Monday, 28 April Hey I am in the AF, and I know it is actually kinda' tough to come home sometimes. It is strange my husband complains that I act wierd for 1-2 weeks after I get back. I really don't mean to, but it is a little strange making the transition from work focus to civilian sometimes. Its not that I don't love being at home, its just something we are trained to do. Give him a little time to warm up, he may not even realize he is being distant. (I never did til my husband pointed it out). Also he may be scared of what is to come. My husband had been grouchy for a week and finally I brought it up to him because I was in tears, and he just straight up said... "baby I'm scared" he was seriously just nervous as all heck to see if he was going to do okay with another little one running around the house, and he just needed some support and encouragement. As anxious/nervous as we are, I think our husbands get it 10 times worse, and nobody ever reaches out to them. It was really a special moment for him to ask for support, I think it was the sexiest thing ever, although he felt vulnerable I'm sure. Maybe you could just start by asking how he feels about the baby being here soon? Anxious, nervous? Ask if he is worried about anything... Okay I'm sorry this is a novel but we just went through this at our house so I just wanted to share our experience... snowwhite5thbabe -
Monday, 28 April I'm sorry that your reunion is not like what you expected. But keep in mind that he's been through and seen so many things that you'll never understand, and has had to shut off his emotions to be able to do his job these past months. It will take him quite a while to come back to feeling safe, and he may go through post traumatic syndrome, or at least moments of it...
I will be praying for your family.
God bless you and your little one! MilMom2Be -
Friday, 25 April Sex is the one time my lil girl stops bouncing around... She seems to fall into the group of babies that find the motion soothing, lol. Maybe you will be lucky too, as when she is still I can concentrate my attentionon my husband instead of being self-concious about the wiggly baby in the belly... Also my husband is pretty understanding, so if I tell him it's not a good time he is not to hurt by that. I am sure yours will understand as well, and he may be a little aprehensive about doing the deed this far along as well..... All men are different, just like all women n their babies, so what works for me might not work for you, but am wishing you the best!!! karla-anne -

Friday, 25 April Lol, Hun, my hubby deployed when i was six wks along, we only found out 12 days b4 he left. He got back when I was 26 weeks, just starting to get that rounded belly going, and baby was moving up a storm. He didn't care what I looked like, all he wanted to do was hold me and feel our little girl, and of course, depending on how your feeling, get busy! Lol, I still hav emy sex drive, and it isn;t uncomfortable for me in the preggo sense, but take it easy on the lovin, even at 26 wks, after nothing for 4+ months I was sore and walking funy thefirst week he was home. Hope I haven't offended you, but we are both married, so figured I would be blunt! Good Luck and so happy for you he is coming home!!!! lilgracie08 -
Friday, 25 April hi! Don't worry your hubby will still think you are beautiful! I am worried about my hubby too. We are planning to induce my pregnancy just so he can be home for the birth of his daughter. I am super nervous. I was hoping I would have the baby by now :( first-time-mommy-to-b -

Wednesday, 16 April I got my membranes stripped on Monday. It's where they stick their finger inside of your cervix and move it around in a circular motion to separate the amniotic sack from the uterine wall. It locally releases progesterone and is supposed to help start labor.
It was a pretty uncomfortable experience and I was spotting heavily for the rest of the day. karla-anne -
