not releasing her until she stopps bleeding. it could be months from now.

Hi, sorry about taking a while to reply, havnt been on this web site for a bit. You poor thing, you must have bad pressure and swelling. I hope you make it to the end of the school term if you need to. I can hardly imagine being a school teacher and trying to stay off your feet, it would hardly be practical! I dont necessarily think these symptoms mean you will go into early labour, especially if you normally go into labour around your due date. Unless you have medical reasons why your baby may arrive early. I would like to think a similar thing, based on my own symptoms and discomfort, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work that way. I have seen plenty of other women with such symptoms and they still have their babies arrive on time or even late. But remember each pregnancy is different and there can be reasons why you go into labour early. If there are complications with your pregnancy your health carer will take appropriate action to ensure things are done in the best interest of the baby and yourself. Hope this helps. I'm kinda hoping my bub comes early to so I'm out of my discomfort too. Good luck.

blessedmom2b - Friday, 21 Mar
Well, at least we have a good excuse for the mood swings and raging hormones! Everyone that talks to my hubby is always like 'don't disagree with her...she's a preggo women...you'd be crazy too' So it is no secret that preggo women should not be crossed LOL! We are having a sweet little baby boy, we found out this past Monday! Sooo thrilled he is healthy in every way so far! I hope you get the little girl you are hoping for...let me know when you find out!

Hello,
I saw your question on Week 20 and wanted to let you know, I just did 2 11 hour flights from Mexico to the UK and back and it was fine. You just have to keep moving around and drink LOADS of water.
You will be fine, I promise! xxxx Good luck from naomi xxxx

apreece - Sunday, 16 Mar
No, I delivered my twins vaginally without any problems. I hope this delivery goes as smooth.

noahsmom is right, flying is OK. Just make sure you stay well hydrated (planes are really dry) and get up at least every hour or so to stretch your legs, but that shouldn't be a problem...you'll probably have to 'go'! ;0)

noahsmom - Sunday, 16 Mar
its ok to fly while you are pregnant. they say you shouldnt fly in your last 2 months though. i took a week long trip across the country while i was pregnant with my son. i spent 14 hrs on a plane, super uncomfortable! good luck!

I like Laynee. My husband had an uncle that died a few years ago and his name was Sheldon. I think we are going to name our little girl Shelbie after him. We are having such a hard time with a middle name though. I kinda like Grace.

carolynjh - Friday, 14 Mar
Oh gosh, we are going to be so swollen and huge by the time July comes, I am starting to wonder what I was thinking trying for a summer baby!!! That's why I love this site, we can all be miserable together :)

apreece - Thursday, 13 Mar
I feel more movements than I do kicks. How about you? Somedays I feel her move alot then other days I don't feel much at all.

blessedmom2b - Thursday, 13 Mar
P.s. I've never seen that movie, but I'm sure I would be sobbing too. But then again, I cry on Hallmark commercials or just about anything. So that is nothing new, but maybe more intense! God bless you and your pregnancy, too!

blessedmom2b - Thursday, 13 Mar
Thanks for your message. I'm sorry it's taken me so long to write back. I haven't been on here in quite a while! I hope you are having less mood swings. For me, not so much... my hubby thinks I've been really on edge this week. But with financial issues and the stress of school deadlines, I think that is just making preggo hormones tough to deal with. Hope you are having it better than me:)

carolynjh - Thursday, 13 Mar
I'm on my 2nd pregnancy, I feel the same way. I almost look as big as my 37 weeks pregnant sister!

apreece - Wednesday, 12 Mar
I'm just dropping by to say hello. Do you know what you are having yet? Are you going to find out? I found out last week that we are probably having a girl but she wasn't totally sure. Hang in there and hopefully you will feel better soon. Just remember that all this is for a good cause.
